One of my favourite tf2 gameplay facts is that in competitive Spy's role is to make callouts and relay information to the team. Things like how much uber the enemy med has, how much hp, is the enemy team pushing in or not. He is basically Scout and never shuts up in the coms about the state of the game.
And for a comp Sniper, it is very important for him to know the state of the game. Because it tells him whether he should stay or go, if his team is pushing or falling back. It lets him know if the enemy spy or sniper is alive, if he should risk killing the medic or getting killed. To know this, he pays close attention to coms, especially to his Spy's.
So in competitive, a sniper and a spy work very well together, because Spy talks and Sniper listens. I even remember it being mentioned in a video that as a sniper your spy is your best friend! So it's canon, gameplay wise, that Sniper and Spy rely on each other and have a good relationship. Sniper is far away from the team but is always listening, especially to Spy.

I think Sniper has a good self esteem, when there is nobody around to compare himself to. In solitude where there are no social skills that must be put to use.
Where there are no other Australians with their corresponding chest hair and moustaches. Where he can feel cool and mysterious and indulge in his special interests. Where there is no one to think he's weird and reject him.

new headcanon i just made in my brain: spy gave scout's mom his knife to remember him by before he left, and she gave it to scout when he left. has scout connected the dots? why would you think that, of course not!
he just sees spy's and goes "hey neat i have one of those too!" and spy has a mini panic attack that escalates to a Big panic attack upon actually seeing the thing and realizing it's The One. the kid is His Son.

Spy has a heart attack upon seeing this for the first time. Everyone is very uncomfortable about Responsible Scout and wants him to go back to being annoying and useless as fast as possible.

I like to imagine that pyro loves space, especially stars and the friends of our planet. Mostly because stars are made out of fire and the sun is the brightest light there is, but also because space is just enthralling due to the vastness and the unknown. Like the urge to light a dark room up with a candle or I guess to set people on fire

Lemme just say for the record that the blu medic is not 100% peachy keen, but he certainly has his shit together better than the red medic, like red is running himself ragged trying to organize his lab and blu has his shit filed and tidy and red is barely sleeping and blu has a bed time and red is chain smoking when nobody is looking and blu has a cigarette every once in awhile when spy offers..,.
