here is my pitch for a mainstream movie trailer for disco elysium because i want you to suffer
Starts with complete darkness.
VO Ancient reptillian brain: “There is nothing… Only an ancient primordial blackness…”
“Radioactive” by imagine dragons starts playing
We see harry appear in this dark void, floating in slo-mo, camera slowly zooms into Harry’s face
VO Ancient Reptillian brain “Your consciousness ferments in it, no larger than a single grain of malt…”
Camera comes to rest on harry’s face, taking up the whole screen
VO Ancient Reptillian brain “No ex-wives are contained in it…”
Wham sound effect, music cuts out
Reaction shot of Harry opening his eyes. “Wait. Ex-wives?”
VO Limbic System: “Time to go to work in the shit factory!”
Sound of Kineema engine starting up that blends into the first lyric of the song
“I’m waking up to ash and dust” plays just as we see Harry open his eyes on the floor, Voice over plays as he looks around the trashed room confused
VO Harry: “Who am I? Why am I here?”
Clip of kim and harry shaking hands
Kim: “We’re detectives. We’re here to solve a murder.”
Harry: “I’m a police officer? I must be a superstar cop!”
“I’m breathing in the chemicals” inhale right as harry snorts some speed
Kim facepalms
Text in the disco elysium font on black screen:
HE’S LOOKING FOR ANSWERS
VO Joyce over a shot of the skyline: “Something is happening in this town, officer.”
VO Harry over numerous quick clips of him failing little things: kicking the mailbox, dropping the barbell, etc: “I’m an alcoholic. I’ve got a bunch of voices in my head. I don’t even know who I am! How do you expect me to solve a murder?”
VO Kim over him writing in his notebook: “I expect you to work, detective. It’s not easy; but thats the job.”
TO A MYSTERY:
Extremely fast montage of action or particularly striking moments synced up to a bunch of edited in bass thumps to the song– harry making the jump to get the coat, swinging to punch measurehead, visual calculus constructing a crime scene in glowing CGI effects, cuno shouting “fuckpig!” harry and kim dancing in the church, Harry reaching out his hand to the phasmid (who is out of frame), dolores dei turning away from the camera, culminating with kim lifting his gun in slow-mo to point at the mercenary
VO KIM: “Never fuck with Kim kitsuragi.”
Music slows and stops entirely
WHAT KIND OF COP IS HE?
Smash cut to a reaction shot of Harry looking in admiration. “How’d you get so cool, Kim?”
Reaction shot of Kim making a smug expression thats cut from a different scene.
Beat drop
THIS SUMMER IS GOING TO BE
Montage of different characters clipped saying the word “disco”
DISCO ELYSIUM
Wham shot, music cuts out. Harry leaned over a countertop about to lick the rum stain. Kim clears his throat.
Harry’s eyes dart to look up at kim. Shot of kim raising the eyebrow.
Slowly, slowly, he moves to lick the stain.
VO Electrochemistry: Aww, yeah.
Kim, sighing and shaking his head: “We’re all doomed.”
RATED PG-13

A/N based on this. I’ve actually had an idea to write something where Matty is in a relationship with a writer. Idk is this me soft-launching this couple? Is this just gonna be a one-off? We’ll see.
Warnings: mentions of anxiety.
— —
“Matty! Good to see you! Where is your better half, by the way? I’ve been trying to find her and congratulate her, but I don’t think I’ve seen her anywhere.” Her friend (a term she would use loosely here), the magazine columnist, approached Matty.
He felt sweat drip down his back and he listened to this woman’s shrill, disingenuous enthusiasm, trying to keep a tight-lipped smile the entire time. Stay calm, stay calm, don’t let anyone know you’re pretending. “Thank you, Maureen. Really. She’s uhh- around here, somewhere. Just busy. She’s the guest of honor, she’s got a million people to see today. You know how it is. I’ll pass along your congratulations, yeah? Excuse me, please.”
