Cat demon Tribe and the Wolf demon tribe. The both weren't on good terms which is why a arrangement was set. The marriage between Y/n and Kouga was to be set, the two leaders to destroy what disagreements they had and stop this ridiculous rivalry.

Kouga, had nothing but the up most respect for you. So did some of the wolf demon tribe members. Those 'Some' being the few you grew up with as a child. You'd never thought in a million years your parents would force you to marry.

Kouga, willing to wait. A total gentleman, not to mention beautiful and agile. Though, you...not with any of it. More like you hated Kouga. Dispite your uncooperative-ness Kouga loved you anyway.

Avoiding him at all costs because you wouldn't deny you were attracted to him, you just wanted to live in denial.

A warm evening you decided to go for a bathe in a nearby pond. Bringing soaps and shampoos, which a human friend of yours 'Kagome' gave to you as a gift. You set your items down and began to strip. Neatly folding your clothes, you jump into the water; fully submerging yourself.

You relaxed completely under water, enjoying the way the mini current felt on your face. That was until, you sensed something..rather someone. Quickly bringing your head above water you turn around to see who it was. Your fiancé sat at the edge of the pond.

"Hey Y/n." He said softly,"I didn't know cats loved water." You stared at him blankly.."Mm, delightful.."

Kouga chuckled,"Is it okay if I hop in?"

"Yes, I was getting out anyway", You say with a tinge of annoyance in your voice. Going to the opposite end of the body of water to get out.

Kouga raised a brow,"Getting out? Oh come on, I saw you just get in." Oh, you'd been caught, like a deer in headlights.

You feel your cheeks burn, realizing what he had said. You turned to face him before scolding him, "Y-You watched me?! So you're a pervert! I knew I-". Stopping mid sentence as he was fully naked and getting in the pond. You were visibly flustered as the sight before you. "O-Oh my god!" Quickly turning around, your mouth gaped as you looked at the picture in your mind.

Kouga slowly making his way to you,"Y/n I don't mind if you look at me...". Still stunned, you fan yourself with your hand and whisper, "Be gone bad thoughts be gone.."

"Oh? I thought I was a pervert.."

You turned around to face him,"Look here you– Im-!.." Is he doing this on purpose?! Its like he's trying to get you to see his body. You turned around and because of how much taller he was than you; your eyes meet at his chest. Sculpted abs, toned biceps, his curved collar bone– then up to his neck, that delicious adam's apple. His jawline was well-defined and sharply angled, like it could cut anything with a simple touch. Then, his face. Handsomely majestic–

You knew you were staring, you were checking him out and it was plain as day. He didn't say anything, he just watched you do so as you day dreamed. When you snapped out of it, you took a deep breathe before turning away.

Kouga wouldn't let you, he pulled your arm back. "Hey..Why avoid me again? It's not going to stop you from marrying me you know."

I laugh,"So far its worked–"

Kouga sighed,"Thats because I let you be. I could bug you like I am now, but I didn't." He reaches for your hand, he guides it to his chest. Sliding your hand along his torso. Pulling you in close, his free hand looping around your body and placed on your waist.

Kouga's voice, whispering: "You can't run from me forever"

You whisper back,"I will..watch me."

Kouga sighs,"What do I have to do to get you to love me?"

"Nothing, because it's not happening."

Kouga narrows his eyes, raising a brow. He smirks,"Sweetheart, you've been feeling me up for the past 5 minutes.."

"You started it..", you hissed.

"You're right, but I let your hand go. So, A: it seems like your hand has a mind of it's own..or B: You're the pervert."

You look at your hand and, its migrated up to his bicep...You retracted your hand and walked around him with annoyance. "You're starting to get on my nerves!" You couldn't stay any longer or you were for sure to give in to your desires.

You should've known, nothing would get past him. "Y/n, will you please stop avoiding me." He follows after you, "I don't understand why you don't like me so much. I can assure you we can come to an agreement– I promise to treat you like a goddess." You turn around facing him.

"You hardly know me, why are you okay with this marriage?"

"I just want to stop this useless fighting"

"So you admit you're using me to get my tribe to side with yours? Hm? What tired of having so many enemies?",you smirk.

