To any 3 random ocs: if you had to make a 30 minute power point, what subject would you choose?
jokes on you you get more than three because all of my ocs are autistic. won't be drawing a response to this one tho
.zip - "I don't know. I could probably make a coherent powerpoint about anything if I have enough time to research it. Maybe about duelists."
Aukkora - "I'm a teacher, dear, I'm very good at this. It's the subject I teach, so I'd choose to make one about the history and modern applications of spells and runes."
Flux - "97 ways to fit spiders in places they don't belong."
Kepa - "A 'power point'? Oh, a presentation. I suppose I could speak about vintage weapon forging."
Luca - "Oh, animals for sure! I just watched this documentary about snails the other day..."
Piquet - He has already prepared a 372 slide presentation about airplanes that will take no less than 30 hours to get through and will be engaging the entire time.
Pond - "Veterinary medicine or wildlife rehab!"
Ryder - "...I'd like to talk about obscure figurines from defunct companies..."
Samba - "Boats, baby."
Tiro - "Street food from across the world. That's always been the thing that's held me up all them years."
----
Some side characters:
Alan - "Uuuhh... man, I always sucked at powerpoints in school... Guess I could talk about Stick Fortress lore or somethin'..."
Apnea - "Would you like to see an interactive presentation about street magic?"
Bantam - "The old coot chose vintage forging, so I'd talk about Dragonsteel and how fauns made it and humans stole that shit from us. Blackwatch my feathery behind..."
Dorahm - "Oh, give me anything to do with computers or video games and I could talk about it for hours. Anything else though I... can't really keep my thoughts on for long enough to do a presentation on it."
Foley - ["Can I skip this? no? dang... uh, I don't know. Maybe the different kinds of shirts I've got at the store. Or something."]
Galo - "I could do a six hour presentation of how much of a pain Satou was before we started dating."
HAVOC - "I COULD TALK ABOUT HOW EASY IT IS TO PUNCH THROUGH DIFFERENT THINGS. HEH HEH. BUT TO BE SERIOUS, I'VE ALWAYS LIKED BAKING. I COULD TALK ABOUT CAKES."
Smii - ["Easily combat robotics, I've spent my whole life in it."]
Sorrel - "Oh uh, uh, plants. I have a lot of them. They're all very tasty."
Professor Valor - She slams down one of her many scientific textbooks that she's written and grins at you. You are in for many, many bizarre biology lessons.

So, I was talking to a friend about their ceramic classes and apparently they created the game tic tac toe in ceramics with her friend and whatnot and their ceramics teacher was German, but spoke mainly english
He was looking at them kinda confused when they were sculpting the lil Xs and Os and the grid until they got it all together and he was like "Oh! It's tic tac toe! How do you say that in portuguese?"
My children
In portuguese it's "Jogo do Galo"
Which, the literal translation is: "Cock's Game"
I just needed to leave this here for posteriority

