The girls and I got a couple of miles in this morning before I had to start work. I was hoping it was gonna stay sunny all day, but, no. Maybe tomorrow!
Definitely moving a little slow today. Not horrible though, so I'm okay with it. I put in a couple of miles and a circuit to hopefully help work out all the soreness. We'll see 🤷♀️
Hard hikes are worth doing, that's for sure. This one was difficult, but I feel pretty good (body-wise). We knew there was going to be snow at the top, but we didn't quite know where it was going to start. We packed in snowshoes just in case. We hit snow about 2 miles from the summit, but it was packed enough we didn't need the snowshoes, just the poles. I really can't even explain what it feels like to reach the top of something like this. You just slowly turn in an entire circle, and all you see are mountain tops. I wish everyone could experience it once in their lifetime.
