Okay, but..

Omega Steve post heat. He still has a fever, but he’s calmed so much now with the help from his Alpha, Billy.

Billy took such good care of him through it all and now- Now, they’re both perfectly content with laying naked in Steve’s nest made up on their king size bed.

A nest made up of Billy’s clothes for his scent, soft blankets and pillows that Steve scented preheat and some of Steve’s clothes too. All of it covered in their scents completely now.

Steve’s in his element and Billy is just grateful to have helped his boy get through it all. To see him blissed out and happily drunk on Alpha scent now. Fucked out and finally able to relax.

Splayed over Billy’s warm chest, while Billy slowly rubs a cold pack covered in a thin cloth up and down Steve’s back to keep him cool enough to lay there.

Steve’s face tucked close enough to Billy’s scent patch on his neck that he’ll get lungfuls of his scent every time he breathes in. Lets out little chirps and purrs every few minutes, which lets Billy know that Steve is perfectly happy.

They’re claimed to each other and there’s nothing that could make them both happier than this.

Photos I took of my pets as a child in the 90s

#it’s so hard to look at these photos #I’m hoping maybe putting them here will help me face the pain and trauma associated with them #I think it’s especially painful because they were all such sweethearts #actual angels who were so gentle and patient with baby me #if i could go back in time and save all of them I fucking would 😭#max the malamute 🖤#best boy in the world he was such a good dog #my cousins family gave me him as a puppy #the torties were named Romeo and Juliet (even tho they were both boys 🤣)#(yeah boy torties are from the same litter! idk what happened! 🤣)#Garfield was the orange cat (and mama to the torties)#best girl in the world so sweet. she was almost completely deaf and blind #German shepherd was buddy #sweet playful boy 🖤#I didn’t get to know him very well because he (all my pets did) lived with my dad and at that point I stopped going to his house a lot #bear was the rottie #sweet boy he died really tragically my dad loved animals but was fucking stupid sometimes #and the black puppy… also died really tragically. never even lived long enough to get a name.#some of these might be pushing into 00-4 maybe #the ones of buddy are probably from then because I’m pretty sure we got him while I was in middle school #I drafted this post a few months ago and honestly doing this + writing about them really did help me process my feelings towards them #so now I’m ready to share :)#I just love the idea of seeing the world through a child’s eyes #this is what little me thought was important! lol

Listen, I'm a simple girl, I see your Mountain I screech. I know you said it was only like the second time you drew him and I know your design for him has changed but he's always been so beautiful! Your Mountain is honestly my favorite, everything about him is just perfect.

Suddenly, a woman pushing a stroller passes on their right, her tiny tot giggling at a volume that pulls both of their attention; their limbs a flurry as they step back—the Southside having shaped them both.

This is part where Mickey’d clam up, take space, push away, but those demons are suspiciously silent, replaced with foolish notions of love and grandeur. Like he’d lose, just to watch Ian win.

He blushes, straightening his spine. “Alright, alright, I’m fucking starving.”
