the nurses~
head nurse: Elijah Volkov, he makes all the announcements, and is mentally decaying. Boy oh boy, is he quite the man. Silly little bpd man, collected mental illness like Pokémon. But he's caring, and will do just about anything in his power to help the campers out when needed. He has a knack for elephants, likes sharing fun facts, not only about elephants but anything and everything. No filter😋 if he's thinking it, he'll say it, obviously nothing bad will come of that. Trust issues, yummy.
assistant nurse: Adam Uptin, always carrying snacks with him, he can get you to share how your parents wronged you then shove a bag of skittles in your hand and walk away. Adam isn't a fan of leaving the nurses cabin, let alone his side office, something about being a vampire and ""ahhhh the suns"",,etc etc. Although, you can lore him outside with some sunscreen, an umbrella, and an apple.
camp counselors (all camps stay the same)
Cabin Dung Beetle: Juniper Sloan. long neck, dirty blonde. British man, he's scared of the water (blah blah blah "i'm experiencing the past, present, and future all at once and i can't breathe." yadda yadda yadda) besides the meltdowns and break downs, he's pretty silly
Cabin Grasshopper : Marisol Yuchengco, 👁️dresses in gothic attire, but she's one of the most understating counselors you'll ever meet. Salem de La Marnierre, 👁️scene kid vibes, lowkey really chill though. The two are dating<3 (basically just the same as chnt, just,,, ya'know,, swapped.)
Cabin Magpie Moth: Rowan Chow, the goofiest mother fucker in the entire camp. He can actually produce sound effects, he doesnt choose them or when they happen, that's up to the universe, they just come from his general area. This man runs off of actual cartoon logic, dont question it.<3
Cabin Silkworm: Yvonne Marley, femcel. That is truly all i have to say about her. She pull's misinformation straight from the internet and spreads it like mold on moist bread. Joshua MacHeath, tictok eboy, he can make a killer flower necklace though. Joshua will sit with the kids who can't/won't participate in certain camp activities and teach them how to make bracelets out of, well, anything and everything!
Cabin Tarantula Hawk: Lucille Bertuccelli,👁️ she's an older counselor, a sweetheart though. Not only does she keep cabin tarantula hawk up am running, but she also is in charge of the arts and crafts cabin! Gracie Liu (👁️lowkey, i forgot gracie liu existed, so all of her color are just inverted. no matter how you picture her in ur brain, just invert the colors)
Cabin Ladybug : Soren Baltimore, 👁️a bit of a quiet lad, it wears a cape given to it by fennel. soren wears pants that are cover completely in pockets, those pockets are practically infinite, anything you can imagine, soren has it in its pockets. Fennel Marlborough, 👁️our favorite camp taxidermist (don't tell anyone) they have the art of life preservation down to a tea, now if they can only get em to start moving again. soren and fennel are tightly nit, they made up two languages, one between only them and the other for the entire cabin.
Cabin Widow-spider: Matthew Napoleon, 👁️he is the void, don't be scared of him just based on looks though. Matthew will teach you about things you thought you knew (you didn't). Because matthew cant actually talk, due to all that void, he communicates in a fun mixture of sign language, charades, and various static esc noises. Matthew is also involved, if not running, most water based activities (and sometimes juno+mila helps out around the cabin)
the cafeteria: Mila Alcorn 👁️and Juno Matsouka, 👁️i say "and" instead of giving the two separate descriptions because they are inseparable, trust me, i've tried. these two fish folk work together in the kitchen to provide food for all the campers at camp this and that. Practically gourmet chefs, these two are quite creative. Even though there's two of them, you'll never have to worry about chaos in the kitchen, mila and juno always compromise with each other, causing for some never before tasted flavors
special doodads
head of camp: Warren Earthman,👁️ he's a, stern, tired, grumpy, old man. also the walls in are covered with different brands and types of chainsaws. beside the threatening aspects of him, he also openly picks favorites and doesn't listen to anything that doesn't openly concern him or the government.
the rot: Sydney October Sargent, a weird rotting man who lives in the woods surrounding the camp. Don't get to close to him without a gas mask, please, the spores that emanate off of him are damn near hallucinogenic. Besides the skin falling off his bones, the various species of bugs living within him, and all the mushrooms/fungus living from his decomposing self, he's almost harmless. I mean, he's in shambles, a corpse who just won't let go, just try not to breathe near him.
Martime: Jedidiah A.M. Martime, a man who keep appearing in my dreams, I don't have dreams often, why is here, in color no less. this annoying, clock obsessed, not even real, man keeps trying to tell me that he's "here for you," and "it's ok, you can take a brake, you have enough time." what that man needs to do is pipe down and accept the fact he doesn't even exist in the physical plane.

