The end of Shizume vs. Mazume saga
CAN I JUST SCREAM OUT LOUD AND CAPS LIKE CCCCCRAZY? YAAASSSSSSS
OK, the me now and me 3 years ago have different view on Suzume's love triangle mess. Reading it again I can't even decide which one's which; sensei with his hipster teacher coolness or Mamura a quiet yet adorkarble hearthrob. They both suit Suzume and I'm on both teams.
But when Suzume decided for herself, by dropping the "DID" bomb to sensei, everything went crystal clear.
I found myself giddy and went "KYAAA OMG" that she chose Mamura. Go ahead girl. I also feel okay that sensei wasn't the one. The girl choose for us and it's a happy ending no matter what. Turns out I'm actually on team Suzume. Her happiness matters the most.
For those of you who are a hardcore Shizume shipper, let's just believe in the parallel world they are holding hands and having a wonderful first kiss now (darn, Orange got me caught up bad).
To my gorgeous sensei, you had your chance but you choose to back down, why? you cool fine specimen you *I keep contradicting myself his handsomeness is WAY too distracting.
You're welcome to visit me in my dreams. LOL.
So many LOVE confessions in the ending * squeal <3<3<3 <3<3<3 <3<3<3 (sorry sensei T_T).
I adore how Suzume just run to get what she wants (whether she want it or by accident. Sorry Mamura. Lol), she's the perfect example of a heroine that doesn't let boys run her life. Heck, it took her almost a year to even say love (compare to most of our teenage drama queen *cough *cough)
The tiny bit of BTS at the end was a cute touch also. Feels like reading a movie!!! Even though sensei didn’t get the exactly happy ending as we wish for he still look hot *darn I got distracted. And adult Mamura too * darn this men and their killer looks.
This manga got me time travel to my 17 years old self who'd scream for 2D boys. I give 10/10 for making me even envied every details of hair, clothes and gestures that is achieved by Yamamori sensei through studying countless fashionable references I suppose. How I miss drawing those! T_T