With a gentle nod, Matty extracted himself away from that woman and to the other side of the room as soon as he saw his girlfriend’s best friend. “Ashley! Thank god I’ve found you. Have you seen our superstar yet? I can’t seem to find her anywhere and she’s not answering her phone.”
“I was just coming to ask you that!” Ashley clutched his onto his arm.
“So, what we’re saying, here, is her book goes out into the world in a few minutes and neither one of us knows where she is?” Matty was officially panicking right now. His eyes darted around the room, scanning the crowd’s faces for her, but she was nowhere to be seen.
“Pretty much. For all we know, she’s not even in the building.” Ashley shrugged.
Something about that statement finally told Matty exactly where the love of his life was. “Course she’s not in the building!” He mumbled.
“What?”
“Nothing, never mind. Think I know where she is. I’ll text you if I find her. Just in case I’m wrong, though, maybe take another look around?”
Ashley nodded and walked off in the opposite direction, looking for mutual friends or book editors, anyone who might have seen her friend or knows where she is.
Matty studied the layout of the room, looking around for the fire exit sign. Once he’d managed to locate it, he opened the emergency door and took the stairs upwards, to the roof. If he had to guess, he would probably find her up there, smoking a pack of cigarettes that she’d stolen from him without his knowledge.
At the top of the stairs, the door to the roof of the building was open. Yup. He was right. She was up here. He pulled his phone out, texting Ashley that he had found her, and then he checked the time. They had twenty minutes until she needed to be in the room. He could work with that.
“Coulda at least told me you were going for a smoke break. I’d have joined you.” He called out to her as he walked up, taking his blazer off and wrapping it around her. It was cold out here in the open night sky, and her short dress wasn’t going to keep her warm.
She turned around, attempting to give him a smile, despite her anxiety. Silently, she offered him his pack of cigarettes back.
“Lighter?” He requested as he placed one in his mouth. “Thanks, my love.”
“How’d you know I was up here?” She asked, blowing the smoke out of her mouth and looking at the skyline.
“It’s where I would be if I were you.” He needed to approach this subject with complete delicacy. Despite her calm and collected act, Matty knew she was anxious right now, and he didn’t want to make it worse right before she had to go back in there and give a speech. “Oh, heads up. Maureen’s here.” His eyebrows shot up, watching her out of the corner of his eye as he stood next to her. “She’s been looking for you.”
She made a gagging noise.
“She seemed like she was gonna implode with jealousy.” He added, hoping he’d make her laugh.
She tossed the end of cigarette to the floor, stepping on it with her heel to put it out. She shook her head, “don’t know what she’s jealous about…”
Matty heard the strain in her voice and turned around to look at her, her expression breaking his heart. “Hey, baby, what’s wrong?” His brows furrowed.
“I- don’t wanna do this. Don’t wanna go down there. In front of all these people.”
“Baby-“
“I know, I know! This should be the happiest day of my life. It’s a dream come true. I’ve wanted this my whole life.” She’d been quietly spiraling all day, now that she’s started speaking, it was like the flood-gates had opened. She wasn’t even registering Matty’s attempts to console or comfort her. He’d tried to remind her that she worked really hard on this for two years. Tried to tell her that she deserves this night, that it’s okay to be nervous, but none of it seemed to make a difference. So, eventually, he gave up. He stopped trying to speak, and decided to just be there and listen.
“It’s not like I’m ungrateful! I know how big this is and how important this night is for my career. I just- I’m just-“ she fell quiet, frustrated that no word in the English language could possibly capture how she feels right now.
“Nervous?” Matty offered a suggestion.
“Nervous?” She shook her head. “Matty, I’m fucking terrified! Look.” She stuck her hand out, showing Matty that it was shaking relentlessly.
The sight made a wave of pain jolt his heart. He couldn’t stand to see her like this. He couldn’t watch as she trembled and do nothing. He grabbed her shaky hand in his, kissing it.
“Oh, honey. Why didn’t you talk to me sooner?”