Tickletober 2022
Okay guys... you better be prepared, because I have a magnificent evil plan, and I need your help...
Tumblr media
Since I couldn't celebrate properly my 1000 followers milestone (still can't believe it guys, really), I had an idea that could work: would you like to help me with this Tickletober... by sending me your prompts from @lizzienaut Tickletober 2022 list?
Isn’t it a great idea?😁
So now, here's the deal:
You have time from NOW until midnight CET of September 13th.
The list is quite long and due to different reasons (life in general, my job, unexpected events and other stuff) I think I will mostly draw sketches, like these: KiriDeku, SerOchako, ShinrArthur, GaloLio
I don't know if I will be able to post the sketches on time, but I will try. If I can't don’t worry, I'll post later.
I'm taking for myself day 14, since is "self-insert"
You are more than a thousand now... I have to choose😟 ... you can ask for just one day and I will choose the prompts that inspires me the most and I am taking the liberty to combine asks from different people if they are similar.
You like a particular spot? You want to write a sentence to give me the inspiration? A specific scenario? Carte blanche or something else? Dunno hahaha🤣🤣 Write me everything if you want something specific or just to help me with the idea, you are welcome.
Now, I'm sure that I will recieve a lot of requests from Anons and it will be impossible for me to understand if someone has already made a request or has made one with the Account and then anonymously. So I kindly ask you: be fair, please. Only one message per person.
I WILL DO
Domestic comfort atmosphere and playful tickles are my workhorses.
MHA: class 1-A, I can try class 1-B, All Might true form, Aizawa, Yamada, Shirakumo, Mirko, Hawks, The Big 3, Shinso, Melissa, Rody and siblings, Mahoro and Kazuma, Eri and Kota are all in. For the children: ONLY platonic, playful, family, cheer up and comfort tickles.
Family related: kids and their parents or siblings. Nana Shimura, Dadmight and Dadzawa are in, but ONLY platonic and playful tickles!!
Class ships like platonic, romantic, rare... I don't mind them.
EraserMic, HotWings
I’m kinda sure that MHA will be in the spotlight, but if you want I am accepting also these fandoms now:
Fire Force: Fire Force Company 8, Vulcan, Lisa, Victor (I watch the anime, not reading the manga)
Promare: Galo, Lio, Aina, Lucia, Gueria, Meis.
Promised Neverland: all the kids are in, and the adults from Goldy Pound (I watched the anime and read the manga)

I WILL NOT DO
NSFW
Pedophilia so NO Teacher/adult X student/kid
Anything offensive
Religious themes

Tickle torture with bondage or any kind of restrictions, unless it is in the Prompt List (like trapped) but only playful things.
Day 7 Machine is out.... I am sorry guys, but I feel uncomfortable with machines😣
For MHA

