Look, Jimmy knew and was okay with knowing Grian was dating the entire hc server but he couldn't help but be anxious during the crossover. He hadn't had to "share" much when the hermits were in empires (hermits wanted Grian to get a chance alone with his bf) & they all seemed nice, more then nice but he cant help but worry they'll be upset with him there. The hermits meanwhile cant help but admire both avians together and wonder if Jimmy will let them ravish him like their do their own birdy.

Jimmy thinks it's some part of his instincts playing up. Before they were on his territory, so it was fine for him to hog Grian a little bit! But now, he's on their territory, so they get first dibs.

And he gets to be surprised when their first dibs includes both of them - not just Grian. What do you mean they're interested in him as well?! When did this happen?!

Grian is just laughing at him. Meanie.

Ok, solidarian moment

Avians have different traditions and behaviors based on their species.

Grian being a parrot is a very social person. Very touchy and helpful. He has the need to preen his flock mates, and it's totally casual for him.

Meanwhile, Jimmy is a canary. For him, the act of prening is offering courtship.

So when grian offered to preen jim, and he agreed, grian didn't know what he was doing. Didn't know why jimmy was acting so off, full out blushing and being shy about it.

It wasn't until Jimmy asked him, "What are they, that it clicked for grian, and now it was HIS turn to get all flustered.

I will die if someone writes it. I will gen die and I won't shut up.

Hell, Grian encouraged Jimmy to push the minecart off the rails. He’d already used all the power he could to prevent the Boogeyman curse from taking away more than an hour of Jimmy’s time, of his life. But damn if he didn’t understand Scott and Tango a little bit more after Jimmy’s shoe slipped off the bridge and his face changed from a carefree yet tense smile to panic and horror to a look of terrifying acceptance. Then Jimmy hit the ground, and Grian didn’t even see the TNT blow up before lightning struck, thunder roared, and he woke up."

or, Grian finds himself stuck in a time loop, reliving the later third of the twenty-four hours they were given. All he knows is that Jimmy has to live, and that it's Grian's job to ensure his survival.