“I- I didn’t- I didn’t want it to be true. I wanted the fear to go away. I just wanted to be happy.”
Saying the words out loud finally made them true, she felt tears running down her face. “Oh, fuck, now I’ve ruined my make up, too.”
Matty wrapped his arms around her. “No, no you’ll ruin your white shirt! Matty!” She attempted to push him away, but he wouldn’t let go.
“It’s okay, my love. It’s okay. I’ve got you. Who cares about the shirt. Just, let me hold you, okay? Let me.”
She took her first deep breath of the day. “I just don’t want this to be a disaster. My parents are here. You. George and Charli. Ashley and her brother-“
“Don’t mean to interrupt but Adam and Carly found someone to watch the baby. So they’re here too.” He tried to make her laugh, it seemed only to make things worse. “Sorry, sorry. Go
On?”
“I’m saying….I don’t want to let them down. Or my editorial team or my publishers! So many people’s livelihoods depend on this book, not just mine. And, everyone who’s loved me and been patient with me, and supported me through this. Everyone who didn’t laugh in my face when I said I wanted to be a writer, everyone who gave me feedback, helped me work out my ideas and make them real…the room is filled with everyone I love-“
“And Maureen.” Matty grinned. This time, she laughed.
“…and Maureen.” She rolled her eyes at him. “My point is, this is the most important thing I’ve ever done and I have never been more scared to share it with the world. This whole time, it’s been my little dream. And as long as it remained that way, it couldn’t disappoint anyone. But now that it’s becoming a reality, right in front of everyone….oh my god! Book reviews are gonna start coming in soon! What if they’re not good?”
“It’s okay.” Matty’s armed tightened around her, knocking the wind from her lungs. “You’re gonna be okay.”
“How do you do it? Every two years?” She spoke, her moth next to his ear as he continued holding her through the panic.
“Do what?”
“Release a new album! It’s your innermost thoughts and feelings in audio form and you just release into the world where people will judge it and critique it and tear it apart. How? How’d you do it when ‘Self Titled’ came out?”
he let her sleep out of his arms so he could step away and look her in her glassy eyes.
“Oh, honey. When we put out self-titled I don’t think anyone cared. Nobody knew who we were back then. Your situation’s slightly different cuz you’ve actually written pieces here and there. People know who you are.” Matty smiled at her but he could tell that his words only served to remind her of the looming expectations of the masses. “Ask me about ‘I Like It When You Sleep,’ though.”
She sniffled, wiping the tears out of the corners of her eyes. “Okay…umm, what was it like when you came out with ‘I Like It When You Sleep’ ?”
Matty, took her hand again, squeezing it and rubbing his thumb over the back of her palm, soothingly. He knew it brought her comfort in situations like this. He looked up at the sky, as if the past were written in the stars. “It was….the most terrier I’d ever been in my entire life. As you know, George’d had this…anxiety during the making of the record. Cuz he felt the pressure of the world watching. He went a bit insane and lost confidence for a long time. For me, that didn’t happen during the making of….it happened after. I was so scared people would hate it.”
“So, how’d you deal?”
“Drugs.” He said without missing a beat.
She smiled in spite of herself. “Okay, unless you have some cocaine in the pocket of this blazer you’ve given me….”
He kissed her forehead. “That’s not what I mean! I’m not done yet.”
“Sorry, go on.”
“The day before the record came out, I had…a similar nervous breakdown to the one that you’re having.” He winked at her. “I started thinking about the record and what I would go back and change about it if I could, whether I had any regrets or made any creative decisions that I was now questioning….”
“And?” She looked up at him with her big, beautiful eyes, expectation written all over her face.
“Honestly? Not a single thing. Wouldn’t change a damn thing.” He finally looked away from the starry night and directly in her eyes, making her blush at the intense gaze.
“Would you go back and change anything?” She considered his question for a moment, thinking about the various drafts she’d gone through, the rewrites, the choices to cut some pages and add others. A feeling of calm enveloped her as she spoke “nope. not a damn thing.”
