miss altivo only has one comic appearance and it is in ‘your latest trick,’ (thanks @strika-archyvez ), where she has a slightly different look (and if you didn’t know already, the host for the soccer island tv reality in the comic version of ‘live and kicking’ is actually a dude lmao). anyways, while i haven't read the comic version, she doesn’t seem to wear glasses here, plus she wears a necklace and has a mole near her bottom lip?? not sure why the show removed those tbh

Whelp, this didn't take long to finish. Time to round out my Supa Strikas takes with some much beloved side characters.
Nandi: Best. Sister. Ever. Rookie Season 2 needs to have her bonding with the other Strikas and embarrassing Shakes in front of them
Spenza: Elementary, my dear Shakes
Supa Fran: How every writer sees themselves while making contributions to the fandom. Come to think of it, she has pretty much every single tic most fandom writers claim so she should be totally relatable
Jean-Pierre: I know he's a giant a-hole to the team, but as someone who loves baking but is surrounded by Weight Watchers killjoys, I just have to sympathize with this man
Mrs. Altivo: Marc Zuckerburg's wine aunt
Spike Dawson: Is he a Joker or a Jigsaw parody? Also, why does Klaus not loathe this guy for hoarding strudel?
El Ariette: GIT OFF HIS LAWN
Ursula: I get the feeling she's always two seconds away from shanking someone
Ginerva: I don't care if she didn't say anything more than three consecutive words in the show. Her accent is amazing.
Skarra's Niece: I put her in the pile with Morgan Stark, in that she was present for 5 minutes of screen time, has basically no lines, and yet the fandom collectively goes gaga over her for literally no reason. Seriously, if I wanted Kids Who Say The Darndest Things, I'd go on TikTok.
Xing: See earlier take on Riano. I will not forgive Moonbug for not having her come back as a consultant for Sa Ming and giving her the character depth she deserves
Hack: See previous takes on Xing and Riano. The least they could have done was make him part of Spenza and Supa Fran's entourage in the later seasons
Attak: See previous... you know what, I'm not gonna continue like this. Just assume I hate Moonbug for conjuring up characters with great potential and then throwing them away after one episode
Kat/Foxy: The biggest mystery is how a guy like Skarra kept a lady like this in good standing long enough to call in a favor
Nanny Garcia: Can we get an episode where someone makes El Matador cry, and she shows up and beats the snot out of them with her carpet slippers? I really want authentic, angry, Abelita energy out of her.
And so ends my Supablr takes series (assuming Rookie Season or the main series doesn't continue). Fortunately, I have plenty more Supablr content waiting in the wings. Stay tuned.

"Seriously Shakes, I don't understand why I have to come with you?" It was the 5th time you asked the same thing. A few days ago there were the football awards ceremonies and Shakes and some of the most outstanding players were invited to a competition on Miss Aldivo Island. The only "problem" is that Shakes, for some reason, decided to bring you with him.
"Well, you're my very close friend, and I want you to enjoy this up close."
"That doesn't make any sense" Of course it doesn't, you're just a Supa Strikas employee.
"Stop whining, look, we're going to land already"
After landing, you and Shakes got up and went to pick up your luggage that was in one of the compartments. When they opened it, they were surprised to see El Matador inside…he wasn't invited…so they left him there and left.
You two arrive to the lobby, where you find all the guys who were invited.
Riano, Uber, Skarra, Liquido, some other guys (I don't remember their names), and... Miko.
Miko-Chen, a dear "friend" of yours, you could say, from Nakama FC. He approached you while the rest of the guys kept talking. Looking at him was kinda funny, considering he was slightly shorter than you.
"Hey ____, what a sulplise to see you hele." "Hello Miko, I had the option of staying for the BBQ at Rasta's house, but Shakes dragged me here."
"Well, I'm glad he did"
"Gentleman" A feminine voice suddenly interrupted you "and ____, didn't expect you here"
"Blame on Shakes, Altivo"
"Anyway, I'm offering something much more exciting than the usual" Altivo said appearing in the room "The challenge of a lifetime. An idyllic tropical island converted into the ultimate testing ground for the ultimate footballers. Dribbling, balance, stamina. This is your chance to test your skills against your greatest opponents. Then the last two standing will face off in the ultimate soccer showdown. A chance to find out which of you is truly the greatest player of your generation"
After some discussion, El Matador approached Miss Aldivo "Let's do this!" While she stopped him "I'm so sorry, El Matador, my tournament is for award winners only... You could go to the VIP lounge along with ____ who can't play too."
"That's perfectly fine with me," You said. "Wish you the best of luck, Miko" You whispered towards him.
"You got it"
While you were going to the VIP lounge along with El Matador, Miko cursed under his breath, not liking the fact of that Spanish flirty guy doing with you.
"I'm going to win this... fol you, ____"
You then arrived at the VIP room... but you lost El Matador on the way... Anyway, just then, you found out, all this madness was a reality show that was being broadcast on live television.
"This woman and her insatiable thirst for entertainment and money"
You stayed there watching the show, Uber was the first to be disqualified, and looking closely at Miko and his great agility. A moment later, Uber appeared in the same room as you and just sat to watch the rest of the show.
Then Skarra took out Liquido, "Most dishonorable" you heard Miko say. Liquido was now in the room with both of you.
Chuck was disqualified, along with Skarra. But Skarra didn't arrive at the VIP room, not like you minded.
The next level was an underwater one, which they were doing just fine, when suddenly, a water swirl appeared, almost absorbing most of the opponents along with Cosmo's guy and Miko.
"This has to be Skarra..." You thought.
Then Miko arrived at the room and changed into more comfy and dried clothes. Then he grabbed your wrist and pulled you out of the room, the others didn't even notice.
"Miko!"
He dragged you to a less secluded place, with a hand in your slim waist.
"What?"
"I don't like seeing you with a lot of guys neal..."
"Miko... Come on, let's get out then, not make a problem out of this"
"I'm solly fol... not winning"
"It's okay, let's get something to eat, then I'll be back to-"
"No. You won't be back to Stlika Land, you'le be going with me."

