dogday comfort headcanons

- listen, after you saved him and catnap traumatized him, he definitely needs therapy. but he’s still great at being a therapist himself, believe it or not.

- first, he’ll pat your shoulder a little, but if you need more than that, he’ll hold your hand, and if you’re still not better, he’ll move to snuggling you.

- he’s all for letting you just vent and let out your emotions, and he’s giving you all the validation you need while letting you rest against him.

- if you just want to distract yourself, he’ll help you find a way to do so, usually by cuddling you and letting you rest on top of him.

- he’s probably one of the very few reasons as to why you haven’t lost your mind yet, and you’d like to keep it that way. he’s more than willing to be your therapist and your comfy pillow anyway..

“it’s ok Angel, just let it all out.. you’re allowed to be sad..” he whispers as he gently strokes your hair and gazes down at you with the sweetest, most loving eyes..