A common compliant against Galo Thymos is the “fact” that he is lacking depth and, in the words of Promare’s own director, “made to be an idiot” — with this foundation, there is also word about how he compares to current ongoing protagonists in the modern age, and how neither his personality nor his design stand out. In this long winded rant that I’m instead deeming an analysis, I’m going to attempt to take apart these arguments one by one.
Galo does exhibit a lot of traits found in popular media; he doesn’t think his actions through, he brute-forces his way through situations, he puts too much faith into the wrong people and later suffers for it. However, there is a crucial part of his character that some seem to forget: whenever Galo comments “you eat?” (in reference to Lio, a Burnish), he is met with Lio’s -- understandable -- anger (”we’re human”), and upon being corrected, Galo’s mindset shifts without argument and apologizes. Due to Kray Foresight’s presence in Galo’s life and the constant anti-Burnish propaganda both Kray and the city perpetuate, it’s safe to assume that Galo has had this idea for as long as he can remember - that Burnish are not human. Years of horrific brainwashing are undone and, in that moment, Galo realizes that they are just that: horrific.
Following this scene, Galo confronts Kray about the truths Lio spoke (”I don’t deserve this medal; and you don’t deserve to be the one to give it to me”) - he doesn’t tiptoe around the subject matter, nor does he claim Kray’s innocence beyond this point. I’ve spoken about it too much, but Kray Foresight played a pivotal role in Galo’s childhood.
Tumblr media
Galo practically invented the term “hero worship” in regards to his bond with Kray. Galo mentions frequently how he wants to make Kray proud, and how he doesn’t want to “ruin” his image; by confronting Kray outright, Galo was willing to throw away the trust Kray had instilled in Galo because he had acknowledged, and seen firsthand, how wrong Kray, as well as Galo, had been.
Lighting and color play a key role in Promare. In the scene I just described, Galo, Lio, and a group of Burnish are huddled in a dark cave, however what little light is seen is centered on Lio, with Galo being “in the dark”:
Tumblr media
Later, when Galo is imprisoned by Kray, after his experimentation has been made known, Galo is cast in blue; notably, of a lighter variety.
Tumblr media
This is showing that, although saddened by the turn-out, Galo knows now. He’s no longer kept in the dark; nearly every secret Kray has kept has been laid out for Galo’s eyes.
One could say that Galo’s willingness to listen to Lio is foolish - you’d throw away a relationship you’ve had for years just for the word of a stranger? - and I would like to propose a counter argument. Galo doesn’t immediately listen to any Burnish about the experiments Kray does - Gueira and Meis mention in Galo-hen that they won’t let them have her (Thyma), and I think this moment, while maybe not consciously, made suspicion emerge from Galo. I don’t think he gave it too much thought after the fact, but I do think he thought, “huh,” and tucked it away for later. Of course, this cannot be backed by any official statements, it’s just my personal interpretation.
In cut scenes from Promare, we can see Galo awaking from a nightmare centered around the fire that took his home, his father, and his mother. This is stated to be a reoccurring thing by Galo, and it lets us, the audience, know that he thinks about this incident a lot, or at least enough for it to reemerge in his subconscious. I think it’s mainly due to the runtime that we are not given further insight on Galo’s background / feelings, but we are given clues to it:
Say I don't understand But I don't give a damn Even told me that I wouldn't reach the top But I follow my grandfathers' journey I know I can be the man that I should be -- Inferno
To begin, the first set of lyrics indicates that someone, likely teachers or of a similar authority, discouraged his want to become a firefighter. Despite this - which, for Galo, is major; he holds rules and authority in high regard - he doesn’t care, and aimed to follow his grandfather’s journey (which hints that his grandfather was, at some point, a firefighter as well), and become the man he believed he should be; an emergency responder, a firefighter, someone that keeps people safe. Keeping people safe is an important, and referenced often, characteristic for Galo, likely stemming from Galo having lost his family, and having had someone (Kray, unfortunately) keep him safe - although I believe this also mixed with his prior feelings, and just made him want it all the more.
Galo has shown several instances of “intelligence” / emotional maturity. Instead of thinking “oh wow there’s a flame dragon outside,” Galo immediately recognizes it as Lio, and notes that he’s upset; Galo knows that, in the mindset Lio was in, he was going to do something that he would regret, even if he wouldn’t regret it in that moment (”I know how you feel! Kray betrayed me too!”). He knows Lio wouldn’t regret killing Kray, but he also knows that Lio needs his people, and his people need him. If Lio were to have set that aside and killed Kray, Kray would’ve achieved what he wanted - making all Burnish appear as monsters.
Galo knows the media, that’s why he only ever got angry in private - if he messed up, Kray’s image could suffer for it. So, if Lio had killed Kray, Galo knew - somewhere in the back of his mind - Lio would’ve been written off as a monster, and Kray’s criminal actions wouldn’t have been known to the public.
It is also said in Galo-hen that Galo passed his aptitude exam with flying colors, and that he helped Lucia with the construction of his own Matoi Tech, particularly with the more “mobile” version of it (aka, what he battles Lio in on the rooftop).
Galo Thymos is a layered character with many traits. He has a long history that was, unfortunately, not touched on as much as I personally would’ve liked; but that does not make him a character lacking of depth. Also he has cool hair.

