This is Shani Louk, as her family asked people to remember her. Her family asked NOT to spread That Photo. Her family asked people to remember her for the way she lived.
So here's a photo of Shani Louk:
Tumblr media
The man who took the picture of her dead body being kidnapped by terrorists just won a prize for that.
The man who came with those terrorists. Who knew the attack is going to happen. Who took photos and show himself holding weapons.
The man who worked with the people who aimed and killed and raped
That man
Won a photography prize
For taking the photo of
A young murdered woman.
For doing nothing but
Stand aside
And encourage.
Her family didn't even get her Body back.
Shani isn't buried.
I am disgusted. There are no words I can use.
ReneDescartwheel on Reddit wrote:
The content of the photo is a young Israeli woman lying dead and half naked in the back of a pickup truck, bleeding profusely from a hole in her skull, with her murderers using her as a foot rest, en route to be paraded like a hunting trophy in front of cheering mobs of Gazan civilians. And yet, the caption of the award couldn’t have been more dismissive of the October 7th atrocities if Hamas had written it themselves. It paints a picture of a well planned and successful military operation, without a single detail of the brutality of the massacre that is necessary to give context to this photo. The language used is deliberately minimizing. For instance, instead of saying that Hamas took hundreds of hostages, including women and children, they said “…taking dozens of captives”. That’s it. Could be 24, could be 253. Whatever. Somehow, despite the content of the photo, most of the description was dedicated to conveying the details of Israel’s retaliation.
MadUmbrella added:
TIL that initially on 10/7 the image sold by Ali Mahmud to AP of the abduction of Shani Louk’s body was identified by AP as “the body of an Israeli soldier”, so AP took the words of Ali Mahmud, a palestinian terrorist, and called Shani Louk “an Israeli soldier” while she was a civilian tortured and killed at Nova music festival. AP shared the photo on their newsfeed on 10/7 at 7:41 am, just a few minutes after the photo was taken and added the caption provided by Ali Mahmud who knew that his friends were kidnapping, torturing and murdering civilians at the Nova festival. This is complicity in the crimes committed by the palestinians on 10/7. AP’s journalistic ethics are completely gone, that’s why they’re paying palestinian terrorists for the images of their crimes. AP corrected their initial story only on November 2.

A terrorist attack on a Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia, killed at least 60 people last night (22nd March). Gunmen in combat fatigues opened fire on the concert hall, 20km from the Kremlin, killing at least 60 and injuring over 145 people. [source]
ISIL (ISIS) have claimed responsibility for this attack.
As of the morning of March 23rd, 2024, there are 93 confirmed fatalities.
Read the Palestinian Presidency’s statement in response to this horrific attack here, where the Presidency affirm their solidarity and support in the Russian leadership, “emphasizing its keenness on stability in the friendly Russian Federation.” Russia has airlifted more than 245 tons of aid to Egypt for delivery to Gaza, with Putin making a point to align with the Palestinians since the beginning of the attack on Gaza. “Russia will continue to supply the Gaza Strip with essential goods, including medicines and medical equipment,” Putin told Palestinian President Abbas, according to a readout from the Kremlin, which also said the Russian president stresses the “importance of a quick cessation of the bloodshed and the resumption of the political process.” [Source, Source]
We are thinking of the lives lost, and those hurt, in Moscow right now.

Currently my country is under attack.
Currently I’m serving in the IDF
Currently at least 10 of my friends are at the Gaza strip as soldiers of IDF, trying to rescue over 20 captives
Currently my family, friends and I are in uncertainty
Right mow, we know about at least 150 deaths and at least 1500 injured people
Right now my superiors might call me any time of the day to come to the base and help the array
Right now I’m not emotionally stable, I’m anxious and scared, i had 2 panic attacks and its not even the end of the day
To all the people in Israel, please stay safe,
To all the people around the world, please spread the message, Israel is currently under attack, we could use any help we can get
Rest in peace to all the people, that their life was stolen from them by terrorists,
May god be with us

