Maid Ace works at Sabo's family home; Sabo was in an accident years ago and is a reclusive noble (maybe he uses a cane in addition to having the burns all over his body). Sabo fall for Ace and already considers him a personal servant, confident that Ace will turn in his partner. Until the day he sees Doctor Marco courting Ace and Ace smiles in response and both begin to "fight" for Ace's attention. Ace is just "oh two hotties would be nice if they want fuck me, but they're probably being gentle" "we want to fuck you!" (Luffy is there only for the food)

Ace doesnt care much for Sabo’s family, theyre vain, materialistic and care mostly about appearances. Sabo after his accident absolutely does NOT align with those aesthetic morals they pride themselves in

So Ace is overprotective of Sabo, just because the rest of the staff have been ordered to simply keep Sabo alive doesnt mean that he should be stripped of his dignity or rights to the same quality of life as the average person, so he goes above and beyond, also thinks it’s disgusting that Sabos parents automatically moved onto their second son bc Sabo effectively is no longer available to uphold their family honour or image whatever

Hence the whole Sabo falls in love with Ace and Ace who wants to be by his side but doesnt want to take advantage of him!! Uses his own wages to call for a doctor to check Sabo’s wellbeing and condition (Marco) and then henceforth the above scenario haha a silly renaissance period style drama love triangle that didnt need to be so dramatic!

Bonus to your bonus: Luffy broke in and through comedic unimportant details ended up becoming some kind of extra waitstaff, turns out hes easy to manipulate bc you only have to feed him lmao (no need to pay him minimum wage …. dw he steals shit anyway bc he will its just how he is) hes always happy to spill something on the white carpets and get sent to sweep the estate chimneys for the month if it means putting a smile on sabos face

Just a random thought, what in reapers were sent only to investigate and not to take any action. Ronald may be watching the whole scene from the shadows and later report to HQ. As such, what if Jane also is a grim reaper and was investigating at the manor? While fighting the girls she was just playing her part as an undercover agent

Just observe and report?

That might have once been the case for reapers sent to investigate before collecting souls in weird situations, but things have changed ever since Othello sent that dove in ch149, since he's specifically calling the other reapers to action: they must focus on actively stopping Undertaker and his minions.

So, I don't think Ronald has orders just to observe and report back. Not in this case. He might need to call in some backup, or he might just be waiting for his scheduled backup to arrive, since it's common for at least one more reaper to show up later, closer to "go time".

Sadly, as cool as it would be, I don't think Jane is a reaper we just don't get a reveal for during that assignment. Besides, she's not wearing glasses, and even while playing butler to Madam Red, Grelle wore glasses. Only the deserting reapers don't wear glasses anymore.
