Sometimes I see posts about how "I, Strahd" Tatyana has the personality of a cardboard but I don't think I agree honestly.
We only see her in very few scenes (all from Strahd's POV) and she's always very gentle and soft spoken.
Which makes completely sense since she was a lowborn orphan trying to make a good impression on her future brother in law, who is not only the ruler of the valley but also a feared war criminal. Of course she would try to be as nice as possible in front of him.
I also think that Strahd was extremely genuine in thinking he was in love with Tatyana, it's just that he never really knew her the way Sergei did. He only knew a facet.

Do you think Gortash bullies Cas for how dumb he is?? I just think it may be very funny as an endless "ur ugly/fat" vs "ur stupid" war.
Like you know
*Gort takes some snacks*
Cas: Ahahha you can't even survive an hour without it, can ya?
Gort: Well at least I can count without my fingers.
Cas: Oh really? Maybe try it with your calories
PLEASQEUQUUQUQUQ ok let me just say. Cas isn't dumb PLEASE like yes Gortash probably sees him as dumber than himself because he's arrogant as hell about his inventions and shit but i do nawt think Gortash deals with actual stupid people at all
however. that dialogue floored me. actually crying. replace it with "count to 100" and I'll buy it. They would say this thank u 4 sharing😭😭

i know people say now that the old soul comment you may have heard a lot growing up was actually about trauma or being seen as mature when you were actually troubled in some way - and theres a truth to that, but i think theres also a truth to just genuinely having an old soul...and when you have an old soul aging means you align into your truth better

hi!! sorry if this has been asked before, but can I ask how you got the inspiration for the setting of greenwarden? I'm from a tiny town in central appalachia and it's so fun to read smth with such a familiar setting :p thanks!!
Warden, WV is heavily inspired by my hometown! Up to and including an almost one-for-one recreation of our 200 year old covered bridge.
Much like Warden most of town is across the bridge, up against the mountainside. Especially in recent years, there's been a couple ways in and people living across the river (you can see another bridge and even an overpass in the picture below), but I liked the idea of Warden being kind of a liminal space. Somewhere you can only access by going through a place that's dark and foreboding and ancient.
Other inspos include X Files, David Paulides' Missing 411 and the popular Stairs in the Woods/Park Ranger AMA creepypasta lmao.
Initially it was going to be way more rural fantasy/American Gothic-esque, with the main character being a hermit defending their homestead from Anomalies and cultists, but I went with more of an X Files bend. I thought it'd make for a more interesting, character-driven story. :]

Maybe you’re following the wrong people. My dashboard has been filled with support all day, it was refreshing to see.
it’s nice to hear that your dashboard is filled with support but yeah maybe you’re right anon. i wish i could figure out who is just simply ignoring this shit but i don’t have the energy or patience rn to hunt down who isn’t doing shit and staying silent. i don’t wanna assume that someone isn’t doing something on here and they’re literally in the streets protesting so i hope that whoever is intentionally silent about this and believe in the “two-sides nuance” or other zionist propaganda shit to just know that y’all are going straight to hell. but im grateful for my moots who have been vocal more than once rather than one reblog and then done.

"Freddie, is it true that the song I want to break free is dedicated to the gay?"
"Noo not at all, not at all! *frowns and shakes his head* That song... Let's start over, the song has been written by John Deacon, and -well- he's a happily married man you know, with about four children. I don't think that's where he got the message, it's got nothing to do with gay people at all. It's basically just about everybody... Somebody who has a very top life and he just wants to break free from whatever problems he's got. It's got nothing to do with the gay thing, besides it's not my song anyway, John wrote it."
Interview with Gloria Maria at Copacabana, January 1985

I’m just glad Rose ended up with a version of Ten. If it was any other Doctor I’d have been so pissed.