like no im completely fine if some fucking person i dont know's lotr fic based on the little mermaid ends up with a shitton of lore and the characters have setting exclusive backstories and don't really resemble their canon selves like. that shouldn't bother you ppl playing with fictional characters like dolls shouldn't fill you with rage. fucking frodo baggins isn't going to fucking sue OP for defamation of character because hes a little make pretend guy.
idk why ppl headcanoning spider man likes taylor swift makes you so mad like. repeat to yourself "its just a show i should really just relax" and block op its not the end of the world.
but like that being said sometimes you do make an oc whos just a headcanon that breached containment

Whelp I've done it. Just finished Witch Hunt which now marks the end of my Dragon: Age Origins run. 10/10 would recommend. Especially Awakening and Witch Hunt DLC.
And y'know what? Witch Hunt was worth it for this moment. A fitting end for my Warden. Reunited with his love (and baby mama) and peaces out of work and responsibilities via magic mirror. Just look at that face. I think this is honestly the first time I've seen my Warden-Commander smile in a LONG time. Poor guy.
Minor DA2 rant below cut;
Actually I finished it awhile ago but had been procrastinating by replaying Awakening.
Because uggghhhhhh... I don't want to play DA2.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I'll grow to love Hawke again but right now my mood is just... meh. Replaying Origins and all its DLCs just made the differences in quality and content between the two all the more jarring. Aaaand on a more personal level -- I don't want to stop being a Grey Warden. ಥ_ಥ
For the last near 150 hours, I was sold on being a Grey Warden. In fact, I think my best fun was Awakening where I actually got to BE a Grey Warden doing Grey Warden things WITH OTHER GREY WARDENS. We ALL drank the nasty juice! It was a bonding experience! This game spent so much time building up the lore and excitement of being a Grey Warden -- leaving so many unanswered questions about the Taint, the Blight, what it all means, dO wE GET griFFONs -- only to just... drop it all in DA2.
I'm just so confused by the direction DA2 went. Replaying Origins with the knowledge of the upcoming mage/templar plot in DA2, the conflict in Origins felt... minor. Sure we get hints here and there that things are Kinda Bad. But nothing major. Heck, I played a Circle Mage as my Origin and I never felt that 'Oh wow, mage rebellion should totally be Main Focus of the next game!' Like don't get me wrong, mage/templar conflict is 😌👌but the Darkspawn and Grey Wardens was what set Dragon Age apart from other fantasy.
"Well the Blight's over Carrinth, there's no more story to tell about Grey Wardens" you say. And yet, Awakening did a fantastic job of making an entire campaign post-Blight.
Part of me feels like if they didn't want to keep the Main Character the same (ala Mass Effect with Cmdr Shepard) then couldn't they have still made the DA2 MC a grey warden? Like a junior(?) Warden that's investigating Corypheus or whatever in Kirkwall but gets caught in the mage/templar mess. Sure we would have gotten a very different story but would that have been so bad?
In the end, I will likely end up playing DA2, if only for the excellent companions and to reunite with my Sad Mage and Angry Spirit Husbands. But at the moment... *sigh*
So goodbye Marzel Amell. You were the best Warden-Commander and I had fun throwing Storm of the Century on fools, flexing my maxed out Coercion, and painstakingly working out TACTICS. I will probably still keep stubbornly drawing Awakening fanart (because I am Not Normal about those idiots) but DA2 stuff will likely eventually bleed in. ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

