In the picture, you can see a rare Russian icon painted circa 1800. Its rarity lies in the figures it depicts. The thing is that an anonymous icon painter depicted Saint George, the Archangel Michael, the Prophet Elijah, and Saint Tryphon, all in one icon, which was not usual for the iconography of the period. Each figure bears a considerable historical and religious significance, though the connection between the four is open to interpretation.

Along with it being Arizona Statehood Day, of course, today is also the feast date in the Orthodox Church for St. Tryphon the Pruner, the patron saint of those who work in the vineyard, cellar, or tasting room. There's not a whole lot known about him, other than he was one of the many Christians martyred during the prosecutions under Diocletian, but he's especially popular in Bulgaria.