“Then, you’ve got nothing to fear.” Matty smiled, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her into him. “No matter what the press says, no matter how tonight goes, no matter how booksales go…you’ll know you made the right decisions and did what’s best for the book. Not what’s selling these days, not what’s trendy, not what’s popular. You know what else?” He kissed her cheek, wiping the wet tears that had been drying on her face away.
“What?”
“ your mind is brilliant. Anything that comes out of it is completely stunning. If the world can’t see that, then the world can go fuck itself.” He spoke with the softest tone, as if singing a lullaby.
She giggled and shook her head. “Biased!”
“Hey, baby?”
“Yeah, Matty?”
“Put your hand in the inner pocket of my blazer. I got you something.” A bright smile erupted accords his face.
 She took out a sheet of paper, frowning. “What’s this?”
“Your first 5 star review! Go on, read it!”
“The- the New York Review of Books?
Is this real?!!!!” She was stunned. “Matty, I swear if this is a joke, then-“
He chuckled loudly. “It’s not a joke! It’s just not out yet. Comes out next week.”
“How did you? When did you? What-“ she stuttered, her tongue unable to keep up with her racing mind.
“I have a music journalist friend who knows someone over at the NYR, so….didn’t know what to get you as a publication day present. Figured this would do.”
Matty watched her squeal with joy, dance around the roof, and eventually jump into his arm and hug him tightly, whispering “I love you” repeatedly into his ear and kissing his cheeks and neck.
“If you’d given it to me earlier…could’ve spared us both the meltdown.” She noted when she’d eventually calmed down and had a moment to think about it.
“I know. But I wanted you to feel better because you’d thought about it and decided to believe in yourself and your book. Not because some guy from a fancy publication thought you were worthy.”
He melted her heart. As if she weren’t already in love with him. She wrapped her arms around his waist, hugging him by his side. “That’s the sweetest thing that anyone’s ever done for me.” She kissed him.
“The fancy publication is quite nice, though, isn’t it?” She grinned, beaming like a ray of sunshine. A remarkable difference from the cowering shadow of herself that had been crying and fearful a few moments ago.
“You have no idea how proud I am of you.” He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, giving her a peck. “C’mon. It’s almost time. We gotta fix your runny makeup.”
“Hold my hand until we get there?” She reached her hand out to him.
“Of course. You’re gonna be alright, my love. If you get scared, think of me. If you feel panicked, look for my face in the crowd. I’ll be the one in the front row, crying tears of joy.”

Between Shadow costume being added to Sonic Superstars, and Shadow Generations being a thing,,,,,, My theory is that these games will introduce us to Classic Shadow as young Shadow in his Generations levels. What do you think?
Well, since making that post theorizing on levels, I've thought about it a bit. I rewatched the teaser, broken down parts of it in my head.
So what's going on in the trailer?
(A lot of images follow.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It opens simply enough: we see Shadow on the Ark. Time frame is unknown. There are GUN robots everywhere, but that's not necessarily an indication of anything. These could be leftovers from the raid 50 years ago, so this could be modern day, this could be Sonic Adventure 2, this could even be a flashback to that raid.
Tumblr media
We see Shadow, mid-Chaos-Control, kicking some kind of device or possibly even a warhead away from the Ark. It seems like some kind of nose cone of a rocket, but there's also a big window or door on the side.
Tumblr media
The next thing we see: Shadow's still on the Ark, running down a very similar corridor he met Sonic in right before their final race. He runs into Doom's Eye, who seems to emerge out of a black and red portal.
Tumblr media
Doom's Eye gestures like he's saying dialog, but we can't hear it. His eye bulges and rolls around before the creature flies away and the Ark disintegrates around Shadow. It disintegrates to reveal Westopolis, where Shadow first met Doom's Eye.
