I’m TIREDDDD of hearing people complain about the whole “new South Park fan” phenomenon!! Because if they aren’t hurting or harassing anyone WHO CARES??? IT’S NOT THAT SERIOUS. 

I have been in this fandom FOR YEARS. And the whole POINT of South Park is that it’s RELEVANT. THERE ARE GOING TO BE FANS THAT ARE PART OF THE “CHRONICALLY ONLINE” TIKTOK GENERATION BECAUSE THE CONTENT IN AND OF ITSELF CATERS TO THEM. Who CARES if they only enjoy shipping content or cringe headcanons or whatever?? Some kid that’s new to the fandom posting their Kenjorine ship art is going to change nothing about the show. Matt and Trey have much better things to do and are much more successful than you and I will ever be.

You think that kid’s self-insert OC is cringe? Have you forgotten who the MAIN CHARACTERS of the show are? As much as the fans hated the Tegridy Farms era, the show itself pokes fun at how it was made for the enjoyment of the creators. How is that any different than what these “new South Park fans” are doing? 

TL;DR: Let kids have fun. South Park has so many colorful and fun characters that it draws in infinite possibilities for fan creations. If you don’t like it, just scroll past and watch some old episodes. Consume what you want to consume, and leave others be.
