Re: Jars/Ned. My boys! My loves. I will captain this ship if I have to. I got mad at everyone calling Tristan jealous of Ned or saying their competition is them fighting. No they love and support each other and the team. Jars’ ten yard stare isn’t murder it’s repressed lust as he tries not to show it from the bench. I’ve been wanting some tandem tendy love since we lost Flower(/Muzz) and the Bruins soulbonded goalies got popular and I’ve finally got it. Why would I not be a little insane about it.

Re: Tanger/Ned. I love Tanger and I love Ned but my preferred ship is Jars/Tanger/Ned actually. Tanger and Ned are interesting to me not as a pair that are interested in each other but as two people orbiting other people. Tanger is obviously protective of Ned cause he’s his goalie. Ned relies on Tanger cause that’s his A and top defenseman. The thing that binds them together as more than just teammates in my mind is Jars cause Ned and Jars have that tandem goalie bond and Jars and Tanger have that starting goalie/star defenseman - years of being teammates bond. I don’t see them working as just the two of them but there’s an interesting dynamic coming into play nonetheless

After perusing my recent plays, I hit upon this.

I think Cochise ties in very well with the idea of an unstable goalie tandem. Go on and save yourself and take it out on me? Yeah. You better understand that I won't hold your hand, but if it helps you mend, then I won't stop it? Exactly! Drown if you want, and I'll see you at the bottom where you'll crawl on my skin and put the blame on me so you don't feel a thing? Bingo!!!

I don't know. I see Jarry/Ned as a pairing with a constant of instability. Like, with Swaymark you have a basis of sheer unadulterated goalie love. I don't think Jarry and Ned are like that. Especially with that stretch at the end of the season, where Ned basically took over the net from the presumed starter Jarry, there's got to be some underlying tensions there. Save yourself, Ned, take it out on Jarry.