Tumblr media
But it's a crazy, hallucinatory, Dr. Strange fractalized version of Westopolis, the whole city folded in on itself, buildings jutting up towards a skyline that goes in all directions. Doom's Eye returns to taunt Shadow some more and we see a bit of Shadow running around this Westopolis, the strange broken city still in the background.
Tumblr media
What this says to me is that we're going to open on The Ark (Shadow's investigation), but the game is going to transition seamlessly into Shadow in Westopolis. This is probably all one level, and Doom's Eye pulls Shadow through time, possibly to a broken, impossible version of the past.
I think to some degree this is going to try explaining why parts of Shadow (the game) contradict each other. If some readers out there don't know, that game has ten different endings. Each ending is about Shadow understanding a different version of the truth about who he is and where he comes from. Some endings directly contradict each other, like there are two different endings where it's implied Shadow kills Dr. Eggman, and others where he does not do that.
Once you see all ten endings, the game's true final boss unlocks and you get one last 11th ending to tie everything together... except this last leg of the game confusingly picks and chooses different elements from the other ten endings to canonize, suggesting Shadow somehow simultaneously experienced multiple conflicting endings and remembers them all.
(By all accounts this does not seem to be intentional, that game was just held together by chewing gum and duct tape.)
Given that Chaos Control has actually straight up allowed time travel in these games, it wouldn't surprise me if this is going to comment on how confusing that was, and either attempt to untangle or at least explain why it was so confusing.
The very next shot we see is Shadow back on the Ark, fighting The Biolizard at the end of Sonic Adventure 2, but things are different now.
Tumblr media
The Biolizard has all these tentacle-like shredded wires coming out of its back on either side, which weren't there before. The arena is much more enclosed, too, with a tiled roof evoking the echidna temples in Mystic Ruins.
It's worth mentioning that we see a shot of what looks to be the very start of the boss fight, where Biolizard seems to drop out of the sky, landing in front of Shadow. It's tough to see through all the water, but the wires aren't there yet.
Tumblr media
The fight probably starts out evoking its original battle, and then shifts to introduce new elements, such as when the Biolizard climbs up on the roof around the arena:
Tumblr media
Here we see The Biolizard covered in some kind of purple goo, shooting a litany of projectiles at Shadow, who returns with a Chaos Spear shot.
We see various rapid shots of Shadow in Chaos Control breaking some kind of glass orb. All of these appear to be at different points during the Biolizard fight, as you can sometimes make out parts of its body or the arena around Shadow. (Meaning this is the glowing red core on its back)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If this is a thing about either Black Doom or Shadow trying to rewrite history and change Shadow's past, I don't know if I see much room for switching to a Classic Shadow. And, historically, in the lore of what we know, was there even a Classic Shadow to be seen?
Like, Shadow was grown in a lab and we've only ever seen him the same age as Sonic. To that end, Shadow himself is effectively immortal. It has been said many times that Shadow has "eternal life." And that's partially because Shadow isn't even a "real hedgehog."
Or he's not a hedgehog like Sonic is. He is a "bio-mechanical android." This means he looks like flesh and blood but a non-trivial portion of his body is a robot, a fact these games almost never comment on or explore in any capacity. But it's the whole reason Eggman had all of those Shadow clones in Heroes and later the Shadow game -- they were technically robots, not actual animals.
I didn't consider it at the time, but whether he's Young or Old, he is going to look exactly like he does right now. You even see this in the games:
Tumblr media
When Shadow knew Maria on the Ark 50 years ago, he looks exactly like he does now.
Tumblr media
And then, in Sonic 2006, Mephiles shows that humanity grew to fear Shadow and locked him in a prison. This particular scene is 200 years in the future, but the imprisoned Shadow in the purple cage has not aged a day.
I don't think there will be "Classic Shadow" levels, and I don't think "Final Chase" and "Westopolis" will even be separate levels.
This could go in some really weird directions.

R&R 3
After stealing a cop car, Eddie and the boys high tailed it to New York. That’s where the next Vecna concert was going to be. Which meant that Steve would be there. They drove nonstop, only pausing to switch drivers/gas up/get snacks. When Eddie was driving they didn’t even stop for the bathroom.
