This chapter was excellent.
Between Millie’s trauma and grief making the veteran’s event hard for her every year, to this moment with Yor and her coworker using logic on these ladies to defending Millie and those who were kids during the war, and later when Melina stepped in with her comment about supporting each other vs. policing each other’s behaviors? I just ahh! This is one of the many things I love this series, the way Endo writes deeper moments, weaving in commentary about life, trauma, war, the aftermath of political conflicts, etc in a way that speaks to the events of the series and our world is just done so well.

We have a Yor chapter!!! Yeeeesss 🥰🥰🥰
The Authens are going to become reccurent characters. Yes!
And Yor is so adorable in basking the praise of being seen as Anya's mom.
Aw come on Yor.... You ARE Anya's mom!!
But I do get a feeling that with how things are going on: plan C, several time Anya jokes to exchange Yor with chef food, that one sided rivalry Anya is making, that ominous Anya's short chapter...
We might get an arc that solidify Anya and Yor mother daughter relationship.

But then again we have....
McMahoooonn!!!
Yes! It's truly been a while.
McMahon being here. And the speech he gave to Mille so that she doesn't shooting away her anger to wrong target.... could it be that we finally will have a Garden centric arc?? 👀👀
The on going background theme is strong in this chapter. That is, the horror of war.
And how it will also come with people who think they are the most right ones to brag about their pain.
Look at this.
These old ladies really have the audacity to boast about their pain and all, and demanding respect, while at the same time trampling on a young person feelings. 😤😤😤

Tbh, I was asthonised to see how Yor can retort in such a way??? The chill anger, being said in the most mature and chiling way??

I also didn't expect to have Millie Myers (she has a surname now!) The most cheerful one of the City Hall trio, to have such a trauma
Again, it aligned with the big theme thar war takes victims from everywhere.
On a light note, we have a cute Dominica (Dominic and Camilla) moments here.
Awwww Dominic is so cute. How can Camilla got this man, I wonder.
And last but not least.....
We see how fluent Melinda in taking control of people of any age, any social status.
She truly is showing off her nature as a very fluent politician here. 👀
One very powerful move coming from a very powerful character.
Is she good? Is she bad?
I really don't know. I can't trust Melinda. And this chapter making me doubt her even more. 👀
She might really become the big bad baddie in the future. Or maybe not.
Scary....... 👀👀👀
Anyway, such a wonderful chapter. I cannot guess where Endo will bring us with these build up chapters, but we are getting closer and closer to chapter 100. I guess Endo is cooking something big 👀

Anime only watchers and people who aren't caught up with the Manga, BEWARE... Cuz I'm about to discuss Spy X Family Mission 91... You have been warned...! 👌
[SPOILERS AHEAD FROM THIS POINT ON]
This chapter was very interesting and quite informative...!! 😲
And though I was not too feeling well this morning (and I still feel a little unwell now), I still wanna discuss today's chapter...! So let's talk about it, shall we? 😊
This chapter begins with Anya heading off to school and Yor going to an event that her city hall job is helping with... And before they head off, they greet the Authens...! 😊
And I just love that Anya calls Sigmund and Barbara "Grandpa Siggy and Granny Barb"...! 😆 It's both so adorable and continues their new found relationship from the previous chapter!! 🤗
And this might be a little off topic, but I've noticed that we haven't really seen Twilight go to work since the mole arc... 😲 I mean, it could just be that we aren't seeing him go to work, but this also makes me wonder if WISE actually gave him a break for once! 😅
Anyway, back to chapter...!! 😁
At the event, we see Yor's coworkers, Dominic (who we haven't seen since Mission 24 I believe, which was FOREVER AGO 😵) and even McMahon...!! 😁 The event is a charity event to help disabled veterans and the Lady Patriots Society is gonna be there... Hearing that, Yor remembers that Melinda is apart of that group:
Yor tells her coworkers that she's met Melinda and is even her friend, but they believe her and Dominic even suggests that she might not even show up. Then...:
We see that Millie has an issue with being here... But then, these ladies from the Lady Patriots Society started to butt in, even saying things like this:
This saddens me because I know that there are people that are like this in real life that belittle others because "they had it worse"... Though not everyone has suffered through the horrors of war, it doesn't mean that what they've been through is less painful...
After that, Millie shares her thoughts...:
...And those women start to berate her...:
But my girl Yor steps in to defend Millie...!:
Then one those horrible women were going to attack them, but Melinda steps in to stop her...!
Yor's coworkers see that Yor was telling the truth about her and Melinda being friends, but Millie gets upset by this... In Millie's eyes, since Melinda is the wife of Donovan Desmond, the man who started the war, then Yor is not a good person for being associated with her... But, McMahon refutes Millie's claims about Donovan...:
This is a very interesting development... 🤔 If memory serves me right, we've never truly gotten confirmation about how started the war, but we knew that Donovan was involved with it... I feel like there's something else going on here, but my brain is really jumbled up today from being sick to really think on about this development for to much...! 😩
Melinda then adds this:
Millie then apologizes to Melinda, and decides to stay and help out the event... Lastly, Millie thanks Yor for helping her out today and makes me hope that they'll become true friends in the future...!! 💗
And that was Mission 91, it made love Millie as a character more than before and even Melinda a little as well...!! 😄 This chapter was quite the serious one, so not that many funny moments time around, but that's what I love about this series...!! 🤗 Endo always seems to maintain a fantastic balance of serious and comedic moments in my opinion, that's why I feel that Spy X Family is unlike any other...!! 💗
I really wanted this review come out sooner, but I woke up feeling horrible... I know I don't have to release something about the new chapter on the day it comes out, but I have a bad habit of procrastinating projects, and these reviews are my way push out of that habit, by making myself write a review before it gets too late it the day...! I typically get mad at myself for missing the deadline that I set for myself, but since the next chapter comes out on Christmas Eve, I might postpone my review until Tuesday the 26th because Christmas is my favorite holiday, but we'll see...! 😉
Sorry for rambling about my personal stuff, but I'll see you all tomorrow when I talk about the anime because I should probably lay back down and try to feel better!! 😷 So until the next Mission, take care, be safe out there and be kind to one another...!! BYE!! 👋

