"binnnn? binnie baby?? could you come give me a hand?" you call out to his waking figure, guilty that you had to wake him up but you were struggling to carry stacked boxes.
he sits up and groans briefly, not out of frustration but just needing to wake himself up a little more. he messes with his hair then fixes it out of his eyes, and though it was the cutest thing you've seen, your arms felt like they were about to fall off.
"what made you think you could carry all of these at the same time, hm bun?" his voice was slightly hoarse, scratching your brain in the best way possible.
he takes ahold of the box on top of the one you're hands are gripping onto, and the other two boxes are with him. he lifts them with a huff and gives you an incredulous look, in disbelief that you managed to even lift all three at the same time, even if it was for a moment.
"I just wanted to move things around quicker, we have only a few hours until your friends are over and I still need to hang up these decorations and then cook and the drinks!— oh my god I forgot the—"
"hey, you could've asked me for help. you know I'd be happy to help you." he kisses your forehead, passing by you and placing the boxes down where your head was tilting towards.
"I know! that's why I didn't tell you, binnie. because I know you're so tired and you need that rest. I wanted to see how much I could do things myself." you move over to the other side of the wall, placing down the box with a strong exhale.
once you stand straight you place your hands on your hips, bending your back as far back then forward as you can to stretch out the pain.
"I told you, you're too good for your own good." soobin says to you gently, walking over to you and holding onto your lower back, thumbs pressing into you in circular motions to relieve the tension. "and if you hurt yourself then I couldn't forgive myself when that could have been easily avoided."
"binn~ you're so dramatic, I wouldn't have hurt myself." you assure him. the pressure in his massage felt so good, you felt your head loll back and he lets out a chuckle.
"I'm just saying, I'm here to help you, baby." he kisses your shoulder from behind you, his hands trailing upwards until they rested a little higher up on your torso. "in more ways than one, just remember that."
you hum in agreement while soobin continues to spoil you with a little more gentle kisses fluttering along your left to the right side of your back.
"I- um, I think we should get back to decorating, bin." you straighten out your posture while soobin's hands are still lingering on your body.
"okay, the offers still up if you want to tonight." he hugs you from behind, swaying you a little side to side.
"sounds great, baby. then you can get some good rest after." you chuckle and soobin shakes his head at you.
"oh, there's no sleeping when I'm doing you."

i feel like hyth would be EXTREMELY good at poker bc he'd be able to pick up on peoples "tells" (aka the subconcious gestures that reveal whether or not someone is bluffing, or if they're about to play an excellent hand.) he loves observing people and their idiosyncrasies down to the tiniest detail, particularly when they're off their guard.

today I went out with friends, we walked around, talked, ate together and played uno <3 my feet hurt but I saw ducks !!
I wouldn't say I'm the happiest ever, but I feel very grateful (ㅅ´ ˘ `)

Happy 2.5 years and 2k followers to this blog
I’m grateful for the friends I’ve made and for meeting so many lovely people here, this place has always been a safe space for me and to think I’ve managed to interact with quite the loveliest people, I consider myself grateful indeed.
Thank you to those who admire my work and support me throughout, letting me share my thoughts and little stories with you! I did start this writing blog for fun and I’ve had so many doubts about keeping this up or not, but I get inspired and just think you guys would appreciate it as much as I appreciate TXT. Thank you for letting me befriend some people through this bond <3
I’ve been extremely busy with uni that the only things I have written and scheduled are two beomgyu-dedicated fics for this month and just plans for the 80s inspired txt fics that will drop randomly, so I’m sorry I don’t have anything prepared for this milestone 😅 But nonetheless, I never thought I’d reach over two years with this blog, never mind a following of 2k 🫶🏼🪷 thank you again!!

but oooooooh my favorite korean foods… i loveee 로제 떡볶이 (rosé tteokbeokki) a CONCERNING amount lmao like i eat it all the time 💀 with lots of cheese hehe. also korean fried chicken is no joke. so many unique flavors and so much better than any other fried chicken i’ve had. and yes 짜장면 !!!! jjajangmyeon is one of my favs too, and no you can eat it any time! there’s a 짜장면 restaurant right next to where i work so my coworkers and i go eat there a lot. another of my favorites is 닭갈비 (dakgalbi) which is like stir-fried chicken with veggies and 떡 (tteok, rice cake). i always add cheese and stuff to mine it’s so yummy 😵💫 there’s more that i could list but i’m rambling again LOL

“did it… freak you out?” he picks up a twig, fiddling with it instead of looking at you.
“little bit. but it’s okay. i still like you and stuff.” you smile, which gains his attention once more. his lips flicker upwards into a smile, eyeing you.
“yeah?”
“yes.”
“well that’s just great, sweetcheeks. still like me enough t’gimme a kiss or am i in the dog house?”

“God, Hoon, you’re embarrassing me,” you whined, covering your face from the way he was staring you up and down in this moment.
“It’s cute, though… watching you stress yourself out trying to dance like me when the pro's been one call away this whole time.”
The pro?, you thought to yourself, the self-proclaimed title being enough to snap you out of your bashfulness.
“I might’ve been practicing for a while, but I’m already doing some parts better than you,” you scoffed competitively, making him laugh at your words to the point where his dimples started showing.
“Cocky and shy? What an interesting combination… did you get that from me, too?”

“Oh, okay,” he chirped, watching as you started to dance out the steps to Fever, stopping when you got to the part you’d been struggling with.

The guy was quite literally laughing his ass off at you right now, feeling both a mix of embarrassment and flattery at your actions.

“It’s supposed to look sexy though,” you whined, knowing that it’d get him to hug you in response.

He sat his duffel bag on the ground, walking up to give you his usual ‘I’m home’ kiss and hug before responding, “Fine then… but you definitely need to keep practicing that footwork if you want me to take you seriously.”
“Heyyy,” you whined, playfully smacking his shoulder which only made him laugh at how adorable you look, “now who’s teasing?”

“I know you’re about to start spewing trash whenever you use made up words,” he scoffed with fake annoyance, trying to hide the smile tugging at his lips after seeing you dance so passionately.
“Stop, I can tell you’re smiling! Just admit that you’re impressed by me, Riki, and take the L… or W since you have a talented girlfriend…”
“Fine… you’re right… I am highly impressed… both by your dancing skills and choice of vocabulary,” he confessed playfully, giving you a side hug and kissing the top on your head.
