Please stop engaging with photos of the tannies in the military that don't come from the boys or bighit, bighit asked us the same thing. We repeatedly said that they would exploit the tannie's image as much as they could. we repeatedly said that the military app platforms should be used only by the boy's families.

there are so many things about this ask that are both loud and wrong but in the interest of time, i’m going to hit the low points.

1. HYBE/Big Hit has never asked for fans to abstain from sharing military photos. it actually goes against their vested interest to do so. they have had to take 3 insanely famous worldwide superstars off the market for 2 years. military photos keep them in the public eye and make their fans happy.

2. members of BTS (or as you referred to them, “the boys” and “the tannies”) are actually grown men. you’re well within your rights to infantilize grown men in your own space on your own time, but that’s not how we do business here. if hobi or any other member took issue with the circulation of these photos, he would say so. either on his own social media or through weverse or through an official HYBE/Big Hit press release.

3. concerning photos on the military app: is it “exploitation” as you claim or is it a service for the “boy’s families” as you also claim? because it can’t be both. that app, that tradition existed long before BTS enlisted and will exist long after. is the korean government selling access to these photos? no. are they using them in marketing campaigns? also no.

beyond that, if for any reason the korean military took issue with the dissemination of these photos, trust and believe they’d put a stop to it. if they can figure out how to shoot an intercontinental ballistic missile out of the sky, they can figure out how to keep pictures of seokjin with his men off the internet.

4. no matter what “we repeatedly” said, it is not your place or anyone else’s place to police how people participate in this fandom. this is the exact kind of high-handed hall monitor nonsense that gives this fandom a bad name. what you are not going to do is come here and tell me and many other fans that we’re somehow disrespecting our faves by enjoying and sharing publicly available content. this is not sasaeng material, it does not jeopardize any member’s privacy and/or safety.

if you don’t want to engage with this kind of content, then don’t. keep it pushing.

Sorry for interrupting how everyone is talking about the current lore and launching back to some time ago but since ive read some twts about qroier and his condoning if cellbit is maybe doing the killings and how he hates the fed and all that and ive always wanted to highlight the difference of how both him and qjaiden saw the trip and few minutes they were given with bobby before he fully died

Qjaiden saw those few moments as mercy. They gave her more time with their son, to make last few happy memories with him to keep forever. And she drowned herself in these memories, it is literally how she coped afterwards. By building herself a home of those memories and isolating herself from everyone else. This affected how she saw cucurucho because cucurucho was the one to give her these final moments.

Qroier saw those few moments as cruelty. They dangled the possibility of him getting his son back right in his face, made him go through so much shit and for what? A few measly minutes? How cruel of them to mock him by giving him these last moments with his son knowing he could never have this ever again afterwards. It was vicious mockery is what he believes they gave him. It affected how he grieved too, barely ever touching his memories because it only serves as a cruel reminder of who's bot there anymore, barely going to the 3rd floor of his house, to bobby's castle, keeping himself away from what both he and bobny built, busy with building the city bobby wanted because that city will be a memory he builds alone and not with bobby. And thats why he hates the federation more than ever now.

Something I really need Stranger Things fic writers to know is that no one in rural America was locking any doors in the eighties apart from the government and businesses. I remember when there was a big stink about "we gotta start locking our doors now how am I supposed to remember that every time I leave the house." People didn't lock the doors when they were home until at LEAST the mid-aughts, a lot of people STILL don't. "Oh we can't get into so-and-so's house/car because we don't have the keys!" You do not need the keys, just open the door. "I'm alarmed because I went over to so-and-so's house and their front door was unlocked so I instantly knew something was wrong." It would be much weirder if it was locked. If I showed up at my friend's house and the door was locked I would immediately assume something was wrong. If I lived in a town regularly invaded by monsters and patrolled by mobs of government agents/Russian spies/jocks with guns, I would assume my friend was currently being hunted.

Let's say we have one media with a cast of 10 characters. Nine out of ten are allos, the tenth is aroace.

Fandom will ship the aroace character and then say, "Aroace people can still want/have romance or sex!!"

And yes. Yes they can. So you know what you could do instead of taking the one character who expresses no interest for romance or sex and writing them in a ship?