Dr. Phil: There are some things that are just fundamental human decency, and when I ask you if what happened on October 7th is something you condemn, and you say, "Well, you have to look at that by looking at hundreds of years of conflict," no you don't. No, you don't. That's either right or it's wrong, and it was wrong, and I don't need a hundred years of conflict to know it was wrong.
Activist: The fact of the matter of is that Hamas, yes did take innocent life. Why did Hamas take away Hamas innocent life? Why was Hamas platformed, why was Hamas funded, why was Hamas empowered to take away innocent life?
Dr. Phil: Let me tell you something, let me tell you something. When somebody comes over a fence and goes into someone's house and burns their infant in their crib, I don't give a damn why they did it. It's wrong.
--
Dr. Phil: I've read it that the charter of Hamas is to eliminate the Jewish race. Beginning with Israel, but not stopping with Israel, wiping them off the face of the Earth. Is that true?
Mosab Yousef: This is true. But it does not end there. Now we have the problem of the pro-Palestine who are actually giving Hamas cover. They're participants in the crime.
In fact, since October 7, I personally don't differentiate between Hamas and what's so-called Palestinians. Cause actually there is no Palestinians. There are tribes, there is the tribe of Hamas and the tribe of the Islamic Jihad and there is the tribe of Al Khalil and there is the tribe of Nablus. And each one has different interests and all of them are conflicted. If they did not have Israel as the common enemy, they would kill each other. This is the reality of what's so-called Palestine.
Activist: You realize that's common colonial rhetoric? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♀️
Yousef: You don't know what Palestine is. Actually, in fact, the keffiyeh that you are wearing, this is just a statement to show that you really lack the authenticity to represent the kids. And what's so-called "the cause," this is a human problem. The cause must die. I think enough is enough. And now it's proven, and you are helping Hamas to prove it to the world. That Palestine depends on the destruction of the State of Israel. And this is not acceptable, and we are not going to agree to it.
And I tell you something. For the next 10 or 20 years, the Palestinian people will pay the bill Hamas has cost today. And most likely in blood.
Activist: To you, Hamas and Palestinians are the same, they're one and the same.
Yousef: After October 7, yes. There is no difference.
Activist: Really?
Yousef: The vast majority of the Palestinian people support Hamas.
Activist: Really?
Yousef: This is a fact. This is proven by statistics and your silence now. You are not even, you cannot even condemn Hamas and say that what they did on October 7 was an act of a savage group. You don't have that power.
On what authority do you speak? You only speak on the authority of Hamas propaganda.
Activist: No, I'm -- why do you say that I'm speaking on the authority of Hamas propaganda?
Yousef: Because if you were a decent human being, you can say that the thousands who were killed on October 7, that was a crime against humanity, it was a genocide.
==
When a stupid, stupid little girl playing activist, finds out she's an ignorant idiot regurgitating buzzwords and being used to provide cover for terrorism by a fanatical far-right supremacist cult.
I've been saying it for months. They CANNOT, WILL NOT condemn Hamas. Not one of them will do it. Because they support it. They support "the cause": eradicating the Jews from the face of the Earth.
Pro-Palestine is pro-Hamas. They are the same. There is no difference. They support terrorists. We need to treat these fanatics as terrorists. No, I'm not kidding or exaggerating.
BTW, now you know why Egypt won't take them - they're savage tribes who would just as soon murder each other.

Moscow:
Two guesses from me.
1. ISIS or a similar faction.
2. Putin himself. Yes, there, I said it.
I don't think it was Ukraine. It would be strategically stupid. It's not even about ability of doing it. Not about morals, but the world stage. It just doesn't add up.
Also I am not convinced in the slightest that it might be Putin's Opposition, because of the so-called elections: no one is surprised by the results, and if they wanted to act on a similar notion in such manner, then Navalny's death would have been the trigger, not fake elections that everyone knows are fake. Plus, it is strategically moronic.
Only two could "benefit" feom such a massacre: Putin himself, if he manages to push that Ukraine did it. Or, Islamic Jihad, because this is their MO, and they have already done similar attacks in Russia before in same fashion, and even the same type of venue.
This was a massacre, and a suicide mission, and I would put my bets on ISIS (also remember Russian involvement in Syria, where they back Assad, not only against the Assad Opposition, but also against ISIS as well. They have all the incentives to act like this, and they could care less about world opinions.)
My deep condolences, this will unfold into the ugliest shit. Friday night at a concert hall. Absolutely despicable.
Edit: I also don't see how this might be an attack in response of Russia vetoing the US ceasefire proposal in the UN. By whom? HAMAS? Iran...? Too much trouble over something that literally did not move the pendulum either side.

