i’m building in tørsvall again! not to be dramatic but i actually teared up a little when i opened up again for this first time in over a year lol
it’s so nice to feel excited about this little world again! the break i took was well needed though, i was feeling pretty burnt out and uninspired
so i’m updated a lot of the wall art and lots that i’ve already finished, because why not! i’ve also made a really cool stained glass window for the church, i’ll post pics soon! my favourite lot, the whale museum, is also getting a tiny facelift :) i’ve made something special for it too… 👀🐳

I’ve been poking at some old projects and testing some new ideas in CAW, but nothing worth screenshotting just yet. I did, however, have some screenshots saved from my Hylewood build - this is my personal edit of Fluse’s edit of Nilxis’ Hylewood (what a mouthful!). I’ve been trying to add more commercial buildings, so I’m working on building a restaurant, hospital, movie theater, and coffee shop. The blue building is actually a hotel on Fayne Island that’s still in progress. I’ve really missed TS3, and CAW in particular. There are some projects that I’d like to release over the summer once the semester ends. Things are slowing improving for us personally (got our second shot, woo!), so I’m still hopeful for 2021.
If you’re into Sims 3 worlds, I’ve been watching Omedapixel’s Tørsvall with great interest, it looks like it will be a super cool world! There are so many awesome sims 3 world creators out there, and I love that so many are still active.

finished up the strawberries and onions, and made some cute little garden stakes! also made yet ANOTHER version of the apple tree cause i wasn’t satisfied 😅
i absolutely love the apple tree that comes with cawblog’s strawberry acres, and wanted a real apple tree to match! so now it has fallen apples when it’s ready to harvest (thanks to @bietjie for this idea!) i’ll release two versions, so people that prefer to not have apples as part of the texture can still have a pretty tree :)
and i’m back in tørsvall!!! found out the swan effects i converted from TS4 were causing massive lag and had to delete them :(( they were so cute!!

i had a random urge to make defaults of the flowers sims can gift to each other! i didn´t get pics of all the colours, but this version has all the same colours as the original (although i made the yellow have slightly pink edges cause it looks pretty haha)
i just need to fix the thumbnail! anyone know how i can do that? i'll upload these as soon as i've done that :)
also..... i may or may not be back in my tørsvall era... 👀

Hey Emma! I use your default wildflower version for a pretty long time now but when I wanted to download the updated version the simfile link says that the file doesn't exist any longer. Can you help me with that? hi emma! what lighting mod(s) do you use in your game? and do you use reshade? if yes, what's your favorite preset(s)? :) also, are you still working on your medieval world?
hi! i'm currently using a slightly edited version of the lighting mod that comes with @potato-ballad-sims boroughsburgh i'm working on editing it a bit more so i can release it with my world, tørsvall.
as for reshade, i don't use a preset per se, i just turn on mxao, fxaa, DOF and sometimes ambient light! i am thinking of trying gshade though, so i might try some presets too!
and yes i'm still working on my medieval world! i try to build/create when the mood strikes lol, so i kind of switch between projects all the time 😅 everyone seems to be on a medieval cc kick right now, so i'll probably be inspired to get back to it pretty soon!

hi!! are the default plant replacements a general mod or something for Tørsvall specifically? either way im sooo thrilled bc ive never seen anyone take on EAs hideous harvestables before, its been a long time coming for sure. also sending you tons of love for your work on tørsvall, im swedish and im always hungering for nordic worlds... nordic harbor towns are my favorite thing in the world :)

Tørsvall legend says that, on the eve of Jule, the spirits of the mountain (bergrå) come down and gift well behaved childern with books and sweets at the foot of their bed. Unofficial legend says that this is their favourite place to shop!
its finally done, the bane of my existence, this book shop 😫 i had to scrap the rabbithole because it turns out you have to have double doors for proper routing and i really liked how the outside looked with the single door! so as a compromise i just furnished the front room and not the whole building like i had planned to