Because I don’t wanna write still, I have decided to list the chaos quartet in strength. Then their abilities (without giving away a huge lore thing), and their weaknesses (w/o giving away a huge lore thing).
Without further ado.
Blue is the weakest, obviously, as he has no unique powers, despite the fact he holds three other fucks in his mind, and can let them take charge. Another thing I just remembered, he has a higher resistance to being corrupted due to lore (laughs in “he still gets corrupted anyways lmao”)
His weaknesses are pretty much the same as a standard human, same with his strengths.
Spirit is next, he does have a slight buff in strength when he’s trapped in Hating Sim, but that’s only because he can use the game’s code/system to his advantage. Outside of that, he has the ability to stretch out his limbs far past their visual length and create two other, disfigured, spider-like limbs from his back that he can also shoot out far past their visual length. He can alter his form every now and then to permanently be something different (I.e, when he switches from his “pink blob” form to a “pink Senpai” form to his final “pink Sebastian” form), though it takes a lot out of him- hence why he can’t do it frequently. He can float, though it’s only when he trades his legs for a “ghost-like” whisp. Also, as a spirit, he can possess people and objects- however that is practically void as he is permanently stuck with Blue.
His main weakness is the Ghostbusters. All jokes aside, inside the Hating Sim, Glitch is the only being who is stronger than him, due to Glitch’s advanced abilities with code, and just his corrupted nature. Outside of Hating Sim, anyone who is faster and stronger than him, or just flat-out a demon or Angel, is stronger than him. So yes, Sophie is stronger than Spirit. Besides that, he doesn’t really have any weaknesses that isn’t a joke or just plain obvious. He’s dead, he can do that.
C is next. As a being of pure corruption, he can corrupt others through either physical contact (the primary way) or by insulting, berating, or just generally talking down to someone (secondary/assist way). He can also create/use illusions to assist in corrupting someone as it lowers others morale- depending on what illusions he creates. He- similar to Corrupted Sophie- can extend four “tentacle-like” limbs from his back. Something unique to him is being able to “crack” living beings until they explode. Essentially- if he has any sort of physical contact with someone, he can start making their skin “crack” like glass, allowing a black substance to leak from it, before the person shatters once they crack enough. It is stupidly painful and does leave scars if C is unsuccessful in killing them or he does it as torture.
He can regenerate/rapid heal*. The asterisk is because- if you noticed in recent art I’ve drawn of him, he noticeably has a missing eye and hand. He- and other corrupted beings- can heal minor injuries. Any life-threatening or generally major injuries can’t be healed without completely draining the corruption from their being (for example- y’all know how CPico has a blood splatter on the side of his head that suggests he tried to kill himself via gun? Minor spoiler for this, but he does manage to do so when against Darnell and Nene, but as he shot on the corrupted side of his head, the corruption on him instinctively tried to heal it, and did- saving him and bringing him back- though it resulted in him becoming uncorrupted). C can also hide in the shadows, due to his dark body. He can also see in the dark. He also has a heightened sense of strength and speed.
Now for weaknesses. All corrupted beings are weak to fire. Why? Idk I just felt like it. All corrupted beings are also weak to light-based powers, like Angelic powers, especially because they are demonic in nature. Positivity and happy shit does weaken him, because the whole “lmao ur trash” shit he does to corrupt others (this weakness is also the same for other corrupted beings). Bright lights shone directly into his face/eyes hurts because of his night vision.
Lastly is Soul. He is the strongest of the four, and by far the most dangerous. I am not joking. There are a lot of things that Soul can do that I can’t talk about right now, due to
L O R E
it will take *literally the whole fucking fanfic* before I can talk about it. Though- I might talk about it earlier if I feel like it’s a good time- though it will be a lot later than y’all are gonna want lmao.
With that out of the way, here are the very few things Soul can do that I CAN talk about.
Soul can manipulate other’s emotions *ever so slightly*, see in the dark, teleport to places he can see (he can also teleport others, but he has to go with them and touch them), fly, and dim his glow to hide in shadows. He also has a very heightened sense of strength and speed, which makes him physically stronger and faster than Spirit and C as well.
His weaknesses are being in confined spaces, as being unable to see the outside of where he’s stuck, and/or having no space to move, he can’t teleport outside of where he’s stuck. Bright lights shone directly in his face/eyes because of his night vision. He *does* have a weakness to light magic like angelic powers too.
And that’s it for them. I like explaining the goobers and how they function. I’m gonna be honest, I’m both excited and nervous about how y’all will react to the hidden lore stuff about Blue, Soul, and even Pico. *Especially* Soul since he actually is a combination of *three-ish* hidden lore things.
I’ll try to hurry the fuck up with this arc and get to the corruption segment (which will have a slightly faster pacing compared to this arc) so that I can write Soul and Spirit and develop them more as characters :p
I need to actually write and get past Hating Sim’s final chapter, the Winter chapters, and *maybe* week 7’s chapters, tho I’m thinking about omitting that week from this fic due to the fact idk how to write it across *three chapters-*. Weekend 1 won’t be included at all due to how I’ve written Nene and Darnell’s relationship to Blue being vastly different from canon them, plus this arc is solely in Blue’s POV.

