“Sister Beatrice,” Mother Superion calls from the doorway.

Beatrice nods without looking back, takes her hand away from the glass case holding the Cruciform Sword. She wipes fingerprints away with one sleeve, while the other brushes at tears as the tapping of the cane approaches.

Beatrice averts her eyes as Mother Superion speaks right behind her. “Even if everything we thought about the Halo was wrong, that doesn’t make Ava any less heroic — or worthy.”

“We didn't deserve her.”

“We never deserve the Warrior Nuns.” There’s a touch on Beatrice’s back. “Warrior Nuns love too much. It's in their nature.”

I can finally do this tag because I have actually Begun Crater City about a month ago! Yippee! Not sure if I have used these lines before, but they have since Changed.

First Line (Blair’s POV):

At precisely 36:02 AM, I pulled into the parking lot of the diner whose neon sign blared in all caps: CHEWIE'S FILL N’ DRILL. The retro, chromium charm of a diner compounded with the sharp edges of an enamel-coated family dentistry, I will admit, made for an inharmonious mashup. The holographic popup ads and luminescent graffiti plastered on the walls did little to no help in reconciling the structural/aesthetic integrity of the building. But I didn’t waste half of my tuition to become an architect, so I reasoned my opinion weighed little to no bearing. Besides, I was better at destroying things, not building things.

Last Line (Blair’s POV):

"I'm sure whatever [song] it was, [Elijah] played it damn good. I bought him that guitar, so he'd better get some use out of it," Frasier chuckled.

If anyone finds out that the victim spent the last night of his life with him, everything could be over.

A gritty cop drama AU.

a murderer is out there and a mystery is afoot. this grim cop drama starts how one would expect of a procedural, but rather quickly jumps the rails when di aziraphale fell takes matters in his own hands to both solve the case and keep his sexual identity out of the spotlight.

im so eager to uncover the mystery at the core, but also the slow building dynamic between aziraphale and crowley has it's hooks in me. flawed characters in a flawed situation, i cant wait to find what they uncover about the murder, and about themselves.
