Hellsing / Neon Genesis Evangelion AU

I have an unhealthy coping mechanism called smashing my interests together and hoping they stick. There is very few one-to-one character duos so don't take the screenshot redraws literally in terms of who's who. Ramblings below, spoilers for Hellsing included.

Seras Victoria was a nobody at NERV who, during an Angel attack, gets severely injured and in a rogue move, Alucard (Eva Unit-00, Baskerville) brings her into his LCL entry plug to save her. It splices her DNA though to make her part...whatever tf Alucard is. Not human but not angel. I can't decide yet. Seras then is charged in piloting Eva Unit-02, Harkonnen, under the watch of Commander Integra Hellsing, head of Nerv and occasional pilot of Eva Unit-04, Knight. Nerv's staff is made up of Walter (former full-time pilot of Eva Unit-01, Blackbird, current Fuyutsuki figure), Enrico (head of Iscariot, kinda a SEELE figure, head of the Vatican Computer), Anderson (pilot of Eva Unit-03, Paladin), Heinkel (Central Dogma technician and pilot in training for Eva Unit-06, Martyr), Yumie/Yumiko (Central Dogma technician, failed pilot of Unit-06), and newcomer Pip (captain of the Euro Division and pilot of Eva Unit-05, Mercenary) etc. etc. Round Table is in there too somewhere I just don't have the time to care lmao. Makube is there too. Alucard and Walter served in the Second Impact. The all red image would probs be from the Dawn Era and the first defeat of the Wold Angel lmao. Each Millennium member is also gonna have a corresponding Angel, probably gonna be called FREAKs or something. A lot of Eva's plot points stay the same they're just mega moved around. Seras and Pip have to do a synchronized attack cause they're silly. There are a bunch of Alucard clones in Nerv's basement. Apartment shenanigans with a lot less minors. Anderson's Eva gets corrupted by an Angel (Nail of Helena) and Heinekl replaces him. Seras somehow triggers a Third Impact equivalent following Alucard's complicated results from dealing with Anderson/Walter, not quite sure yet. Walter gets obliterated by the Angel equivalent of the Captain and comes back as a sniveling teen 13th Angel. Pip gets absolutely shredded by an Angel attack but willingly gives himself to Seras' Eva, thus merging with the LCL/psychic link. Alucard goes big and goes naked (Lilith). Idk. I'll flesh out more later, thanks for reading my nonsense <3

Contrary to what may be believed, I think Alucard would enjoy babies and children. He genuinely enjoys new life being brought into the world because it makes him momentarily forget that the world is full of death and destruction. It makes him remember that life and pure innocence exists.

I could imagine him saving a baby from a hoard of ghouls and holding it, protecting it as he absolutely rips through the ghouls because he's not letting them kill this new and precious life that hasn't been tainted yet. If a vampire is doing some Dio Brando type shit, turning the baby's mom into a ghoul to get her to kill her baby, that vampire is getting it's heart ripped put and crushed. He absolutely wouldn't part with the baby until Integra ensures that the little one is going somewhere safe.

Then there's toddlers. He'd be sweeping a village that was the victim of a bad vampire attack to make sure there's no straggling ghouls. He assumes that the attack has left everyone dead, until he hears sniffling in a nearby house and goes to investigate, only to see a very small child, hiding in a closet, the parents dead. He'd take off his glasses and his hat before approaching them so that he doesn't look too scary. He'd be able to coax them out because he has a calming voice and would pick them up and take them away so that they don't see their parents' bloody corpses on the floor.

"Fret not little one, all will be better soon enough." And as they cling to him and bury his face into his coat, he rubs their back to shush them. While waiting for the Hellsing Organization to send people the clean up the mess and so he can report to Integra. He'd tell the child a story to soothe them to sleep, before reluctantly handing them over when help comes.

He'd also let a scared toddler wear his hat and glasses if it makes them feel better, both of them chuckling when the glasses and hat droop over them, and he'd also let them ride on his shoulders. It just pains him that they'll eventually lose their innocence so he makes sure that they enjoy it while they can.

