“My heart is missing,” Theo tilted his head, closing the book in his hands and putting it down on the desk. Liam blinked. Theo’s way of saying ‘hello’ was less than encouraging.

For a second he battled the urge to yelp “Where have you been?!” in a voice that would remind most people of Molly Weasley, but settled for a less emotional option.

“Are we talking metaphorically or?..” Liam turned on the lamp by his bed (he never really liked the over-head light, and his wolf seemed to agree), sat down and wondered whether his life had become a tad too weird if a sentence “my heart is missing” didn’t freak him out.

“Liam, of course my literal heart is gone from my chest, and yet I sit here and read your stuff,” Theo rolled his eyes, “it’s an old hobby of mine.”

Liam threw a lacrosse ball at his head, too overwhelmed to do anything else, but Theo caught it by his ear and flashed Liam a toothy smile. “Troubles aiming, captain?”

“Hoped it would break your nose,” muttered Liam, “and please take your feet off my desk, you are not in a musical.”

The alpha needs to claim the spark. Bonded, they would be able to pull the pack together and lay claim to the Nemeton for the protection of the land. Time is running out so Peter makes a decision to find a way of his own. He will not let the Hale lands fall. He will claim the boy himself and build a new Hale legacy that will not break.

He protects Beacon Hills for sixteen years before he is forced to accept no one will be able to live through the hell mouth that is Beacon Hills, when Peter dies it's the last straw and as he lies upon the stump of the Nemeton tree he ends his life.

But fate didn't seem to get the memo ... he's alive and sixteen years back in time, to before Scott was bit and where Peter and his dad are alive.

Maybe things aren't too bad.

Now this one I have very few details on. Basically, Stiles comes back to Beacon Hills and learns that Lydia has a kid and that’s it’s HIS kid.

Did you guys ever wonder when Liam first thought about Theo as his anchor?

“Think about Theo,” Corey’s voice is soft and a bit tired, “it’s okay, Liam, just think about him.”

“He is of average height and likes chocolate,” snaps Liam, “happy?”

Mason and Corey hold onto him from their respective sides, as if they are the ones drowning, and Liam is a lifebuoy. Their scents mix in the air.

“No, Liam,” Corey’s voice is stronger this time around, “think about Theo. Like you always wanted to, but never allowed yourself.”

And that…

That makes Liam’s eyes snap open. He is sure they are still gold and very far from human, but suddenly, he feels back on the ground, and his jeans are soaked, and his eyes sting a little bit. Horrified, he looks between his friends: Mason’s nod and Corey’s sour smile.

“It’s okay,” tells him Corey, and Liam knows just how far from okay it is, but nods, his throat tight. He shuts his eyes once again.