Spoiler-Free Review: I'll admit I'm really, REALLY late getting onto this particular boat. This book was originally published in 2010, when Visprint was still going strong, but thankfully Avenida Books has picked up Visprint's banner so it's still in circulation (publishing in the Philippines is ROUGH y'all). I picked this up is because I found out on Twitter that there's going to be a movie adaptation out on Amazon Prime, and I got curious.
Now, full disclosure: as a result of my upbringing, I'm AWFUL at reading Tagalog. I was raised in an English-engaged household and struggled with Tagalog all throughout my years in school, including while at uni (during which I improved the most, but not nearly as much as I'd like). Matter of fact I STILL struggle with it, especially if it's the literary Tagalog most often used by the literary luminaries who write in the language. Fortunately, Ong writes in a more colloquial Tagalog, which is a bit easier for me to grasp - especially now that I'm working and use the language a lot more.
This novel is the diary of a college student named Gilberto "Galo" Manansala, who started writing it as part of his requirements at school, but keeps writing in it as a way to record the events of his life and the way he feels about them. The first half of the book focuses primarily on that, and depicts not just the typical college drama involving teachers, friends, and romantic partners, but also what it means to be someone from the province who's come to Manila for a college education, and is relying on other members of his family to support them. When that support falls through, though, Galo takes certain extreme actions, and winds up having to go back home to the province to avoid the consequences.
The second half of the novel takes place in Galo's home province, where he goes back to see his ailing grandmother and (ostensibly) take care of her. While there, he finds out that something ain't quite right with Grandma, and with the town as a whole. This is where the horror actually comes in, as Galo learns about what his grandmother's been up to, what's happened since he left the town to go to Manila for his education - and what that knowledge does to him by the end.
Now, while the first half of the novel is pretty interesting because of the way it depicts life for the average college student, I did kind of wish it had been shorter? I understand that the author was trying to paint out Galo's life to give the reader a full picture of who he is as a person, and the events depicted and hinted at in the first half do come into play in the second half, but I did move through that first half wondering when the horror would finally come in.
Fortunately, once that second half begins the book really does live up to the horror genre, and it is horror in a specifically Filipino way that ensured I'd read this only in broad daylight. The tropes will be familiar to Filipinos who grew up watching the Shake Rattle 'n Roll movies, the old Magandang Gabi Bayan Undas specials, and inhaled Psicom's True Philippine Ghost Stories collections: the old provincial mansion, the isolated town, the unique religious practices-- All of those things will resonate with a creepy familiarity with Filipino readers. The themes, too, will have a familiar resonance for that same set of readers who engaged with the aforementioned media before; I don't think Ong is treading much new ground in that regard, since the theme of "Your sins come back to haunt you eventually" is a common one. But the execution is pretty enjoyable, and that ending is sure to send a tingle up the reader's spine.
So overall, Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan was a pretty fun, fast, and undoubtedly spooky read - but largely in the second half. The first half is a bit of a slog, and I can imagine some readers just skimming their way through it to get to the creepy bits - something which I think they'd be justified in doing, as it does run a bit overlong for my tastes. But what happens in that first half has implications for what happens in the second half, so it helps to pay attention in order to see the full scope of the horror that finally descends on Galo by the end.
Rating: three diaries

I know you want me (Calle Ocho)" grazie a Pitbull.
Marvin, Cristian Marchi e Gabry Ponte.

Nanuntok daw ng kaklase, apparently last week pa pala. Hindi lang agad nakita sa message request.
Hetong si L naman ay feeling attacked. Sabi niya dapat daw may ebidensiya yung nanay na nagrereklamo. Dapat daw may maipakitang pasa o galos.
I had a 6 AM class. Yes, sobrang aga at walang almusal as usual.
We were more than 30 sa room including our teacher, but none came into my rescue. I didn't ask though.
I was traumatized by that experience dahil katatawanan sa kanila ang gender ko and mahina ang tingin nila sa akin. Well, at that time, wala talaga akong lakas ng loob na lumaban sa kanila. Hindi ko sila kaya. Malakas sila.