"No! I'd never do that Y/n..I just want all this ridiculous rivalry to come to an end. I want everyone to be happy."

You fold your arms. Kouga reaches his arms out to you,"You know, Im more than willing to protect and cherish you."

You back up, and Kouga walks forward with an soft empathic smile. "W-What if I dont want to." You continue to back up, Kouga persistent, he continued in your direction. "We'll come to a conclusion, help me understand."

Your back hits the edge of the pond, Kouga stops in front of you. "Help you understand huh.."

You scoffed,"Understand this..I dislike you..." Kouga caged you against the pond wall, both hands on each side of you. "Is that so..do you..dislike me as a man? Or as a person?"

"Both..", you said unsure. Kouga's not dumb, he's far from it. He can read you like a book. He leans in, his face now in front of yours. "Tell me..what you dislike about me, and I'll fix it for you."

His gorgeous face a few inches away from yours. 'H-He's gotta be doing this on purpose', you think to yourself.

"I'm sick of you, and your pretty face. Your attractive body too. It's– Annoying." You admitted embarrassed. Kouga chuckles,"Oh..You want me to fix your attraction towards me?" He said with a large smile.

You stand there flustered not knowing what to say.. but definitely enticed by his lips as he was enticed by yours. "So?..Do you want to consider loving me someday? Or keep living in denial, hm?"

A finger under your chin, making you look at him; your arranged fiancé. His blue eyes look back into your orange eyes. "...You're really pushing for this huh?" You whisper as you gaze at his lips. Have they always looked so bite-able, so kiss-able like that?

"I am, if you let me. I will give everything you want and more." Kouga looked down at you with a gentle smile, his k-9's peaking past his lips. Kouga leans in, still using his finger to keep your eyes on him.

Your dark cheeks tented a slight red, you shut your eyes closed tight. Expecting to be kissed by Kouga. Though when you felt nothing you opened one eye looking back at him confused. Both eyes opened, batting your eyelashes at him. "I thought you were.."

"Hm? Gonna kiss you?"

You nod, this making Koga smile. Maybe he was getting some progress from you. "You mean you want me to kiss you?" Feeling bashful you nod just a tiny bit, realizing what you'd just admitted to wanting to kiss him. Once again, it was obvious you were attracted to Koga. Even to him, he could see it from a mile away.

"Thats..not what I ment to say–"

Koga smirks,"Then what?~ hm..I'll kiss you, if you want me too."

You scowl,"I did but no! You're pissing me off. If you haven't realized, this is inappropriate! We've been so close together, naked in this springs and now you're trying to get me to admit I want to ki-"

You went silent, with a pair of lips pressed to yours. Your hand instinctively going to his shoulder, as Koga pulls you in close. You sighed into his lips, finally giving in to some sort of affection from him. Koga pulls away, leaving you a breathless, heart-fluttery mess.. "See what happens when we come to an agreement and talk like adults?"

"Shut up..", you rolled your eyes, tugging at his arm. He took your subtle hint.

Koga smiles, leaning close,"Yes ma'am". Once again kissing you, and you gladly kissed back. Letting him lead, you followed his fluid like motions. Your eyes closing, pulling him in close and him doing the same.

Giving into to Koga felt wonderful. Being able to melt into his touch..could I feel like this all the time Im with him? His left hand on your waist and right on your cheek. Your hands on his chest, the both of you fit together like a steamy puzzle piece. When it seemed like the two of you were about to get carried away–

"Koga! Koga! We've got some trouble with the Northern Wolf Demon tribe."

Another voice,"Hey Sis!"

You yelp as you pull away, mid kiss– hiding behind Koga. "Ginta? Hakkaku?" You peak from Kouga's shoulder. The wolf demon with a spikey white mohawk spoke,"Wow! You're finally getting along?"

You visibly flustered,"We are Not!" You scowled. Hakkaku tilts his head in confusion,"Really? Because to me it looked like the two of you were a bout to-

Koga clears his throat, interruption Hakkaku. "E-Enough...now you two can head that way..I'll be right behind you."

The boys nod then take off. Hakkaku waves,"Bye sis! Glad to see you're finally coming along!"

