Cuddling - A Stonargyle Fic
Steve and Argyle were proud of their idea. Ever since Nancy broke up with Jonathan he’s been a mess. Argyle convinced him to hang out, Jonathan was skeptical considering it would be at Steve’s house. Considering the fact they used to be rivals that fell in love with the same girl, Jonathan didn’t know how well it would go.
He was convinced at the promise of weed and a movie. When Jonathan got there however, Steve rearranged his entire living room so that there was a mattress and a bunch of pillows in front of the TV. Steve was surprisingly, by Jonathan’s standards, excited to see the both of them. Jonathan knew Argyle was friendly with everyone, but he never would have guessed Argyle and Steve would grow so close.
“I heard what happened with Nancy and I’m really sorry man.”
“‘S okay,” but it wasn’t okay, Jonathan was devastated that he lost his first girlfriend, the first person he ever felt loved him in such a way.
Steve made some popcorn while Argyle chose a movie out of Steve’s collection.
“Brochacho I hate to say it, but you have some trash taste in cinema my dude,” Argyle called to Steve.
“Oh yeah? What makes you say that?” Steve said as he walked back into the living room, carrying a huge bowl of popcorn.
“You own the movie Grease, that was the downfall of our modern society!” Argyle stated.
“You like Grease enough to own it?” Jonathan laughed lightly as he looked up at Steve, who was still standing.
“What’s a good movie by your high and mighty standards?” Steve asked as he sat down, a bit closer to Jonathan than he would have expected.
“My opinion doesn’t matter any longer my dudes, Jonny boy, you pick something.”
Jonathan felt his face heat up and he mumbled, “Anything is fine.”
“The best options we got are The Shining and Back To The Future.”
“I also have E.T.,” Steve said through a mouthful of popcorn.
“Yeah well that scared the shit out of me my dude, especially when E.T. is dying and stuff man.”
The trio eventually decided Back To The Future would be the best option, it was one of Steve’s favorites, Argyle liked it as long as he didn’t think too much about it, and Jonathan hadn’t seen it. Jonathan figured if it was good he might show it to Will and El.
Argyle started the movie and sat on the other side of Jonathan. The three smoked and watched the movie, Argyle and Steve mostly laughed at it, occasionally giving their theories about it.
In a blissful, but stoned out of his mind state Steve put his head on Jonathan’s shoulder and cuddled up to him as closely as he could. Jonathan felt his heart racing so fast he felt like he was going to have a heart attack.
Argyle put his arm around Jonathan, and since Steve was so close Argyle put his arm around him as well. Jonathan melted at the touch, leaning against Argyle and letting Steve lay on him. It was the most comfortable he ever was.
He never wanted the moment to end.