Episode idea’s for Nakama
So I was re-watching Supa Strikas and I was honestly annoyed with how little content there were for the Nakama boys outside of Ura Giri (even if he is the funniest couch). I understand that it’s probably because most of Nakama are good guys outside of there coach but it was still annoying.
But it did get me thinking about how episodes written about the boys could work.
-Shakes gets transferred to Nakama for an event (charity or something to do with Ms. Altivo) There we get to see how they train, get a proper introduction to the team and have some Shakes (and Miko lets be real) vs Ura Giri moments.
-Miko (or one of the other players) finds a way to stop/counter Twisting Tiger’s spin. It can bring his past with the team back as a plot point and give Tiger more screen time to.
- Kendo (the goalie) vs Big Bo. I love Spike but I need other Big Bo content. Plus they seem to have different styles and I can see a small rivalry between the two.
- A special episode just focusing on Nakama, maybe them facing off against Barka or Grimm. Just to be different.
-Nakama gets a new coach and Ura Giri askes coach to help him get his job back

More Supa Strikas updates from no. 1 El Matador stan.
I watched El Matador Finds Himself the other day and god, what a dumb episode. I absolutely loved it, of course. But god. My child's ego is so big and so fragile. I also love that it's canon he brings his hairdryer everywhere? ... I guess that's why his hair always looks that good.
Also different episode. But El Matador winning the stupid soccer island reality show, even though he wasn't even competing? fucking legend. I knew it was going to happen since he kept popping up everywhere in search for the VIP lounge, but still. But I'm very proud of all my children (except Skarra) for playing fair and even supporting each other. Though Chuck, my sweet summer child, you really shouldn't trust Skarra.
On another note, I really love Grimm FC for no real reason. The players haven't really gotten screentime. And usually when they're in an episode it's because of Spike Dawson. But I love them so much. They're just there to play football and be spooky and I love that for them.

i am very much proud of my children as well! except skarra, that brat needs some punishment later especially after what he did to my baby boi chuck who trusted him! he eliminated my baby boi and tried to do so with shakes as well! god what a bastard, if i didnt like him, i would not hesitate that bitch 😤😤 well, i will not hesitate regardless whether i like him or not but still!!!

@abyss-strikas and i thought of some headcanons for erasyl that actually involves some of abyss's ocs!
erasyl was born in kazakhstan; was an orphan
erasyl was adopted by british couple seymour jr. and jack mcarthur when he was 7 years old (hence erasyl's surname being mcarthur)
this means that he is the cousin of oliver mcarthur, on the dad's side (seymour jr. and oliver's father lucius are twins brothers)
erasyl and oliver are four years apart, with oliver being the other cousin
during the events of the episode 'live and kicking,' erasyl was 27
eventually after being fired, erasyl went on to become one of the writers for a talk show whose host was determined to outrank altivo entertainment (said host is my oc, stay tuned for the reveal)
p.s. — erasyl is pretty much a nameless character who appeared in the episode for like ten seconds lol, but honestly he deserves a post; while erasyl’s name is my headcanon, his surname is from abyss’s ocs’ surname :))

hello folks! my interest in supa strikas has suddenly re-emerged and while i’m not sure why, i’m actually living for this! a few years ago, i used to be super active with my own strika ocs (who are future gen btw so think supa strikas players being retired lmao). unfortunately i fell out for a while and they sorta became non-football ocs. i do miss them however, so hopefully i can come around fleshing out their details as supa strikas ocs once again (uni life beating me up lol).

In Supa Strikas, A LOT of the background characters, and non-main characters in general, 90% of the time have really unique designs, a lot better than the main characters I must say 🥱 like colour palettes for example
BUT Super League players-wise… mainly counting the main ones (in no particular order)
Dooma’s haircut is soooo sick
Shane Fin’s tiny cute beads or braids lol,,, and his long hair of course ( @gastaticn ;])
Inyo’s whole design just because- (I guess it’s her being mysterious)
Blade from Rookie Season hehe, it’s the mullet
Ms Altivo with the grey streak (that shit is everything)
I guess everybody in Grimm FC,, like literally a halloween team
Max Power (twins) is honestly debatable, aside the fact that they are my favs, but i say debatable because he’s kinda a generic ginger man, but at the same i am biased towards them
