Rewatching the series (for the third time lol) and the fact that the only absolutely genuine smile that we see from Coop (post-ghoulification) is after he stimpaks CX404 and sees that she’s ok is sending me 🥹❤️

So, I decided to make a charm bracelet, a charm necklace, and some earrings with items from the Fallout games. I bought some STLs from Modiphius and modified them to have loops.

I printed most of them on Shapeways in either Smooth Fine Detail Plastic or Clear Ultra Fine Detail Plastic, which is sort of translucent. Most of the charms were fine, but the Stimpaks were a bit weak, and one broke at the "neck". So, I reprinted the Stimpaks in a bunch of materials: White Processed Versatile Plastic, Gray PA12, and Natural Polypropylene (MJF). I somehow ended up with a bunch of extras? One of them came in a cage. I broke it out of the cage.

I tested how they would dye with some red synthetic RIT dye.

I decided to use the two semi-translucent ones for earrings, because I am hoping that the earrings won't have to deal with too much force. I decided to use two of the rubber-like ones for the bracelet and necklace.

I painted them up and assembled it all.

I have five leftover Stimpak charms. I thiiiiink @bokatan was interested in those? (Terribly sorry to bother you, if not.) Anyway, if I don't have any friends who want to call dibs on the spare charms, I might make them into something for Wasteland Weekend. We'll see.

When he was a kid, everyone would turn to him to give blood transfusions whenever someone was hurt, but even though Lucy tried as hard as she could, she was still a child, and they were still living in a cave in the wasteland.

MacCready’s blood would end up on the floor, a new grave would be dug, and MacCready assumed he only felt so sick because he had lost another kid, but when Lucy had to give him stitches one day after being stupid, he found himself sweating, nauseous at the glint of thin silver anywhere near him, already steeling himself for another undue death that he and his blood should have been able to prevent.

kaj thinks that people hate what they don't understand, and they definitely don't understand this woman--admittedly, kaj doesn't entirely either, but she's minding her business about it. unlike the trader ahead. he's currently giving the woman in front of kaj a hard time for her looks, loudly refusing to serve her despite the fact that no one else is around to hear him. kaj's eyes narrow: in recognition of an opportunity, but also in annoyance. as if a massive woman with horns and a temper is the oddest thing in the wasteland. the woman's clearly got caps and is in dire need of a few stimpaks, judging from her bloodied appearance, so what's it matter how she looks?

but then again, kaj knows what it matters. the trader's decided this woman is different, and that makes her wrong, in his eyes.

sensing a situation that's about to blow up in everyone's face, kaj slips between the two of them, puts her own swollen bag of caps on the trader's pop-up table. "quit your hollerin'. i'll pay for her." usually sickly sweet, kaj's voice is no nonsense in the face of discrimination, and she fixes the trader with a hard stare. it doesn't bother kaj that this woman is a stranger to her--she's got her sights set on the disgruntled merchant. "or i'll take my business elsewhere, if my caps aren't good either. i'll tell my ncr buddies to take theirs elsewhere, too." the threat of losing ncr business makes the trader balk, and he hands the stimpaks across, grumbling to himself.

kaj turns her head to look at the woman, her expression still firm, but not as harsh. "you needin' anything else from him?"

The fallout tv show works because I see the abandoned and desolate buildings and environments and want to explore them. I just know there's some good loot at the bottom of that rad lake.