You could, for example, take one of the nine allo characters and make them aspec. There: aspec rep in ships, and aspec people are allowed to keep one character who doesn't care for romance and/or sex. Win-win. Isn't it? :)

man I know you've got a million what ifs and I don't expect you to spin this anywhere but I was just looking at some Yusuf fanart and wondering how Desmond would feel if he was reborn as Yusuf

It would be such a weird intersection of Ezio and Altaïr memories for him

and the twin pulls to go to Ezio and help him however he can, and the rancid bile that is Templars making their home in Masyaf

and of course the Petruccio problem, that Desmond feels like he took someone else's life, someone he knew enough to know he's not him, that he's an identity thief.

(And also the continued tragedy of Desmond being born in Ezio's era, but too late to help him in his youth.)

We can keep Desmond from going ‘fuck it’ and either joining Ezio or doing something about the Templars’ occupation in Masyaf thanks to Yusuf’s backstory of having no father and only having his mother raised him. His mother would be the only reason why Desmond continued to stay in Constantinople. Honestly, what we know of Yusuf’s life is from the novelization of the movie where his descendant relived his early years. From that though, we can get Desmond into accidentally creating a Brotherhood made up of street urchins. They’re more on the side of thieves than actual Assassins because Desmond focused on keeping everyone alive and healthy.

So when the Brotherhood heard of an organized Thieves Guild, Ishak Pasha is the one to look into it.

There, he meets up with Desmond (who goes by Desmond with only his mother being the one to call him ‘Yusuf’) and Ishak mistakes Desmond as one of the leaders’ main messengers.

Desmond didn’t bother to correct his misconception and lets Ishak watch them in action with Desmond talking to himself in 3rd Person much to the amusement of his fellow ‘thieves’. Ishak learns they call their leader ‘mentor’ and realized that a lot of them move like Assassins.

When he sees Desmond’s Hidden Blade which he had received from his mother a few years back, Ishak finally realizes that Desmond is the mentor.

After this, we can go either:

Desmond and his Brotherhood of ‘street rats’ are taken in by the Brotherhood for formal training or

Desmond and his Brotherhood remain to be a separate organization that are closely allied with the Brotherhood but do not bow to any mentor.

I feel like Desmond would pick to remain independent for various reasons but mostly, he decides to be independent because he doesn’t see himself as an Ottoman Assassin, clinging to his Levantine roots. Ishak might even think that Desmond was truly a descendant of a Levantine Assassin of old, maybe of even the great Al-

Probably not.

With Desmond’s Brotherhood being an independent organization, he gets to train people he trust to keep his mother safe. Once he’s sure they’d be fine by their own, years have passed and Desmond…

Desmond knows Ezio would be making his way to Masyaf this year.

So…

He goes to Masyaf as well.

Okay, so we know that Desmond would searched for the Masyaf Keys as soon as he could and we can give him maybe most of them… except one. The key that seemed to have disappeared, most probably in Templar hands that Desmond is still searching for.

This way, we have an excuse for Ezio to go to Constantinople with Desmond after they cleaned up Masyaf.

Ezio tries to reason that even if they kill every single Templar in Masyaf, they’d just bring in more and finds Desmond’s insistence to clean up Masyaf as a fool’s errand. At the same time, he’s jealousy of the passion Desmond has for the Creed but worries of how Desmond seems to be stuck in the past as well.

Desmond would be a bit cagey of who he is but he’d tell Ezio that his name is Desmond. Ezio would be surprised but he wouldn’t believe Desmond is the same Desmond that Minerva talked about because, as far as he knew, Desmond was meant to be alive centuries from now. Desmond didn’t bother to tell him the truth. Not yet, anyway.

Maybe after they have said their goodbyes to Altaïr…

Maybe.

The Petruccio problem will definitely rear its ugly head every time his mother would call him ‘Yusuf’, the first time Ezio would learn his real name is ‘Yusuf’ and whenever he sees the Brotherhood have a different mentor instead of… the real Yusuf Tazim.

That was also a reason why he decided that his Brotherhood (maybe we’ll name it the Brotherhood of Shadows? It would be funny if Desmond goes “we’re the Hidden Ones�� without having any ideas that that was the original name of the Brotherhood) would work independently. He’s trying to step away from Yusuf Tazim’s footsteps, like an exact opposite of the initial plans of the Desmond Miles who became Petruccio Auditore.

He wants to carve his own path because he believes he’d only be sullying Yusuf’s memories if he pretended to be him.

So…

How about Suleiman and Desmond actually meet and they sorta-kinda grow close in a ‘I think of you as a friend’ way for Suleiman and in a ‘I know you’re gonna be sultan later so I’m being nice to you’ way for Desmond.