Your eye twitches,"Don't call me that–"

Koga smiles,"You should probably stop denying it." You stare at him blankly, and scoff. Kouga gets out of the pond, shaking off what water he can before putting his clothes back on.

He smiles brightly at you,"Its okay, I know you love me. Its only a matter of time before you accept it, and when you do. I'll be waiting."

You fold your arms, embarrassed you look away. "As if! go run off to your tribe." Kouga, fixes his last clothing needed. "I'll catch you later, okay? Next time we meet I'll be sure to do something sweet for you!" He says starting his light jog.

"Stop being so nice to me!" You shout as he gets farther and farther away.

You hear a light laughter from his direction. "Just trying to help you chose beautiful ♡!" He shouts from what now is a cyclone zipping away.

....You sit in the pond..shivering..

"Sheesh. Some fiancé...he could've helped me wash my hair before he left...", you mumble. Smiling to yourself as you place your fingers on your lips..

.."I cant stand him ♡"

tbh I'd love to have Aladdin as a younger brother 🥹🥹🥹 he is such a sweetheart

Alibaba perceives you differently from his brothers, Ahbmad and Sahbmad, who treated him with disgust or indifference. Ever since he moved into the royal palace of Balbadd, you were the only one among his siblings who actually acknowledged him as a brother, which he was grateful for. You quickly get close to each other and start treating him a younger brother - you couldn't care less whether you had different mother or the fact that he grew up in the slums and you in the royal palace. Despite everything, it was easy for you to get immediately attached to him. Compared to the relationship you shared with Ahbmad and Sahbmad, you considered Alibaba to be your brother much more than those two, whom you only shared a last name with. The same way you treat him as you younger brother, he starts seeing you an older sibling, a figure he didn't know he was lacking till the day he met you. Despite being treated with harshness and comptept by the others at the palace, Alibaba knew he could rely on you, asking you for advice whenever he needed it. You weren't going to refuse to help him, he was sure of it. On the other hand, he felt guilty and didn't want to bother you, almost feeling unworthy of your attention. Once you confronted him on the topic though, he started being much more straight-forward towards you. Once he grew accustomed to the habits of the royal palace and getting used to being an actual prince of Balbadd, your relationship doesn't change much. Two siblings, sometimes quarreling and teasing each other, other days being the closest of friends, gossipping and confiding secrets and insecurities. Alibaba though can't help but keep you distant - he doesn't want you to see him as a whining little child, he wants you to know he's strong and that he can survive on his own, without relying on you anytime he goes through some challenges. He looks up to you and wants you to be proud of him.

Aladdin got close to you in a similar way to how he got attached to the Kouga clan, it was almost istinctive of him, being drawn to your feelings of affection. After living on his own for so long, with Ugo as his only companion, he was excited to meet someone like you. He may appear kinda clingy from the outside - and he sort of his - but it's just his way of experimenting a world he doesn't belong in. He loves seeing how easily you move in this world, how you seem to know everything he doesn't. Aladdin sees you as someone he can learn from, who will hold his hand if he ever needs it. Aladdin didn't know how it felt to have a sibling before meeting you and he's not even completely sure yours is a sibling-like relationship- It doesn't really matter to him though - he feels safe when you are with him and all the fears residing in his heart seem to dissipate when he remembers you're there to encourage him. Even when you are far away, Aladdin knows he can rely on you, that you'll be there when he needs it the most. Everything feels new to him and sometimes he doesn't know how to react, but he is sure of one thing: he loves the feeling of having a family. He is part of something, he isn't alone, not anymore.

My Top 5 Bleach Filler Characters, Appropos of Nothing

5. Inaba Kagerouza, Reigai Arc

Inaba is, simply put, the pinnacle of Soul Society worldbuilding. He's got this long dramatic backstory and a bunch of rage bottled up in his chest, but also a guy needs a paycheck, so he's just been doing the R&D grind for a hundred years. He knows a shit-ton about the Dangai, which is relevant to his evil scheme, but it's also just his day job (also the Dangai owns, I want a PhD in "the Dangai"). No one else in Squad 12 seems to have the least bit of beef with him, even after he builds an evil duplicate of every person in the Gotei. Unlike a lot of mad scientist characters, he's good with his weapon. Maybe he's weirdly jacked under his villainous smock?? Also, his evil scheme was generally well thought out, and took into account the fact that the Gotei is a bunch of buffoons. ngl, I kinda wish his plan had succeeded, if only for the fact that it would probably really piss Aizen off.

