On January 15, 2019, lone SAS operator Christian Craighead, enters the Dusit Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, in respond to a terrorist attack. This famous photograph was seen on social media and major news outlets around the world.
Off-duty at the time, Craighead wore his combat gear over jeans and shirt when he entered the complex alone. He was able escort civilians to safety, then went back inside the hotel where he shot and killed two of the four al-Shabaab gunmen.

I have determined something about myself.
If a game has a snarky SAS character in it, I am going to love the hell out of them.

inspired by mw2 remake, revamping ol’ jon as a demoman in the SAS, think he’ll like it better there than as EOD

Paddy saying "when I get up barking in the night as I do, he takes me for a walk and throws me a stick" and Stirling saying "you need to forget about Eoin McGonigal. There, that was me, drawing a knife," and Paddy saying "Go. Kill. Return. Do it Again." over a bottle of whisky and shared grief -

Special Air Service TV Show
SAS show but it's not the Who Dares Wins. It's the, forcing actual active duty members of the SAS into doing the normal challenges of daily life in adulthood. The challenges are:
Go to Tesco and ask for help in finding a certain object,
Make a conversation to a stranger in any place where humans usually commune together,
Visit your in-laws
Go grocery shopping and make eye contact with the cashier as you demonstrate proper decorum in conversing with them and paying for your items and get a veteran's discount
This may be a simple challenge to any able-bodied neurotypical who participates in the grueling challenges that the Who Dares Wins television series makes them go through, but for special operations soldiers who are more closed off than Kryptos..it will certainly be something.

The 2019 DusitD2 complex attack was a terrorist attack that occurred from 15 to 16 January 2019 in the Westlands area of Nairobi, Kenya, which left 22 civilians and all five terrorists dead.
A masked (wearing a balaclava) member of the British SAS (Christian Craighead), was in the country to conduct training, accompanied by a member of the Diplomatic Protective Services Tactical Response Unit (DPS-TRU).
Christian Craighead shot and killed two of the attackers and was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Cross for his extreme bravery.
