It's August 2nd, which means the second part of Seeking Serenity, our Clexa Star Wars AU, is just two weeks away. While Tabby and I finish up the last of our edits, we thought we might finally share with you something we've been sitting on for...oh, at least a year now.

My autograph from Kathryn came today (Valentine's Day as well, how ironic, LIKE A VALENTINE'S GIFT TO HER PARTNER WHOM SHE DOESN'T KNOW EXISTS, AKA ME)

I saw the autograph in the corner of my eye before I opened it and just completely broke down, then when I finally opened it I screamed bloody murder and felt nauseous cause of how happy I was🥲

Operation: Oscar - The Epilogue

Okay, so it’s been almost a year since Operation: Oscar (in which I flew myself to NYC, went to a screening of The Card Counter, and saw a discussion with Paul Schrader and Oscar Isaac afterward. And then Oscar and I had a moment in the lobby, which will forever be known as the Lobby Incident. But I digress.)

Inside Llewyn Davis is legit one of my favorite movies. And a couple years ago @rosemarysbaby13 sent me this poster for my bday. And then this was like my favorite poster (...Poester? HAHAHA) but I never really did anything with it... until SWAU had their exclusive signing with Oscar Isaac and then I sent it in and now

🦹 - who is the main villain?

technically the Big villains are palpatine and vader- i have everything that’s going on in star wars Still Happening in basically the background of the main story. but the main antagonists that directly come into contact with the boys are oroku saki, aka the shredder to civilians, and foot lieutenant and brute (named louie and brutus), all of whom are inquisitors in this au. the foot clan is essentially a cult that worships these inquisitors specifically, and they are not affiliated with it.

inquisitors in star wars are former jedi who now hunt down other jedi survivors of order 66. louie and brutus' names actually won't be brought up much, if at all actually, because the inquisitors are all mostly called [number]th brother/sister. like fifth brother, seventh sister, etc. and i can't remember where i found this information so i'm not sure it's explicitly canon but it's how i'm doing it for this au: they're given a number when they kill their first jedi, just the next in sequence, with no ranking to it.

other antagonists are either lower-ranked non-sensitive members of the empire or other bounty hunters or pirates.

The Art of Defiance - Chapter 4

Part 2 of a Clexa Star Wars AU

Stubborn as ever and deeply upset, Clarke refuses to speak to Lexa despite her best efforts - and a particularly cute interruption. The silence drives Lexa to finally confide in a friend.

“He likes you,” Lexa chuckles, impressed. She kneels next to the dog, who somehow manages to remain heeled despite twisting every which way to try and slobber on Lexa’s hand as she searches for any kind of identity tags. “Quite a commotion you made, friend. Let’s see…” Clarke kneels down beside them and pats the top of the dog’s head, distracting him enough to allow Lexa to find a collar under all that fur. “I’m not usually a fan of animals, but this one’s not so bad.” Lexa chuckles. “Well, Anooba are a rambunctious breed. Charming, too. Not unlike yourself.” She stands back up and cups her hands around her mouth to yell, “We stopped Moose!” The crowd didn’t exactly resolidify in the Anooba’s wake, meaning the breathless Rodian who appears at the end of the lane needn’t demonstrate half as much agility as Moose had. She huffs and puffs her way over, slowing now that she’s seen her dog is no longer bounding freely through the marketplace.  “Moose!” she calls in Rodian, and the Anooba’s ears perk immediately in her direction. He stands up, wagging his tail, but lingers to push his head into Clarke’s palm. Lexa perks an eyebrow. “He really likes you.” “Yeah…I guess.” Moose gives Clarke one last, long lick up the inside of her arm before trotting back to his owner, unassuming as if he hadn’t just disrupted an entire marketplace. But Lexa only has eyes for Clarke, who stands slowly and looks at her the way she would have expected Moose to. Alert, a little helpless, and utterly lost. “I’m so confused,” she whispers, desperation evident in her voice. It takes everything in her not to gather Clarke up in her arms. “I never wanted this, and now it’s like I can’t get away from you.”

My Corey Burton autograph came in today! I ordered this back in April. I also ordered Dorian Kingis back in May and received it back in June!

If you see my knotted up blue hair and Lilo and Stitch pajamas reflected anywhere. No you don't 👁👄👁

(And please ignore the eyeliner on my nail along with my stumpy nails. Can't stand long nails, even if they're pretty.)

But (to my knowledge) these are the 2nd and 3rd Star Wars autographs I have received. The first one I got was my dad giving me a signed Darth Vader helmet by David Prowse that he owned before me. Guess I'm collecting the villains first.

I was going to just stick to my first name with these, but my first name is way too common and kinda defeats the whole purpose of a personalized autograph when I feel like anybody in my area could just own it 🤣 so last name it is.