4. Ran'Tao, Bount Arc

Everything about Ran'Tao owns, including:

Sexy glasses

Condemned so hard by the Central 46 that they gave her a kidou seal back tattoo

KIDOU. SHOTGUN.

Stabbed Kariya in the gut

Noped out at the end of the arc because Who Needs the Gotei's Shit?

3. Kuchiki Kouga, Zanpakutou Rebellion Arc I think that when you hear the story about how Byakuya was forbidden from marrying Hisana because she was a commoner, you're supposed to feel this great sense of injustice, like wow! Byakuya actually showed character by standing up for his love! And that's great and all, and then you get the Zanpakutou Rebellion Vintage Kuchiki Bullshit Flashbacks and it's like, oh, the last guy they married into the clan mass murdered a bunch of people and then they had to seal him up in a cave and I feel like that's an important piece of context in the entire Kuchiki Family-Being-a-Bitch-About-Who-Byakuya-Marries debacle.

Which isn't to exonerate the Kuchiki, here! It's very clear that Kouga wasn't that bad before he got pushed over the brink by Kuchiki family machinations. I mean, this is very much an Everyone's The Asshole situation.

I love the fact that they never come out and say that Kouga is Byakuya's uncle, but he's very obviously Byakuya's uncle.

I love the fact that he dramatically cut his kenseikan off with his sword and threw them at Ginrei and they made a gree card of it.

I love that he appears to be exactly Renji's height and has one chunk of hair that is the same color as Renji's and he over-accessorizes horrifically, and at best the Squad Six old-timer's had to be like "Byakuya don't do this to us again" when he hired Renji, and at worst there's a chance that Renji the secret baby that was born after Kouga was banished and he was hidden away in the Rukon so he didn't screw up the succession line but he's actually the true Heir to the Kuchiki.

2. Harugasaki Seizo, standalone episode 313 This dude had a homoerotic rivalry with Ikkaku (doomed, of course, because who could compete with Yumichika?), lost his shinigami powers when he took a blow meant for Ikkaku, and then spent the next hundred years putting his entire pussy into doing laundry for Squad 11. This man invented yearning, even if he did choose the worst possible person in the history of ever as the target of his affection.

1. Amagai Shuusuke, New Captain Shuusuke Amagai Arc He looks like Ross Poldark. He can't hold his liquor. No one knows who witnessed his Captain's Exam. Ukitake and Kyouraku tried to talk him into a threesome. He was nice to Kira. His bankai was a tuba that made a foghorn noise when it belched out fire. His dad was the shinigami equivalent of a narc, who got done dirty by the Captain-Commander. He fought the Dangai Cleaner and won. I love him more than anything.

Honorable Mention: Kenryuu and Enryuu, New Captain Shuusuke Amagai Arc Because they are an important reminder that for all the shinigami buffoonery I am forced to witness, day in and day out, some people graduate from Shin'ou, get shikai even, and still can't get hired by the Gotei.

In honor of @inuvember InuKag Day, the Archive Mods have put together a 30 day InuKag recommendation list: one fic per event prompt, all with a distinct InuKag (as OTP and OT3) flair. Since this is longer than our usual lists, we split it into two parts. Enjoy!

That one anons right, and also its stupid not to acknowledge the fact Tieria is like the only who whos had actual character development in the anime, so its perfectly reasonable that people care about him and not about the Innovators.

ive never disregarded his change thruout s2, im simply stating that to me its a sad thing not more people love them compared to how much love there is for tieria, that sometimes does come from his innovade traits; the example i gave comparing nena's fanbase to hiling's almost nonexistent fanbase is a better one. nena never gets any better and people still like her a lot, and im not saying thats a bad thing ! even moreso because i think they are similar in some ways, that makes me confused why hiling doesnt have more fans; in fact, since when did people on this platform of all cared about characters being well, integral and having morals? we're on tumblr, everyone likes villainous characters all around 😭 its not bad to appreciate tieria if the innovators are not to your liking specifically, but there are absolutely people out there who could like them too, especially on here.