But the more Desmond talk to Suleiman, the more he notices…

Suleiman sounds a lot like Malik.

And his memories of Malik make Desmond feel… a kinship with Suleiman that may or may not even be there. And Desmond is now worried.

That Suleiman would become the Lorenzo to his Giovanni and compromise them all.

(And yes, I did think of this because Suleiman and Malik have the same voice actor!)

I saw a rare pair ship pain video of not seeing content of rare pairs and all I could think was "That is me with Inazuma eleven and CfV when it comes to rare pairs." Though most people probably feel the same pain. Sure making content yourself to get it to appeal to others feels rewarding but not the same.

Don't be afraid, I'm really just tired or confused all the time😭

But yes, I've became kind of sus(?) of doctors now. I have a lot of things I could tell, like when this newly appointed doctor gave her first med to her own grandma - which is a family's friend - and I turned pale after hearing what drug she gave her.

#grandma is luckily find btw #she took only one pill before the cardiologist immediately took those pills away from her #also wait #because this might look weird #the drug in questions is one of the most common ever - its not rare #not weird #not new #it's super common and studies everywhere in the medical field #so like im sorry but that mistake was kind of big #but yeah be careful #another time we got this little girl having some hormonal problem and she was checked by 2 different doctors #i remember one of them was literally out of their head #i had to convince her big sister to go to a specialized clinic because i was really worried of #“yeah they don't know what it is but they said she should take this pill”#that pill was quite heavy and should not be given that lightly #anon #lmao sorry for the big rant #btw shes fine too for now after changing her meds

Exactly one year ago I started playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It wasn’t my first interaction with the aa games because a few days earlier, on October 1st, I tried playing one of them online (it was the second game, justice for all) and I immediately fell in love with the franchise. I didn't finish the case right away because I wanted to play them in order but my first official interaction with the games was the 'Phoenix has amnesia' plot.

i think I'd take the "glass child" shit more seriously if 98% of the ppl i see talking about it weren't like "My sibling was physically disabled and my parents took care of them??!?! Why wasn't I given breakfast in bed??? I mean, I know I'm capable of getting food and my siblings physically couldn't, but this is just so unfair!!! Btw I have visual snow syndrome so I'm like just as disabled as my paralyzed sibling!!"

people can say what they want about radqueers but i’ve never had any other community not shun me for being hypersexual or treat sex like it’s unclean or something

This isn’t about Paras, this isn’t about transids, this isn’t about any of that. This is about how in every fandom im in they will treat liking a character sexually or making any sexual jokes (maybe not even to a single character) is gross and shouldn’t be done. This is how in the Mogai community there’s a high chance they either praise hypersexuality for their “bravery” to talk about it, or be mad when you talk about any part of it that actually has to do with the sexual part of hypersexuality.

I say a character is cute? That’s fine!

I say i’d date a character? That’s fine!

I at all make any sexual comments, joking or not? Oh i’m a horrible sinful person.

I literally had to stop talking on an entire social media site for a bit because someone who has MUCH LESS sexual thoughts than me said that they were having too many of them. It made me realize that i’m not wanted there, even though they were fine with me talking about it for years and years, even in high detail. But apparently they didn’t care, because sexual stuff of any kind is considered Taboo, even in adult spaces.

Just a lil bit of health related things

I got my blood test results and woah. I’m anemic, have a big vitamin D deficiency, hypothyroidism, and impaired kidney function. And my vit b12 is like crazy high which might be a few things why is one of them leukemia

No wonder I feel like a fucking walking corpse. Sad that I had to be dying of long covid for my doctor to consider doing any of this tests… I told her many times I didn’t feel right and she brushed me off.

Probably because I’ve moved twice and I’m not in her municipality anymore and they’ve been trying to get rid of me but I can’t find a doctor and haven’t been able to for 3 years but anyways…

I had the worst pancreatitis like a year and a half ago. Was in the hospital for 3 weeks. I actually got sent home from the ER twice before they admitted me and by that point it started fucking with my liver and my kidneys. So maybe just maybe it wrecked miy kidneys a little.

I also had an ekg and the results aren’t there yet but sure I’m going to freak out about what it might say anyway.

I feel slightly very terrified now.

I always have very bad health anxiety. Im always worried there’s something wrong with me. To the point where I obsess over it and have panic attacks. I can’t explain the cold fear that has just washed over me.
