the gun fiend looks like aki, his touch feels like aki. he has the same large, calloused palms, the same soft, long hair. it feels like the same lips when you kiss him, but he's so much rougher, so much needier.
aki always took his time with you, he was always gentle, never forceful. but the gun fiend pushes you into whatever position he's desiring, he yanks your clothes off without a care, he wraps his hand around your throat and presses his gun to your forehead. and the worst part is you let him.
you let him have his way with you, because you still trust him, still love him. you let him fuck you however he pleases because if it means a bit longer to feel close to aki hayakawa, you'd take it in a heartbeat. you enjoy every last minute you have with him, you kiss him even though you know it's not him, even though he's a devil.
perhaps you're feeling some sort of hope that you'll find a way to get through to him. or maybe that hope has already died along with your beloved, and you're just trying to hold onto whatever of aki is left: his voice, his body. just not his mind.

i cannot stop talking huh
#oh man#finally saw my favorite band live yday but then spent today teary and in despair#the come down from all that adrenaline was so ROUGH i feel so empty and sad#like don’t get me wrong it was like a top 10 night for me i will never forget#the lead singer & i got to chat and exchange jewelry after the show and like afterwards i was full body trembling like a chihuahua like#i’ve never loved life more#but now everything feels so grey and unsatisfactory#ugh!!!!!!!!#i’m TIRED of it grandpa i’m tired of constantly planning enrichment activities for myself so i don’t leap off a building!!!!!!#also i thoufht i wss going to do a lot of wholesome hobby stuff once i moved out#like start drawing and writing and reading again and perhaps even picking back up instruments and stuff#but instead i have to schedule social interactions constantly back to back to back bc i cannot stand being alone#but then conversely when the stars aligned and my friend’s lease was ending and i wss up for transfer i was like no#i can’t do it i love being alone actually#a roommate would probably be good for my brain but at the same time i’be spent the past two years bouncing in between#stifling living conditions that never gave me my own space so now i do have to sit here and fiercely remind myself that i NEED this#anyways one ray of positivity is that i made a soup today and oh my god it is so delicious#my second soup i’ve made in this apartment and i do consider myself a culinary genius of just this genre#it’s just annoying that this is the only day this entire week that i blocked out to make myself sit in my apartment and not see anybody#but yet i’m still fiending for at least a phone call and hoping a friend texts spontaneously#i’ve been running back to back between my friends and i was like ahhhh ok i finally get a day to relax#but i do think it was a bad idea to place it right after the show bc i DEFINITELY needed company today#half the time i didn’t even know why i was crying

I made lemon chicken soup today to ward off the anxiety from this Ticketmaster nonsense and I've never made a smarter decision. A nice warm bowl of soup just feels so nice.
I'm also making cinnamon rolls...... can you tell I cook as a coping mechanism????
Granted I used store-bought dough but this is my go-to way of coping.

Sorry this took so long!! This probably isn’t my best but I’ve been working nonstop 😭
First thing’s first, Thomas isn’t really used to any physical affection
Like, all the physical touch he has received wasn’t the best

It had been a while since you first moved in to the Hewitt household. You had originally planned to just breeze through the town but your truck had ran out of gas. You ended up meeting Thomas and the rest is history.
Your husband would do anything for you. He wouldn’t hesitate to kill someone if they so much as looked at you funny. Thankfully, Thomas understood how you felt about killing but he was also grateful that you understood that it was his familys’ means of survival. They had to kill in order to eat. Luda Mae and Hoyt sure as hell weren’t driving all the way to the big cities just to shop.
You had just gotten back from shopping. You were in the kitchen preparing some potato soup. Thomas loved your potato soup. Speaking of your husband, you could see him clearly from the kitchen window. He was out helping Hoyt set the bear traps. You had caught him at a good time too. The way those jeans hugged his ass when he bent over was enough to make your mouth water. Damn how’d you get so lucky.
Your eyes occasionally stole glances at him, trying to catch a nice view of his ass every time. Sadly, they had just finished setting the last one up which meant they would come inside to cool off. “Lucky me.” You grinned.
You fiend innocence when your husband walked past you. He was making his way to the fridge when SMACK.
He immediately jolted up, turning to look at you with wide eyes. Had you just smacked his ass? He looked confused and it only got worse when you laughed.
“Maybe don’t walk around with such a fat ass and I won’t smack it.” You teased, returning your focus to your soup.
Oh you were so gonna get it later.

loves to surprise you with homecooked meals when he has the chance

like he won't notice that you're struggling while carrying the groceries in because he's scrolling on his phone
or he will get out of bed early to go to practice and leave half of your leg exposed to the freezing cold world without realizing
but the second you sigh and groan, "quinnnn" dragging his name out for dramatic effect

will fight to pay for you when you go shopping or get groceries

gets excited to watch your try-on hauls of everything you bought with his card
ok so we know quinn is a monotone king
you definitely make him laugh and bring out his silly side, which makes him feel really comfortable around you
but he also feels good just being with you in a comfortable silence when you're both just enjoying each other's presence
other people know you guys are a good match when they see his dopey smile and heart eyes when he's watching you
enjoys spa nights with you, especially enjoys watching reality tv with you as you wait for your facemasks to be done
is a house hunters fiend

you know he's busy with extra media and interviews since he's captain now, so you always send him a text wishing him well, not expecting a phone call or facetime
but quinn is quinn, and he will not let you go to bed without letting you hear his voice, even if it's just an audio message
is very good at responding to you, makes long distance pretty easy
even though he can be pretty quiet, you realize that he's talked to his brothers about you when you walk in one day and he's on the phone with jack
you tiptoe in just to hear him continue talking about your upcoming schedule and "no jack, she can't make it to the game, she has to get up early because she's like, really smart and important, and she's presenting in front of the boss, dude"
you've said hi to his brothers on the phone but you don't meet until summer rolls around and he brings you to his lake house for the week
so proud to introduce you to his family
his family meets you and they all have huge smiles on their faces because they already know how much quinn adores you
always bragging about you even though he's literally a professional athlete
gets sick twice a year like clockwork
and will make a big deal about it even though you know he's going to catch the flu once his teammates' kids infect half the team
will aimlessly follow you around the house while you make him soup (his mom's recipe of course)
let's be honest, quinn isn't a stranger to looking a little pathetic (meant lovingly) so this is like peak quinn hughes behavior
favorite season is spring so he loves to try to plant things with you and start a little garden
loves to surprise you with flowers, sometimes even sending them to your work
leaves lil love notes written on the top sheet of random notepads around his house