“Piss out the window for all I care.”
“Sounds like you care a whole lot, man”, Crash said. “About Steve.”
“He should! He was literally kidnapped!”, Jeff exclaimed.
“Kidnapped, yeah. I bet he saw all those zeroes and fell right into ‘Lord Vecna’s’ lap”, Eddie sneered.
“You know he’s not like that”, Jeff said. “There’s gotta be another explanation.”
“I don’t know”, Gareth said, opening a bag of chips. “Steve’s a good guy but he does come from luxury. Maybe he misses it.”
“Either way we’re gonna find out”, Eddie pressed down on the gas.
While they were just passing the New York state line, Steve had already awakened in New York. The power and and speed of air travel and all. He felt disoriented for about three seconds before realizing what had happened. He grabbed what was closest, an ugly looking vase, and smashed it against the head of the suit who had been standing with his back to him.
Steve was about to break for the door when another he didn’t see grabbed him from behind.
“Good little boys should behave.”
“Let go of me! Where am I?! Where’s Creel? That bastard!”
Steve got harshly thrown to the ground as the blinds were opened and the New York skyline was revealed to him. He was in the lair of a beast. His friends were miles away. Steve pushed back the voice that said his father was right.
“Stay put. And maybe we’ll feed you later.” The suit picked up his friend and then left Steve.
He reacted too slowly, only rushing up to the door once it was closed and pounding on it to no avail. He was locked in here. He went over to the window. It was a very, very long way down.
“I can’t just stay here”, he said to himself while, looking at the bed he’d awakened on. The sheets wouldn’t get him far, but it’d be a start, right? He looked around and saw a vent. One that was actually big enough for him to crawl through.
Steve pulled the sofa chair over right under the vent. With a grunt, he opened it and hoisted himself up. Once he was up there, he just started to crawl, hoping that eventually he’d find his way out. The vents had to exit somewhere, after all. While trekking, he heard Henry and paused at an opening. He was shirtless, and sticking out of his back were slimy, writhing tentacles. They slithered around the dark room as Henry spoke. But Steve couldn’t see anyone else in the room.
“I have found the voice. The one that will bring you into this world...I know. I will make him sing. And your coming will be upon us....You must tell me if there is anything...anyone who can stop me.”
Steve bit his lip as he listened in closely. There had to be something that could stop this guy.
Henry rolled his head around. “No one? There is no one?”
Steve could barely make out the devilish smile of triumph on his face. As quietly as he could, he continued to crawl. That couldn’t be true. No one? Well if there was no one, he just had to get ghost. If he wasn’t in the man’s clutches, he couldn’t force Steve to sing and summon whatever demon was possessing him.
It took quite some time, but Steve managed to find a way out. He kicked open the vent and came out in an alleyway. The towering building loomed overhead, as did others. He had to get out of town, find some way back home, back to Eddie and their friends.
There were tons of people on the street on a normal day but it seemed extra congested to Steve. As he went down the sidewalk, his eyes caught a poster in a tattoo shop. It was for Henry-Vecna’s concert. But under the glowering face of the superstar it said ‘And Introducing: Eve’ along with an artist’s rendering of Steve’s face. When had this been done? How long was he out? Steve felt disoriented. He didn’t even really know what day it was anymore.
He kept going, any distance between him and Henry was a good thing.
----------------------
“Let’s ditch the car for now”, Eddie said as he parked it in an alley. “Don’t wanna run into any trouble while we’re here.”
“What? Us? Trouble?”, Gareth grinned cheekily.
“You know it just occurred to me...”, Crash started, “How exactly are we supposed to find Steve?”
Jeff grabbed one of the many Vecna posters that line the buildings. “This says exactly where he’ll be and when.”
“Yeah, but I’m not waiting until showtime”, Eddie said. “Let’s get in the general area. Steve could be out and about right now. Rubbing elbows with New York’s eeeelite.”