Obviously there's a lot we can talk about with this chapter, namely protective!Yor being mvp as per always, standing up for herself as well as others (I am a human being) twat coworker #2 got a little bit of dimension, it seems Barbara and Sigmund are going to be at least semi-regular characters, not everyone in the Lady Patriots Society is as nice as the moms from the volleyball team ect.
But this is the one that excites me
Endo-sensei please, I beg of you don't take this away from me for another TEN months YEARS! Plan C or not I need to see Yor have REAL FRIENDS who LIKE AND SUPPORT HER

Un chapitre très intéressant sur comment la guerre a laissé des traces que ce soit envers les vétérans ou ceux qui ont attendu que leurs maris ou leurs pères reviennent et peu d'entre eux sont revenus. Millie a perdu son père et a du mal à rester travailler dans cette charité. Alors qu'elle est culpabilisé par les gens de la haute société pour dire qu'elle met sa souffrance en avant négligeant celle des autres. J'ai bien aimé l'intervention de Yor car elle est aussi victime de la guerre mais a décidé de devenir plus forte pour son frère car personne d'autre pouvait veiller sur elle et Yuri. Et j'aime bien le fait qu'on voit Melinda de manière plus positive, dans le sens oui elle a ses responsabilités en tant qu'épouse de Donovan mais elle a aussi sa famille. Ce qui la rend un peu plus nuancée après j'espère qu'on aura des moments entre elle et ses fils, je pense que c'est important pour elle mais aussi pour eux. D'ailleurs techniquement Loid est un vétéran lui aussi, je me demande si il va y aller ou pas car ça risque de lui rappeler de mauvais souvenirs.
A very interesting chapter on how the war left its mark, whether on veterans or those who waited for their husbands or fathers to return, and not many did. Millie has lost her father and finds it hard to stay working in this charity. At the same time, she is blamed by the upper classes for putting her own suffering first and neglecting that of others. I liked Yor's intervention because she too is a victim of war, but she decided to become stronger for her brother because no one else could look after her and Yuri. And I like the fact that we see Melinda in a more positive light, in the sense that yes, she has her responsibilities as Donovan's wife, but she also has her family. Which makes her a little more nuanced, and I hope we'll get some moments between her and her sons, because I think it's important for her, but also for them. Besides, technically Loid is a veteran too, so I wonder whether he'll go or not, as it might bring back some bad memories.

wow. just wow. today's new chapter was a rollercoaster of emotions... (spoilers below !!)
there was so much going on in ch 91, i was having a hard time keeping up with it 😅
but here are some of my main highlights!
1- BARBRA AND SIGMUND ARE BACK!!
the fact that anya called them "grandpa siggy" and "granny barb" just warmed my heart. the following panels also showed just how great anya's dynamic is with them- they're so precious <3
2- the veterans bazaar
i'm guessing that after dropping off anya at eden, yor headed to work at the bazaar. i wonder if this is going to tie in with loid at some point, because he is a veteran after all. we didn't see him at any point this chapter, which i find interesting.
3- millie and her character development
this just goes to show that even the side characters in spy x family get their moments to shine in the series, which i LOVE! especially because millie had a big part in this chapter.
4- the lady patriots
i guess this is melinda's group of... friends? helpers? i don't think they've been mentioned before in the series. melinda sure seems to have created a lot of groups- the eden moms' group (i forgot if there was a name or not) and now the lady patriots.
5- the big showdown
this scene just wrecked me. both millie and the others as well as the lady patriots are grieving and hurt by the war that plagues their country. ouch.
i was so glad yor stood up for millie at this part. the lady patriots have no right to call millie out for missing her dad in ways that they can't even understand. everyone in this series just has so much angst.
on a side note, i loved this panel, haha.
6- melinda
as a diehard damian stan, melinda's not my favorite character, that's for sure. but i did really like her appearance in this chapter.
you can tell how much the war- and her role in it- burdens her. but she handled the situation perfectly. i do have to say, whenever she appears, she gets some maaaaaajor character development.
7- this scene!!
such a typical yor moment. and loid's first appearence in the chapter! we haven't seen a lot of him, so i'm looking forward to what happens next!
