Hello, rather sorry to bother you, but do you know why sugarquill.net is not functioning? Or is it just me? I wanted to reread the pre HBP essay on why Ginny is the best romantic interest for Harry

It's never a bother! I wish I could help you out! I don't know why sugerquill has stopped functioning, but my guess would be that they stopped paying for the website?

Does anyone have any further information or where the above essay might be?

🚗 CAR — does your oc have a driver's license? can they drive/operate any automobiles/machinery besides cars?

Nick, Maria, Jacari, Amy, and Kanta are the only kids in the story with a driver's licensee, and Amy can operate helicopters and planes!

As for driving habits--Nick drives with one arm out the window and Kanta drives a motorcycle often Improperly because they do not follow laws

BTW I am old and I used to be in the HP Fandom and I was one of the people who actually knew Ms Scribe. Here's a funny story: she saw me arguing with a close friend over IRL politics in my LJ and told us we shouldn't argue like that because friends were too precious to lose. Meanwhile she was playing "Let's You and Him Fight" with me, who ran Nox et Lumos, and Arabella, the person who ran the Sugarquill site.

I also was the person who found and told the CEO of SixApart that their abuse department had gone off their rockers, and that roleplay journals, lolita fashion journals, etc were being taken down during the 2007 Strikethrough purge on Livejournal.

I am so upset that I missed out on Msscribe because I was in anime fandoms at the time, not Harry Potter! 😭😭

i was peripherally watching that happen at the time. i was like 13-14 and was on sugarquill during all this so i saw the statements from arabella and zsenya and frequented fictionalley so i was aware of cassandra clare. i had even read some of her stuff and the draco trilogy was very well known.

i was also well aware of cassandra clare's plagiarism. it still astounds me she managed to avoid the repercussions of that. like, it wasn't just joss wheadon quotes she tried to pass off as easter eggs but pamela dean. she became a published author with a movie and tv show based off her works and has had numerous other ya authros defend her.