hehehe i just got reminded of the cod oc thing and very recently me and my friend started making ocs for it!!
mine is called lucas :) he doesn't have any callsigns yet or a surname (because im bad at thinking those out shhhh) but he's a k-9 handler and an infiltration specialist and it's so fun thinking out characters and the lore
the tough part is actually remembering to write down the lore

I love love love a good k-9 handler and you know who would also love it? Ghost 🧎🏻♂️ ghost who literally uses Riley as an excuse just to see you, who receives funny looks as he enters your training room because everyone knows he has no reason to be here, ghost who will ask silly dressing questions because he doesn’t know how to talk to the handler he’s crushing on
Also I love it too!! Especially when it comes to Spider-Man ocs where ppl include their culture into it and give background info on how they got bitten what powers they get how their universe looks like etc 🫶🏻

No cuz imagen at the years earlier of the spider HQ, miguel fighting an doc ock from another universe who went fuck around and find out into other worlds, and there he goes basically beating the crap outta ock but what migs doesn't know is that this ock is LETTING him throw punches because he's studying him. He already got a taste of the other spiders but something about migs intreagues him
So by a quick swift, ock takes the oportunity to gather some of migs DNA by using one if his robo tentacles, making sure to save as much of migs blood on the blade as possible as he gets dragged back to his universe, trying his best to not show his smirk of victory as he appears now in a familiar building.
Later on after a few months of non resting trial en error by and Itzel is born, by far ock's most greatest creation. And so he holds the infant in his arms, already showing her biological's father features but shown much softer looking. He knows that his world is not one to include a child on so what does he do?
He leaves her by the orphanage closes to the city, although still far away from his hideout. Why? Because he wants to know, to study how her behaviour will develop, to see if she becomes as ruthless as her father is in battle. To see if his new lil soilder does as he hopes, strong, agile, fast, powerful
The little girl whose existence was not supose to cohexist but somehow destined to become the next generation of mutant spider...ironic how the world works doesn't it?

Every other characters always in for funsies and them serving some purpose and not an empty introduction too I SEE WHAYS UP🤨✨(or maybe I'm just over overthinking everything- who knows)
Btw- I love Nuwa and Bolin- ur characters seem so realistic that you've brought them to life- (how long have you been writing??)
Syntax as a character- with only 5 minutes of screen time displayed about him. You took that shit and said- bet 🤨 AND PORTRAYED HIM WITH MORE EMOTION AND WITH REASONS TO BAVK IT UP HIS BEHAVIOR. ANITHER CHARACTER! THE MAYOR ಥvಥ - HES FUCKING SCARY BRO - even I was holding my breath while reading the tension suddenly pushed on us readers. AHH- THAT character given 5 mins of screen time but holds a stronger impression on LMK watchers with details seen in him. Executed his behavior and now leaving me anxious.
I honestly can't wait how the other Spider Demons will be portrayed too and seeing crumbs- y/n in for a treat 😭😭 I also wonder if they managed to find y/n place easier because the magic vase protects them but also welcomes them with this energy...

I think imma just ramble since I’m still figuring out his dimension,and lore despite me having him for about 7 years already now?
Mason Grayson Jason-He/Him-Gay-Salvadoran-16- 5’8
Middle child, older brother his half brother Eddie Brock(23, his worlds Spider-Man) and little sister Felicia Jason (14, his worlds black cat)
His mom works as a local news paper editor in New Jersey, and his dad was arrested for being the towns original “Black Cat”, claiming that he was stealing to help the family get a better life, when later in it’s revealed that he did it for the thrill and didn’t keep any of the savings he made safe or intended for his kids
Loves photography, and is currently using his skills at his internship as a journalist intern at his moms rival company lol
He also tends to have a few different summer Jobs (Currently works at his community’s pool center)
Mason and perry tend to try to work together as venom knowing that they now need each other to survive or else they both die, so might as well work together in life and in battle
The suit that perry turns into tends to protect Mason pretty well except when it comes to high voltage of electrical shocks, fire, and certain high sound frequencies
Perry gives Mason the ability to create objects out of the parasites slime, enhanced eye sight/ability to see in the dark, cling on to walls with the claws, and swing from place to place. With being able to slightly increase the boys strength
Both need oxygen, food, and water to function, as well as certain meds stolen from the lab to help stable the both of them, until they can create something that will do it more frequently, and not on limited supply