i've expressed my dislikeness of how the anime treats the innovators as well, i feel like the two one shots illustrated by yun kouga that focus more on ribbons add a lot to things otherwise omitted in the anime. if one's only ever seen the anime, i cannot blame them for their distaste towards the innovators, although others could absolutely enjoy them even just for being villains.

if you & the other anon & anyone else dislike my opinions and/or art or ideas showcased through it, please feel free to block me and move on. im aware i cannot please everyone, and even then im 100% aware you or anyone else does not have to do something just because i said it. please dont let me stay in my way of anyone liking tieria, or in anyone's way of disliking the innovators — i simply just wish to, maybe, get more people to like them as well. and its not just about them too, as i include laetitia & sky in my arts and talks as well; my knowledge of innovades simply just ends at only these few. besides all this, tieria is also still my most drawn innovade, my opinions on him are everchanging, and sometimes they just fluctuate based on how im feeling and no further reason.

tldr; we dont need to share the same opinions, even moreso you do not have to interact with me if you do not like doing it. yes, i hope i can mayhaps get more people to love the innovators and laetitia and sky, but if this does not resonate with you, dont try to force it & its fine. im sorry if any of my past statements were emotional enough to warrant into this, there's nothing wrong with liking tieria and disliking the innovators. sometimes i'm just splurging out about how i wish they would have more fans all around & how i sometimes cannot get my head around the dislikeness of them, this is on par bias with how ultimately much they mean to me

I was going to make a post about the evolution of the 6th Division office over time, because these screencaps have been sitting on my desktop for months and that is ridiculous (that’s the part about this that is ridiculous), but I think instead I want to talk about the likelihood that there is some enterprising shinigami out there making it as a freelance furniture designer/pirate.

Evolution of the 6th Division Office Over Time

One might assume that the Kuchiki office has existed unchanged since time immemorial, reflecting the their lengthy tenure as being Voted #1 Noble Family by Kuchiki Magazine, but that’s where you’d be WRONG, because Byakuya has an entirely different odd little side table than Ginrei! He has an entirely DIFFERENT uncomfortable chair! See the rounded top edges of Ginrei’s? And idk if we see the slatback for Ginrei’s, but Byakuya’s version seems to be wanting to do the chair version of what the window panes are doing (which cast dramatic shadows when the moonlight hits just right, so you know that’s intentional), peak chair flex.

Does it make up for the addition(?) of two of the most hideous couches in the Seireitei? Up for debate. But I think Byakuya’s couches might be worse than the 10th couches and the 3rd couches. I’m also convinced that these couches see very little use, because unlike the 10th Division couches, who is napping on these? It’s probably never occurred to Byakuya that those might be a place one might sleep, or nap. The office is not a place for relaxing; they don’t call it a workplace for nothing, and there are far more amenable facilities back home. I think Renji could probably make these into napcouches, because he’s a hero, but he’s very tall, probably taller than the couch is long, and the arms/couchback are cut such that it would be very difficult to use them as head/legrests without just sliding off the front of the couch. These couches are like the couch version of carceral design benches in parks/airports to dissuade people from sleeping on them.

Anyway, what I meant to say is that the 6th office we get in The Kouga Era is different than the one we get in Zanpakutou Rebellion Era, but given how quickly 10th goes through furniture it’s hard to say whether these changes reflect a change in leadership/change in style over centuries, or the whimsy of a moment. Tragically inconclusive findings, which is why I’d instead direct your attention to my favorite element of the 6th Office:

The Odd Little Side Table

Let’s be real here, this is a really weird way to store papers, and not a particularly ergonomic one. Functionally it’s weird; aesthetically, it’s weird, because the massive solidity of the window-centered desk makes the odd little side table feel out of place, and unbalances the room (especially since the couches are on that side, too?).

My guess is that it’s not intended to function as a side table, but as a desk--the kind you’d sit at on the floor on a zabuton, as some shinigami seem to employ in their personal quarters. In Ginrei’s case, maybe that was the OG furnishing in the room, and the giant brick desk is “relatively” new to the office. Or is this the Seireitei version of an adjustable sitting/standing desk, except it’s two desks and they are sitting/sitting desks? Is that Renji’s desk? Is that the snack table that just happens to have a bunch of paper on it in this moment? I don’t know, but it’s my favorite part of this office.