I think Alucard would get children up until they're preteens, he can't really stand teenagers, especially modern ones. Integra was only an exception because she's his master and was mature for her age. He just doesn't understand teenagers and is truly an old fart when it comes to them. He'd probably scare some teens who got wrapped up in a vampire cult and wanted to become vampires themselves, and would scare them so badly and show them what it means to be a true vampire, that they'd give up on wanting to turn. But he does that just to preserve what innocence they have left, so they won't make the same mistake he made and end up dreading their eternal life.

IntegraxAlucard solidarity!! Hellsing was some of the first manga I read as a teen and it definitely shaped who I am and the way I like to read fanfic and write it. Something about the way these two interact just hits right!

HELL YES, im right there with you homie. Alutegra def one of my oldest ships and arguably the most compelling as far as dynamics go!

Personally i like to bucket them under enemies to lovers trope, not literally but spiritually. i mean think about it: he is a legendary super powerful vampire/eldritch creature, she hails from a family of vampire hunters and moreover the direct descendant of the dude who defeated and enslaved Alucard to his bloodline and by extension her.

Alucard has EVERY right to hate/loathe her and she has every reason to despise him (especially since she relies on him heavily to continue her family's mission) but they don't, in fact, quite the opposite. While they have the master/servant dynamic going on its much more than that; he absolutely revers her and she does not reduce him to a soulless monster- there is a formality yet familiarity between them that you dont see in many ships and adds another layer of complexity, i mcfreakin LOVE it

i also adore how Alucard is basically a sl*utty temptress, trying to goad and tease Integra every chance he gets while Integra aka "the Iron Maiden" is meant to be a stonewall knight chained to her duty, with the added layer of how she must retain her virginity as a failsafe from turning into a ghoul- i mean, talk endless sexual tension amirite? but also, THIS SCENE:

A Joy já postou algumas sugestões dela, e ficou me irritando para postar algumas que tenho guardada, mas entendam que tenho um ciúmes das minhas ideias... Só que do que adianta guardar ideias que nunca desenvolvi - e nem vou - na gaveta? Por isso, aqui estamos. Não criei apego com esses temas, então espero que alguém crie. Caso queira criar um rp diferente, quem sabe essas ideias não ajudam!

TEATRO, CIRCO ou PRODUTORA

Locais prestes a fechar as portas, pela baixa adesão do interesse das pessoas, mas uma pessoa apareceu e trouxe a magia novamente ao local, com uma nova administração e a esperança para os funcionários, que já estavam aceitando que tudo acabaria ali. Acho que combinaria com um nxn com skeletons com conexões pré definidas, apenas para dar mais dinâmica ao plot.

SOULMATES

Tantas vertentes, mas minha opção aqui é baseado no anime Koi to Uso (Love and Lies), não é tão bom, mas a base é boa já que tem um aplicativo governamental que decide quem é o par perfeito para a pessoa assim que ela completa 18 anos, mas ia ter que ser um sistema bom para que ninguém fique sozinho, então, querendo ou não, ter um balanceamento das coisas para não dar problema no futuro.

PIRATAS

Que tal uma ilha que reúne várias tripulações de piratas, é onde eles podem descansar de suas longas viagens. Mas vivem disputando espaço porque uma tripulação quer a ilha somente para si, pode envolver pranks por meio de drops e até brigas reais.

TEEN BEACH MOVIE, MOTOQUEIROS x SURFISTAS

Como no filme, esses dois grupos disputam o único quiosque da praia, querendo fazer do espaço seu point de encontro. Eles vivendo normalmente na cidade praiana, mas a rixa é muito nítida e toda vez que se encontram, não tem escapatória, acabam brigando. Não precisa focar só no quiosque/restaurante, tem toda uma cidade e coisas a serem feitas, uma coisa legal é abrir o leque de opções de um ambiente para o jogo.

ALTA SOCIEDADE

Já tivemos tantos rps de realeza, mas nunca usaram da alta sociedade da realeza para um jogo, ao menos, nunca vi nada parecido. Por que não fazermos um rp com lordes/ladys, condes/condessas, barões/baronesas e herdeiros ao trono? Termos as damas de companhia, os lordes dos monarcas e tudo que integra a chamada “alta sociedade da coroa”. Bridgerton e Queen Charlotte nos dão uma ótima visão de como montar um jogo, tem até abertura para uma “gossip” que espalha a “podridão” da perfeita nobreza.