Can't stop thinking of some of the stories I heard today:
The mother whose been kidnapped with her 3yo and a 6mo babies.
(the babies were found abandoned by the border. No one knows what happened to their mom, or where is she).
The kids that were on the phone, hiding in a closet, who said "They shoot mommy and daddy, and we don't know where is the baby".
The mom who got a call from her 5 yo, and heard shooting as her husband and friend were murdered while trying to protect the kids.
She then spent 3 hours on the phone with her 2 children (5, 3), as they stay at the hall with their father's corpse. Stayed there until a neighbour broke in and managed to move the kids to a nearby home.
(the kids still heard shooting from the outside, but at least they weren't alone. At this time, they haven't yet met their mother).
(the 20 yo who was shoot and paraded naked in the streets. I think of her family -
This is how they found out what happened to her).
It's a sad day.
It's a very sad day.

NEW YORK (AP) — Americans are looking back on the horror and legacy of 9/11, gathering Monday at memorials, firehouses, city halls and elsewhere to observe the 22nd anniversary of the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil.
Commemorations stretch from the attack sites — at New York’s World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Shanksville, Pennsylvania — to Alaska and beyond.
President Joe Biden is due at a ceremony on a military base in Anchorage.
His visit, en route to Washington, D.C., from a trip to India and Vietnam, is a reminder that the impact of 9/11 was felt in every corner of the nation, however remote.
The hijacked plane attacks claimed nearly 3,000 lives and reshaped American foreign policy and domestic fears.
"On that day, we were one country, one nation, one people, just like it should be. That was the feeling — that everyone came together and did what we could, where we were at, to try to help,” said Eddie Ferguson, the fire-rescue chief in Virginia’s Goochland County.
It’s more than 100 miles (160 kilometers) from the Pentagon and more than three times as far from New York.
But a sense of connection is enshrined in a local memorial incorporating steel from the World Trade Center’s destroyed twin towers.
The predominantly rural county of 25,000 people holds not just one but two anniversary commemorations: a morning service focused on first responders and an evening ceremony honoring all the victims.
Other communities across the country pay tribute with moments of silence, tolling bells, candlelight vigils and other activities.
Tumblr media
In Columbus, Indiana, 911 dispatchers broadcast a remembrance message to police, fire and EMS radios throughout the 50,000-person city, which also holds a public memorial ceremony.
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts raise and lower the flag at a commemoration in Fenton, Missouri, where a “Heroes Memorial” includes a piece of World Trade Center steel and a plaque honoring 9/11 victim Jessica Leigh Sachs.
Some of her relatives live in the St. Louis suburb of 4,000 residents.
“We’re just a little bitty community,” said Mayor Joe Maurath, "but it’s important for us to continue to remember these events. Not just 9/11, but all of the events that make us free.”
New Jersey’s Monmouth County, which was home to some 9/11 victims, made Sept. 11 a holiday this year for county employees so they could attend commemorations.
Tumblr media
As another way of marking the anniversary, many Americans do volunteer work on what Congress has designated both Patriot Day and a National Day of Service and Remembrance.
At ground zero, Vice President Kamala Harris is due to join the ceremony on the National September 11 Memorial & Museum plaza.
The event will not feature remarks from political figures, instead giving the podium to victims’ relatives for an hourslong reading of the names of the dead.
James Giaccone signed up to read again this year in memory of his brother, Joseph Giaccone, 43. The family attends the ceremony every year to hear Joseph’s name.
“If their name is spoken out loud, they don’t disappear,” James Giaccone said in a recent interview.
The commemoration is crucial to him.
“I hope I never see the day when they minimize this,” he said. “It’s a day that changed history.”
Tumblr media
Biden, a Democrat, will be the first president to commemorate Sept. 11 in Alaska, or anywhere in the western U.S.
He and his predecessors have gone to one or another of the attack sites in most years, though Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Barack Obama each marked the anniversary on the White House lawn at times.
Obama followed one of those observances by recognizing the military with a visit to Fort Meade in Maryland.
First lady Jill Biden is due to lay a wreath at the 9/11 memorial at the Pentagon.
In Pennsylvania, where one of the hijacked jets crashed after passengers tried to storm the cockpit, a remembrance and wreath-laying is scheduled at the Flight 93 National Memorial in Stoystown operated by the National Park Service.
Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, is expected to attend the ceremony.
The memorial site will offer a new educational video, virtual tour and other materials for teachers to use in classrooms.
Educators with a total of more than 10,000 students have registered for access to the free “National Day of Learning” program, which will be available through the fall, organizers say.
“We need to get the word out to the next generation,” said memorial spokesperson Katherine Hostetler, a National Park Service ranger.
