The results are in!

The people have Voted Emperor Peony as the Ultimate Tales Sexyman! After a surprising victory against fandom fave Yuri, Peony's momentum could not stop. Despite never being playable and only appearing in a handful of scenes, his charm, level headedness, chill mood, and quirky love for his pets secured him a spot in people's hearts all across the fandom.

And thank you everyone who voted and participated along the way! I've had a lot of fun hosting this and if anyone had fun following the polls, then this was a success. I hope to see you again in a few months for Tales of Sexylady!

There were a total of 278 votes in the final round. In order to win, a character would need to get a majorty of 1st place votes - 140. In the first round of voting, I looked at only first place votes, and the results were:

Eizen: 88 Peony: 90 Gaius: 67

As you can see, Peony was already in the lead, but he didn't yet have a majority. In this case, Gaius was tragically eliminated as he had the fewest 1st place votes.

Then, everyone who ranked Gaius first had their second place vote converted into a first place. With votes redistributed, I counted up the new totals:

Eizen: 101 Peony: 107

With a 6 point lead, Peony took the crown!

As I said earlier, there were a few instances of questionable voting. I eliminated votes based on the standard rule that if there were 3 or more ballots in a row, submitted within 30 seconds of each other, with the exact same ranking, I eliminated all but one of them. Some of these may have been legitimate coincidences, and for that I apologize and hope they wouldn't have changed the outcome.