Até tenho uma ideia com alta sociedade, mas ela fica escondida para que não pense muito... Mas super jogaria algo nesse tema, foge um pouco de só ter príncipe e princesa.

Imagine alucard’s confusion with the gen z obsession with renfairs and those TikTok’s that are like “when thou is in a tavern throwing it back with thy fellow wenches to gain the attention and approval of the knights in the corner”. Like he grew up in that era so he knows how much it sucked arse, but here’s these teenagers glorifying it and larping the worst years of his life while dressed as fairfolk lmao 😭 (not hating on renfairs, they’re amazing)

The only time I ever see Alucard entering a LARPing fair is becuase it is for a mission. But there is always fun to be had where there is mead and turkey legs, yes?

This was probably one of Alucard's more daring missions

The year is 1990, and Integra is 13-years-old (note: this was likely before she would be knighted)

This would be the first official mission Alucard would complete under the orders of his new, prepubescent, Master

And of all places to go hunting for a rogue vampire, it was in a bloody Renaissance Faire

The target was staging as a black knight in the duelling competition, using his newly garnered vampiric strength to cheat his way to the top

Pfft, nerd

Unfortunately, this nerd was also causing serious injuries and killing his competitors behind the scenes when they upstaged him in any way

So something needed to be done about him, fast

The discussion Walter had to have with Alucard in regard to what renfair's actually were was entertaining to say the least

"Human's actually recreate the Medieval Period for enjoyment?"

"Yes, it's really becoming quite popular these days. Common activities include theatrical arts, costume making, and mock-jousting."

Alucard is baffled and intrigued at the same time

What little memories he can recall from his mortal life are not one's of enjoyment, and are usually accompanied by the stench of blood and shit

Will people be throwing the contents of their chamber pots out the windows? Will there be bloody duels outside of pleasure houses, fighting to the death and leaving a stinking corpse out in the alley? CAN HE STAB SOMEONE CUS HE WANTS TO?

When Integra decides to accompany Alucard to the fair for educational purposes, she plays the part by dressing top to bottom in noble silks, jewels and fencing sword on her hip

That's when Alucard begins to piece things together

This is a glorified beauty pageant, and he was going to draw attention to himself if he walked in with his long red coat, glasses and sunhat

With Integra's permission, he quickly slips into his Vladcard form to better fit in

Chain mail armour, tattered cape, crucible steel kilij, and that sexy sexy stash 😏

Unfortunately for Alucard and Integra, this achieves the exact opposite intent

Everyone is all over them in an instant, wanting to admire Alucard's "hype threads" and super realistic sword

Everyone assumes that the two are doing a guardsman and princess cosplay, which pre-teen Integra quickly refutes with a swing of her also super realitic sword

After begrudgingly posing for a number of photos, and having a many number of ladies (and men) shooting their shot with smexy Vladcard, the pair finally make their way to the duelling competition, which was scheduled for midnight

The plan was to enter him in, make his way to the top two (too easy), where he would fight the vampiric black knight and 'theatrically' end his un-life

Alucard has never taken out a target with his kilij before, so he was actually beginning to enjoy this little excursion

That was until he read the Yee Olde Rules

"No metal weapons allowed"

There was a barrel next to the sign filled with foam swords and dulled pull arms, ready for any new competitors who were without their own prop-weapons

YOU AREN'T ACTUALLY ALLOWED TO HURT PEOPLE???

Alucard his done. He's so done. This is bullshit. Why bother to hold a tournament at all?

Integra has to pep-talk him into the game, convincing him that this would be the cleanest way to kill the target with all the people around, so they'd just think it was part of the show

But how was he supposed to kill the vamp with a foam sword?!

This is Alucard we are talking about

He could turn a ball-point pen into a deadly weapon

Alucard actually has to go easy on the pimple-ridden teenagers that lead up to the final fight, dodging their measily plastic swords with ease, before *bonk*ing them on the head with what could be considered a pity swing of his foam blade

It was very boring for both him and the audience, ending each match in 10 seconds flat

By the time he is finally facing the target in the final 1 V 1, Alucard picks up one of the dull-pole arms as his weapon of choice

Integra adorns it with a lily wreath she pruchased as a joke, giving Alucard her 'favour' with a wink and a smirk

With enough force and precision, Alucard is able to drive the blunt end of the polearm into the black knight's heart, impaling him 15th century style

The audience is initially stunned silent, not used to seeing fake blood being added to the mix of things, as well as the audible *crunch* of the pole arm snapping when it makes contact with the black knight's rib cage

Integra has to cheer and applaud dramatically, breaking the awkward silence and giving everyone the green-light that this was "just a part of the finale!"

