Hi ! I'm so sorry to trouble you with such question but I'm curious to "investigate" when/if I'm reblogging art posts : how can I know if it's an AI post or not ? Thank you !

I don't love answering this because AI is always evolving and doing a better and better job at mimicking real artists. At some point, people are going to be looking at real, human-made art and think, "hey, that looks just like AI, I'm not going to share it." And that's because AI is TRYING to look like real, human-made art. That's what it's trained on. So that sucks for real artists. The whole situation sucks for artists.

But that being said, it's good to have a starting place when trying to weed out AI. I personally think it's better to avoid looking for the commonly-pointed-out hallmarks of AI - weird hands, backgrounds that don't make sense, patterns that don't line up, etc. I think these are problems that AI is noticeably getting better at masking. The fact that here on tumblr a post of artsy-looking bloody hands recently got thousands and thousands of notes without people noticing it was AI says a lot.

So, what can you look for? Start by going to the source of the art, whether it be DeviantArt, Instagram, ArtStation, whatever. Hopefully if it's a tumblr post, they sourced it properly. Sometimes the person will outright say it's AI. Great! At least they're being transparent. Probably because they got called out too much.

If they don't say it's AI outright, look at that creator's history - how long have they had an account? I've found most accounts with only AI-generated works are fairly new, usually created within the last year or so. But in that time, they've often posted dozens and dozens of works, sometimes one or more per day. It's very unlikely a traditional or digital artist will be capable of churning out that much content unless their works are simple sketches.

Look also at the styles of each work compared to the others. AI creators will often have either different iterations of the same style over and over and over again with only small changes, or styles that are so vastly different from one another that it makes no sense for an artist to have mastered 20 different styles in such a short time.

Keep in mind there are always exceptions and some real, human artists may have galleries that could be mistaken for AI at a glance. A lot of real artists post process videos or gifs of their works, and that's helpful.

Beyond that, there's not an easy, fool-proof way to spot AI. I look at tons of art every day to run this blog so I think I have a pretty good eye for it, and I'm still fooled sometimes. Not a ton to be done about it until it's regulated, although I would encourage artists to use the tools available to cloak their art posted online so it can't be scraped by AI.

another stupid theory thing here we go

this one's about Noise and Noisette

so i know, alright, i KNOW that them looking so much alike, and having similar names is just a cartoon thing. like Chipmunks and Chipettes. whatever. And i reckon that the Noise reacting to Noisette's affections with either tired acceptance (the chocolate corncob comic) or fear (all their other canon interactions) is a "wife bad" gag with not much thought put behind it. But goddamit it if i didn't just try to apply logic to this whole thing and here's what my tired brain has come up with:

the similarities are intentional. They were a couple before they were famous, and so they crafted their looks and possibly legally changed their names to reflect their dynamic duo status. And you know what? with how both Noise and Noisette seem to possess at least limited shapeshifting powers i'd say it's not impossible they'd fashioned even their faces to be alike

Noise's reactions to his gf could then be part of a bit they've agreed to play. Or maybe they're going through some shit, idk. Somebody give them marital counselling

the similarities are intentional, but only on Noisette's side. Presuming that Noise got popular before he got into a relationship, Noisette could've been a fan and a winner of a "become the female counterpart" contest that the network was running. Like, remember the Nostalgia Chick situation? or those weird "date a celebrity" shows? kind of a mix of those.

Noise then probably didn't bother to read the whole contract when he gave the OK to that project or smth

the similarities are... unintentional??? yep. why not ig. The stars aligned and two look-alikes chose similar stage names when going into showbiz. Then they learned of each other and instead of (or after) beefing over who copied who decided to boost both of their popularity by getting into a relationship.

now, this relationship could be entirely fake (until it maybe isn't, ohoho) but Noisette is a method actor whereas Noise absolutely wasn't ready to play the part off-camera

also this isn't connected to anything but uhhhh regarding Noisette's real name - it seems Hazel is the most popular fanon, and i like the name and i get why. BUT WHAT IF! what if we take the same principle that turned "Theodore Noise" into "The Noise" and apply the name-turns-into-article trick to Noisette? except French? Which would make her La Noisette, and La could be the shortened form for a bunch of female names. My favourite option is Laurene b/c it looks so normal. kinda fancy even. About as fitting as "Theodore" is for Noise

FNAF FILM SPOLIERS!!

So the fnaf film got released yesterday in the UK, and I was lucky enough to go to the first public screening!! I loved it sm, and I've got some theories, so buckle up.

First off, little details I loved. Balloon Boy was hilarious. MatPat's cameo was unexpected and amazing. I loved Foxy singing his little song (Which I and the people sat behind me sang along to) Mike's alarm clock and the pills on his bedside table being a throwback to game 4? Amazing. "I always come back!" Ok icon. And ofc, living tombstone at the end. Best feeling was when everyone in the cinema started scream-singing "FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDYSSSS"

Ok, Garett, who tf is this guy? I'm pretty sure he was Afton's first victim, so after a while of thinking, I thinkkk he might be the puppet? Ik it sounds far-fetched, hear me out. So every other ghost kid has been tied to an animatronic so far, that was expected, except for Garett. Now it could be that because Garett was kidnapped and killed and not lured away like the other kids, he just wasn't put into an animatronic, but I think that would be a missed opportunity. I think it would be perfect for Film 2, especially considering how Abby asked to see the animatronics again. Also, the fact that the puppet didnt feature AT ALL this film? A bit disappointing tbh. Ik they're in Game 2, not Game 1, but so's BB. I thought for a while about MatPats theory of Garett being Golden Freddy, and it being a dual soul situation like the Games, but idk. i talked to my dad, and as he put it "That wouldnt translate well from game to screen, no producer would sign on to that" and we all know how much of a film expert my dad is (/sarc) but i reckon he's right.

Okay, Baby. She's a Chekhov's gun that hasn't been shot yet. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I rate that babys screentime won't be limited to a little attempt on Abby's life and eating a broom. I've been trying to think about what she could do next film, and honestly? All roads lead back to Vanessa. This might just be my lore-hungry brain wanting Afton's daughter to possess Baby, but idk. It could be that Baby gets Abby next film? But I feel like she would know better after being almost killed by it. I think that Afton won't forgive his daughter so easily, I'm thinking he'll want to level the playing field, let her see how it feels.

I rate that film 2 will probably be a cross of being set in Game 3 and Game 5. I'm mostly convinced of Game 3, with the whole Afton being locked in the back room thing. But if they do decide to go the Baby route, then we could be seeing Sister Location

Idk! These are just my theories, I could be totally wrong, there could end up not being a film 2 at all! I just found it fun to word vomit. We'll have to wait a month or so for the film theory to see if I'm right at all. Anyways, let me know what you think! Give me your theories!
