Breakfast in America es el sexto álbum de estudio de Supertramp lanzado por A&M Records el 29 de marzo de 1979. Fue grabado en 1978 en The Village Recorder de Los Ángeles. Generó tres sencillos exitosos en la cartelera estadounidense: "The Logical Song" (n.° 6), "Take the Long Way Home" (n.° 10) y "Goodbye Stranger" (n.° 15). Y en el Reino Unido, "The Logical Song" y "Breakfast in America" estuvieron entre los 10 primeros.

Supertramp "Breakfast in America" LP. I remember as a youth in the 90's playing this from my dad's record collection and being really disappointed with the music on the album because the album cover is so fantastic. I suppose I was hoping it would rock a bit more and maybe be a bit more biting lyrically. I'm not saying the music is shit or anything, I mean, hey, I shelled out for a MFSL copy of the album when you can pick up a good clean copy in any dollar bin... I'm just saying, they always left a lot to be desired.