Roses and daisies are thrown down to Alucard as he takes in the cheers and praise, giving a noble bow before exiting the ring

That was definitely a nostalgic experience, who knew he missed that stupid era so much?

i put some big organized lists of hcs below the cut :)

to start i'll talk about some general fun stuff! (assuming that's what you're here for):

i always use they/them for pronouns for heinkel. mostly because there's a lot of alternation between he and she in different translations and that doesnt sound very cis to me honestly. but i rock with people who use any pronouns too.

i also see lots of ppl say theyre a lesbian and i feel like that miiight just be a byproduct of The Abridged Effect but i dont really have a label on them. they have their freak shit going on with makube so whatever that is

not a natural blonde and is very diligent about taking care of their hair. only lets their roots grow back in once they start getting older and stop giving af

gets a prosthetic arm and leg after the london attack. we know injuries inflicted before becoming a regenerator still stick around (because of anderson's scar) so walter inflicted permanent damage there.

didnt really listen to mainstream music until they started hearing it from other people like seras and makube. heard classic rock after twenty plus years of exclusively angelic choir music & opera and their brain almost exploded

their dynamics with other characters:

was raised with yumie/yumiko at the orphanage so they have a sibling bond, but they drifted a bit in their teen years/early 20s until enrico made them partners in section 13 again. it was awkward for both of them for a bit but they eventually came into their own as iscariot's dynamic duo of murderers. theyre generally pretty serious with each other but sometimes the cain instinct still kicks in

they view enrico as their boss but still fondly remembers their times together as a kid. mostly just thinks he's pathetic, but in a loving way.

anderson is a very clear father figure to them, and as iscariot's next regenerator after his death they feel like they have impossible shoes to fill; theyre very hard on themselves for that reason. the way he died definitely contributed to heinkel's self destructive habits

they had met integra through enrico before the events of hellsing and just... hated her to death. but in a funny almost homoerotic tension way. if seras was there she would have lost her mind over it and would have been overprotective to some degree

now here's some details on the time skip in general:

heinkel was rushed to the vatican (or maybe some other section 13 base) very soon after the battle of london, not a moment too late. if they were taken anywhere else they would have died of blood loss, but was given the choice to become a regenerator human like anderson for a chance to save their life. heinkel accepts because they believe walter is still out there and wants a chance at revenge. it worked and hence heinkel is now seemingly immortal/doesnt age.

side tangent is that i think becoming a Regenerator ends the aging process at whatever time you take it which explains why anderson's age is unknown and why heinkel looks the same in their supposed 40s/50s

after finding out walter had died and their battle was meaningless they were in a dark place for a long time. they were having trouble properly taking care of themselves after becoming a regenerator (i can imagine it's probably pretty weird!!). while still being a part of iscariot they were sorta benched by enrico's regent (before makube) from entering any of the organization's affairs for the next few decades. they were sort of left to rot in a way, which certainly didnt help with the grief. they considered reaching out to the hellsing organization but couldnt bring themselves to. they still somehow managed to become acquaintances with seras after the battle since they shared the same struggle and losses, but that's about it.

side tangent 2: i think seras and heinkel would genuinely become close after integra's death, but that's very far in the future

enter makube about 15-20 years into the timeskip. makube arrives in section 13 as a bishop and a new caretaker to heinkel, and is hellbent on helping them out, since theyre being "neglected" by the current archbishop, and makube regards heinkel as very important for being one of the few remaining veterans of the war in london. them forming a genuine bond would come afterwards, but that's how it started. overenthusiastic makube and tired heinkel shenanigans ensue and somehow they become tied at the hip. makube would become the archbishop quite a few years after this, and heinkel by extension sorta just becomes their de facto mission buddy.

Hellsing Actors!AU (feat. Panic! At the Pineapple)

I was filled with determination when I read @laski-and-sage post, and I wanted to think about my interpretations of the Actor!AU.

