Hang on, the Mirrans have a demolition team? That they’re going to use as a backup plan in case the magical nuke bowl fails?
If the sylex fails it could destroy the entire plane! Would it not be safer for the demolition team to try destroying the tree first, and then if that fails they can use the sylex? What’s going on?

Itchy: Father, Is this really temporary?
Sylex (Synapse): Of course it is. You don't have to worry about it. It's only a mishap.
Sylex (Alex): You can trust us, Itchy! This guy -points to themselves- help us before!
Itchy: Uh...But you look like a monster.
Sylex (Synapse): Nonsense. Magus said it's a side effect of his project or for short, fusion. In fact, I was involved with it when he first started it and it's the same result but smaller.
Itchy: I see. But you're happy to be with this verigreen in your body?
Sylex (Synapse): Positive!
Man, this is the longest drawing I've done on Colors Live, So far.
Itchy, discovers in shock to see Sylex (A fusion of Alex and Synapse) who greet them with a hug. Itchy had also escaped the blast that Magus caused like Max and Kopius.
Fusion Katastrophe, my fan fic story is currently on hold, hopefully, I'll get back to it in November.

Sylex’s true colors! (I actually haven’t drawn them in color prior to today, I just kinda gave @emilyrosebug vague instructions of ‘indigo and orange with red eyes’ as a color guide LOL)
I designed them for Emily’s fanfic/AU, Fusion ‘Katastrophe’... as you could probably guess from their name, they’re a fusion of Synapse and Alex. I think they’re very wise, but also a bit eerie/frightening at times. Their wings are a bit flimsy, they feel like very rough, torn up flower petals. Their goggles are actually a second pair of eyes, but can be detached and moved around like regular goggles.

February was a very slow month for gaming, but that was ok after a really fast January.
However, March actually beat January like a rented mule!
Ok, actually, there were fewer games played in January, but more plays (because I played a few games so many times in January).
March was an awesome month with the Terminal City Tabletop Convention garnering a number of plays, plus some lunchtime…

AAAAAAAAAAA HOLY SHIT THIS IS MY FIRST EVER FULL-ON “WIN” AT SEALED
I think it went like 2-0, 2-0, 2-1, 0-2, 2-0. The only loss was against a really aggressive toxic/proliferate deck that I just barely couldn’t manage to hold my own against. Overall I think I got really lucky pulls and managed to build a super-synergistic strategy where no cards felt out of place. Kaito and the Gitaxian Raptors, in particular, consistently pulled a lot of weight.
#kaito definitely exceeded my expectations too. i figured he seemed solid but i was unsure he’d do well without building around the bounce#but he super did! and even though it’s subtler there’s still some synergies with (like restocking a creature’s oil counters)#also i’m kinda amazed i won r1g1 after opening a 1-lander‚ mulliganing into a 7-lander‚ and having to mulligan again grndjdnnddjdj#(oh and: yes. i DID get to kill someone by hitting them for 10 with filigree sylex. it was great)#magic: the gathering#prerelease#phyrexia all will be one#magic arena

October was a great month for new to me games!
That’s been a bit unusual lately, so I’m glad that this is back on the upswing.
