an au where ed has amnesia/has lost his memory of stede for reasons before they reunite but instead of any angst or drama he's just really into stede just, imagine it:

ed voice: who's the hottie

stede voice: oh no he's found someone else

ed voice: no mate i was talking to you. come here often hot stuff?

just imagine the comedy of everyone being like what the fuck, but also, the heartwarming moment stede has when he realizes ed is in fact, terribly attracted to him at all times