"Hellsing" was filmed as a web series, which was attended mainly by people who had not even been associated with cinema before. It was just very lucky that it resulted not in an amateur art house, but in something more or less adequate.

There were 4 actors playing different versions of Alucard: Alucard's actor, Vladcard's actor, little Vlad's actor and Girlycard's actor. In addition, dog of one of the producers participated in the filming process, with which the image of the Baskerville Dog was drawn, so technically there are 5 actors. X)

Actor playing Schrodinger is actually a girl. And besides Schrodinger's role, she played little Seras, little Vlad and teen Walter. She agreed to it herself and she was obviously having fun, but sometimes she joked that she wasn't getting paid enough for it.

In total, four minors took part in the filming: Schro, little Integra, little Pip and Girlycard. All of them were 14 years old, so they were perfectly aware of what they were filming, so no psychological traumas, thank God-

Two people from the cast are models: Maxwell, and, surprisingly, Doc. Doc got to filming because his husband called him, and Maxwell got there because Doc called him, they are well acquainted, modeling agencies they work with had several collaborations, so yeah-

Regisseur starred as third-rate characters: Richard Hellsing. When asked about his role during the interview, he said: "Even if consider that I played a third-rate bastard who existed in story only to be killed five minutes after his appearance, it was quite fun."

Integra, Arthur, Irons and Penwood played both their young and old versions. To do this, they had to resort to a ton of makeup and a drop of computer graphics.

Pip doesn't really have eye, it was decided to use it in design of character he played.

At first, it was planned to devote more time to the events of original "Dracula", but they didn't fit into timings, so they had to drop this idea.

"That Hellsing and Tangled/tumblr “discourse”…lol. This is one of those instances where the situation is unironically very,very weird. Let’s look at it: Alucard, a 400 y.o. old sadistic and mentally unstable being who was known to have pillaged, tortured and raped (as Vlad Tepes and as Dracula) is around young Integra who is 12/14 (and while she is growing up). We can also see he doesn’t conform to modernity much generally, and during almost all of his lifetime it was common for very young teen girls to be married off (and not to mention older men starting relationships with them), so you can imagine his mindset. I feel like anybody thinking he wouldn’t have tried anything weird/fucked up is delusional. All I’m saying to these people is, if they are going to ship it, at least acknowledge this stuff. I read couple of fanfics (some were and some weren’t AxI) who mentioned instances were Integra was traumatized by some fucked up shit Alucard did when she was younger. Another thing I find hilarious is how tethered fangirls/fanboys are to his beauty. If he was some ugly mofo they would’ve screeched about this stuff and called him a creep. You can see now, when some of them watched Gonzo version and saw some moments where he was shown as ugly - they went mental over it. Funny thing though, Vlad Tepes was ugly as hell, and since Alucard can morph into whatever he wants, the way he presents now is all vampire glaze (Vladcard form too, because that’s not what he actually looked like as Vlad) Btw I think Integra is a lesbian (and if not lesbian then febfem for sure.)"

Oh, you're preaching to the choir here, honey. I don't know what's going on with this Tangled/Disney discourse stuff and Lord knows that I don't wanna know.

I mean, here's the thing: when it comes to fanfic and/or creating content, people can do whatever they want, though ideally it'd be nice if they didn't romanticize things that honestly have no business being romanticized. Like, oh I don't know, making a Nazi major into a happy-go-lucky family man that "drinks respect women juice". (I wish I was making this shit up.)

Anyway, as much as I hate Alutegra, I'm not gonna sit here and tell people not to ship it so long as they're being shipped when they're adults. Truth be told, I understand why people like Alutegra. It's the femdom/malewife dynamic and I actually love that dynamic too. Maybe if Integra hadn't met him when she was a little girl, I'd be much more receptive to it. Well, and there's also the fact that, like you, I believe that she's a total lesbian 100%. There's a lot more contextual evidence supporting a relationship with Seras than there is with Alucard.

I also prefer the view that Alucard may appear as a charming man when he's lax, but when he's killing people?

No thanks.

And even when he looks somewhat normal, he's still got this abominable aura that's latched onto him that doesn't go away even when he tries to suppress it. It's like looking down into the grand canyon at night; you can barely if at all see what's really going on underneath, but you know something is there.