The Door Pull Mogul

But this is really what I’ve been thinking about this morning. The fact of these... door pulls?? KALLRÖR FROM IKEA IS THAT YOU. We know 6th has got their fancy puzzle-key gate, so maybe this mod, Japandi situation we’ve got going with these doors isn’t unexpected, but why are the interior doors to the 6th Division office outfitted like a Hostelling International property:

Don’t get me wrong, I love whatever the Seireitei’s “eras tour? we are ALL eras” architecture and technology, but I’m really interested in what possessed the 6th Division that they wanted to change from sliding doors (I say “change” because the 10th still has sliding doors, and I assume at some point in the past they all did) to doors with IKEA handles. This seems like a horrible choice for a door with any weight to it--how do you grip and pull this? There’s hardly enough clearance between handle and door for even the tiniest hands to grip it. These are cabinet handles. But sure, let’s set that aside.

Inasmuch as the 6th likely values reliable tradition, modernizing one’s interior design not because it got blown up but just because you can is probably one of the best ways you can prove you’re wealthy in this place. Because what else are they going to do? Buy crypto?

So I love the idea that some shinigami realized that they actually did not enjoy talking to ghost after ghost, and they actually did not enjoy risking dismemberment and death, but while on patrol in the Living World found that they did like mail-order catalogs (and later, the Internet and like, Fiverr or something), and got really into creating lookbooks. And they joined up with some equally enterprising shinigami with an equal distaste for death, who had the hookup with all the artisans in town, and they started handmaking and individually-crafting Living World mass design.

Instead of beginning with the bespoke furniture and finding ways of making the mass market, ready-to-wear versions of spoons and couches and door pulls, they went in the other direction and pulled the most popular designs from the Living World (AKA the cheapest and most readily available, but from an alternative perspective the most reflective of the cultural zeitgeist) and pirated them over to Soul Society, to be reinvented and remade as bespoke, very expensive furniture.

I remember back when the books were being published Yun Kouga mentioned she didn't see it as BL and the fans at the con she was at(? Memory was blurry and this was like second hand online) got kind of upset.

I think she may have realized how much people were, for lack of a better term, missing the point/she wouldn't be able to satisfy them with her ending. Considering how emphasis was put on Shinome and Yuiko when they could be easily written out (especially how both feel about Soubi and Ritsuka) and how explicit it got in the end about how everyone else's history and problems were screwing with everyone now (see "Soubi's teacher's crush on his mom when he was a kid leading to at least one death") it does look like the end of the manga would probably seperate them. Soubi getting some kind of relationship with Shinome who actually treats him like an adult, including calling out his faults, telling him to be responsible, and also praising him when he is good and Ritsuka and Yuiko POSSIBLY being the true loveless pair (assuming Semei didn't swap their names. Ritsuka is so loved and Semei is hated by everyone) though that has issues as while Yuiko has been getting more confident I can't see her as a fighter and this dynamic has caused too many problems it should just be ended.

Anyway maybe that's why she never went back

i think the funniest possible position to be in in the loveless fandom even in the meta writer sphere is "het soubi truther" but honestly with the way shinonome is treated i don't think it's impossible and i do lean to that side of things in the event that soubi "ends up" with anyone.

i've heard various theories about why yun kouga hasn't finished it, some being speculation on her health and some speculating that her publisher isn't paying her enough to make it worth it at this point, but i do also sort of get the sense that there might be some friction between her and the way fans interpret things. honestly the way seimei is written is where i see this the most where he is sort of almost going down the cartoon villain path and while i think she makes it work more or less i do think that what happened with mikado wasn't intended from the start and she may have put it in in an attempt to get people to treat seimei as he is; a monster, and seeing a bunch of fans not care about that would certainly put a damper on my writing spirit lol. i think you can also interpret it as a villainous breakdown that he's having where he's losing control of ritsuka and lashing out and doing more and more dramatic things with less and less thought so for me it does still work but it's like augh...............
