Labyrinth Zone is going to make me lose my mind
#I'm playing the Sonic Minecraft DLC (Not the texture pack the original one that's a custom map)#And I'm trying to get the achievement where you reach act 5 of Labyrinth Zone#But there is some very annoying and stupid stuff happening that is just making it way harder than it should#You need a certain amount of rings to progress which increases as you progress through the acts#So you have to not take damage much#But there's Grounders positioned right by springs so that if you fail to react within the less than 1 second window you have#You lose 64 (or all) of your rings#And also there's a ton of doors that need to be activated with switches that are right in front of them#But for some reason like 75% of these doors just refuse to open until 1-2 minutes later#So it's stretching out the already annoying attempts to about 5x their normal length by forcing me to wait#Which also wastes a lot of my time#Krafter Talks

I'm making progress on my painting pack ! 12 done, 14 to go !

At first I wanted to not do any external media reference, but at one point you realize that finding ideas for 26 paintings is hard, so you might as well reference media you like. Kudos to those who'll manage to spot all the refs, some are less in your face than the big Tailsmo painting, ha ha.
As usual I've tried to make textures that match my Lovely Colors texture pack, but I've also tried to make paintings that could be useful in builds in general. That's why you have a few computer screens, a pin board, menus and even TVs ! I may make a cupboard or two too. There are still paintings which look like framed picture/art though, don't worry !
I'd prefer to release the pack once it's 100% completed, but I may post updates every now and then. ^^

#we were looking at the prime toys and im like sigh i want a rusty rose and nine... and soren found them ^-^#they came in a pack tigether with sonic and a shard ^-^#finally. drawing refs#sonic#only real complaint/ nitpick is i wish sonic had the fur texturing like the bigger prime toys#well maybe ill paint them on ^-^#slight imperfection on nines eye but this rusty rose had the best paint of the others

Tails doll here was intended to be the enderman, but in the end we decided that Sonic Frontiers’ Soldier would fit better, especially considering what we ended up doing with the End. don’t worry though, there’s still a reference to Tails Doll in the pack ;)

Take a look at this new Sonic the Hedgehog textures pack in Minecraft
Avid Minecraft players can now immerse themselves in the look and feel of the Sonic the Hedgehog series with the brand new Textures Pack, now available through the Minecraft Marketplace.
The downloadable content was developed by Canadian-based Gamemode One, the same studio that developed the original Sonic the Hedgehog custom world for the sandbox video game.
The official announcement said that players can "mine for Master Emerald shards, recover hearts with Chao fruit, and craft a trusty Excalibur sword as you venture through familiar Sonic gamescapes, reimagined in new, blocky ways."
A deep immersion in the Sonic universe is expected, said Scott Kerslake of Gamemode One, "while still being grounded in the roots of Minecraft and its mechanics."
“I wouldn't say that there's anything deliberately hidden in the pack, but I am super excited for you to discover all of the Sonic references and new ideas that have been lovingly crafted.”
Players who unlock the game through the Minecraft Marketplace before 22 June 2023 can also redeem a free Super Sonic Hoodie Character Creator item, according to the official statement.
Minecraft players can unlock the textures DLC for 990 minecoins (the in-game currency) through the Minecraft Marketplace, which requires the latest version of Bedrock.
