I actually love Ezri, she didn’t bond willingly and the whole process ruined a lot of Ezri’s previous life, but one of the biggest comforts for her was provided BY her symbiont. Past hosts coping skills and ESPECIALLY past friends (Kor, Sisko, Kira, etc).

Not only that, but her relationship with Ben is a full circle moment. Kurzon was his mentor, Jadzia his contemporary, and Ezri his apprentice.

i did up end up privating the eyeball fic this fine afternoon. i didn't realize how annoyed i would be about getting questions/comments about mutagenicity and eyeball creatures. it's irritating to put a note on a fic saying that you don't want those comments and then still get them.

this isn't any one person's fault; it's just extremely annoying to be on the other side and getting the same comment over and over. it's why i turned off comments for non-followers in tumblr. maybe one day i'll do some edits so the MC isn't tori, but for now, RIP eyeball symbionts.

I've seen people lament the fact that in “Invasive Procedures” the Dax symbiont lets Verad integrate too easily but... I don't think that's what happens? I mean, you can only ever glimpse characterization of the symbiont (if any) by connecting the dots between the hosts, and Verad is shown just going through the motions of the joining. Verad Dax does not actually know what to say to Benjamin in order to convince him to let him live; he consistently shows how callous and egotistical he still is, even if he remembers facts about Curzon's or Jadzia's life, and doesn't even seem to realize that Benjamin is just trying to bide his time. That's really not what I would call good integration—it isn't working because Verad's an asshole and doesn't really care about the symbiont beyond what benefit he gets from it. So to me the symbiont is simply not really "there" in Verad Dax; even in its apparent passivity the Dax symbiont definitely makes others (Benjamin) see that not all hosts are created equal, and some shouldn't have been hosts at all. Compare Verad's emptiness to what Ezri goes through, and how her affection for Benjamin and the crew and her understanding of them comes through so obviously even when she falters and makes mistakes. It is like night and day.

Been a while since I’ve drawn Symbiosis Phoenix. Kind of a redraw of the pic I use as my discord icon (unintentionally, it just ended being the same pose cause I wanted to show off his wings). Also first I’ve drawn him with the Magatama!

For a school project,i rebooted the comic Venom setting it into a dark fantasy world. Eddie is a cursed knight and he's in a journey to hunt demons along with Peter who is a sorcerer. The project consisted into a brief character design and two illustration which i decided to make an original and one based on the comic cover “separation anxiety”.

You know, because Julian was hosting a part of the Dax Symbiote, and then Jadzia took Torias back, I’m pretty positive Jadzia is aware that Julian has a giant secret because Torias no doubt got curious with Julian’s own memories and got blocked out when he almost hit the augmentation labs memories. But Jadzia being a kind and loving bestie doesn’t press Julian in the matter — it’s not her’s or Dax’s business. And when the secret comes out, she probably complimented Julian for keeping it a secret even to a Symbiote host and tells him that Torias is impressed.