Tumblr media
“Ang mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan” is one of the most promising books written by Bob Ong. It was a 2010 mystery novel in the genre of horror and suspense. Published by Visprint Inc., it tackles how far a person can be faithful to their religious beliefs when unimaginable calamities confront the way people live.
The protagonist of the story, Gilberto “Galo” P. Manalansa is a 16-year-old student who lives with his aunt. He always writes journals of his daily life, supposedly for a school project. He constantly dreams of a creepy old woman, but he doesn't know who she is. One day, he was informed by his aunt about the sudden passing of his father, who was in the province with his grandmother, Susan. He was devastated by the news and decided to visit his late father. When he stepped foot on the island and breathed its air, he reiterated the memorabilia living in the place. He made his way to his grandmother’s house, but he noticed the changes in the house: there were different statues and sculptures, and his grandmother’s reader’s digests were already gone. He was reminded of how his grandmother acts; it seems that she has her own world. Galo feels a temporary freedom away from gadgets and unhealthy living. During his stay, he met Niko and Jezel, the children of the pass-helper of their house, and they became close to each other. Through them, he gradually figures out the mystery of the community and the role of his grandmother in a cult.
The novel is all about how a certain belief and perspective on the world change the personality and approach of other people. For instance, Grandma Susan was once a caring mother and a teacher. It was stated in the latter part of the story that everything changed when she was left alone by her loved ones. Similarly, Galo was left with his aunt while his parents were working to support his education, but this affected his mental stability, making his life a bit miserable.
Furthermore, the book emphasizes the different societal issues faced by all the people in the community. Bob Ong compared life with and without the reliance of people on technology and without the stains of advanced development. Galo lives in a city, and oftentimes in the first chapters he uses different technological materials to live, but as he went to his grandmother’s province, he figured out the different style of living, wherein it is more simple and relies solely on organic sources provided by the environment. “Iisa ang relihiyon namin, edukasyon, pamahalaan, at ekonomiya. Ang kaunlaran dito, nasa puso. Nasa pagkatao. Wala sa kagamitan”. (“We have only one religion, education, government, and economy. Development is in the heart and in one’s personality, not in innovative things.”) This shows that not everybody is in favor of the drastic change of the world, and it is insignificant to center everything into the technologies. It was also discussed the issue of teenage pregnancy and how careless young generations are in terms of decision-making.
The story used a first-person point of view. It was written in an epistolary format, which is presented in the form of a diary by the antagonist Galo. This works very well in presenting the overall story since it creates a sense of immediacy or makes the readers involved in the story itself. It vividly projects how Galo became hopeless in terms of love, money, and family. The language used is Filipino, and it utilizes informal terms to fit in with the format of the story. The characters were well-written; in every chapter, it is evident how each develops, which adds to the depth and dimension of the book.

Milo: Do movies count? Loves Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, A Whisker Away, and A silent voice. Cried during all of them.
Tasha: Komi Can't Communicate. Kind of surprising, but it's kind of a comfort to her. Just a cute lil something to watch with a pretty art style. Likes Komi. Also somewhat kins her.
(These are all series I watched!! Everything about Wolf is entirely based on me! I just got Hanako kun's contact lenses today, and I'm just waiting on his cape because of a shipping issue, then he'll be my first entire official cosplay!)

Galo, in some form, was always chasing for approval. Some of it comes from losing his parents at a young age, therefore losing a source of affirmation. Him having essentially grown up alone is where his wanting praise / attention stems from, him not really having anyone to give him any positive feedback. This was thus moved onto Kray Foresight, the man who had saved him, however intensified by his status of hero: Galo wanted to become someone that Kray could be proud of, and sought to achieve it. While becoming a firefighter / emergency responder was, primarily, to help others, there was always a little voice in the back of his head saying “Kray will be proud of the good job I did,” although he never heard it from him, in the end.
As heard in Inferno, which is considered Galo’s theme: “even told me that I wouldn’t reach the top,” says to me that this was true of his teachers and other figures in his life, that although Galo had an attitude that he would become the number one firefighter, he was told that he “wouldn’t make it far” based on mindset alone.
While part of this is just his personality, wanting to show off and have eyes on him, part of it is him just not getting the attention he wanted, or really needed, growing up. Not at the fault of his parents who, of course, couldn’t predict their fate, however at the fault of Kray Foresight, who never gave it to him.
Galo has a healthy dose of self confidence / esteem, but there will always be a part of him that wants to be told that he did good, that he’s doing good. It took some rewiring on his behalf to no longer have that voice wanting Kray’s approval, but to this day, he still wants some form of it; just not from Kray.

TS4 Teacher!Galo
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
cause im super horny for the teacher!galo au //// these are the closest hairs I could find because no one’s cc for promare on ts4 TT n TT one day....
This was my first experience using pose player and let me tell you it was painful >.>; It didn’t help that the pack didn’t come with instructions on how to position them. I also didn’t know how crucial it was to have another sim to “hold” the green diamond while the others posed. God it was a hassle. I’m gonna redo their sims and do another photoshoot eventually but this will have to do for one.