“You still think he betrayed us”, Jeff sighed.
“Some people only know how to look out for themselves. Explains why he was so hard-pressed to play his song that night.”
“Eddie, have you ever really listened to Steve’s song?”, Gareth asked.
“I played it with him, didn’t I?”, Eddie stomped away, not wanting to talk about it anymore. It was just a bunch of soft rock lovey-dovey bullshit. And he loves Steve-loved?-but it totally clashed with their usual sound and who the hell was he thinking about when writing it anyway?
Jeff frowned. “Dude, for someone who worships the ground he walks on, you don’t really appreciate what he does for you.”
“Steve!”, Eddie suddenly perked up.
“Yeah, the guy you don’t deserve. That’s who we’ve been talking about.”
“No! Steve! There!” Eddie pointed to where Steve was just ahead, barely visible in the crowd of New Yorkers. Steve gave a shifty look, like he knew he was being followed, and ducked into the nearest building, which happened to be a club.
“Time for us to get some answers”, Eddie said resolutely.

Back then...learning how to be a part of your cast.
Now, learning you're eager to do anything to rid me of it.
"Why do you guys bully me so much? What have I ever done to deserve this?"
"At first I hated you for being so favored by management. Now, I pity you. You're stupid and naive. A pawn."
~~~~~
I CAN ANIMATE, YALL, THIS TOOK SO LONG TO ANIMATE, OH MY GOSH. Have some Theatrics Interpreter! I'm in the phases of how much can i spoil without spoiling too much yknow? I finally have the whole storyboarding for this fic on lock so now I'm juggling my options, ahaha
Tumblr media
That's you! You're classified in the system as a performer/entertainer! Otherwise known as an animatronic human employee, a part of the attraction, wearing the face of Fazbear Entertainment! There's only two of you in the building, just like the ye olde days! How much time flies, huh?
There's a mistake, in there, as you're Y/N literally every day of the week, aside from Saturday. Saturday is when you perform at your area of the Pizzaplex; Skyline Superstar Theater and Restaurant, the rebuilt Superstar Theater, which has been released to the public with another official 'animatronic', added to the cast!
Human staff hate you! Animatronics hate you! What a sad sad tragedy you're playing in, huh...
When Worlds Collide - The Early Merger Era of USCR
Tumblr media
I remember when I was in high school I would always try and get my school's "Car Club" up and going. I'd post flyers, give announcements over the PA and ask the teacher lending us the room for help with ideas. Unfortunately it was only ever me and one other classmate who would occupy the classroom at lunch, never really finding a single person to share my rather obsessive interest with. There was this one other kid, a senior at the time, that would be at one of the computers in the class room looking at spotters guides of some sorts. At the time I was solely a NASCAR fan, not really paying much attention to other forms of motorsport. I knew Super GT existed thanks to Gran Turismo 5, and of course there was Formula 1 but I never feigned too much interest in it. So when I peeked at his screen I noticed that it was what known as the Tudor United Sports Car Championship at the time. Of course, I didn't know what it actually was at that time. My small little NASCAR infested brain had never heard of this series before -- and that's because it was a completely new idea, birthed from years of two separate American sports car series competing for the same audience throughout the 00s and early 10s. The American Le Mans Series was much like the rest of the ACO sanctioned championships across the globe, using state of the art prototypes and factory GT efforts to fill their grids. However, by the end of the ALMS era there was a clear struggle to fill the prototype grids, with only a literal couple of P1 entrants running in any given race weekend.
American Le Mans Series Cars speed around the hairpin turn during the Saturday afternoon race at the 35th Annual 2009 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach
flickr
The Grand-Am Road Racing Series was the complete opposite of the sleek and sexy cars ready to travel to France every June. Their top class were these tube frame "prototurtles", which in their first year looked more Florida man rather than Florida endurance classic. However, what they did have in their pocket was the iconic Daytona 24, which throughout its years would play host to multiple big time NASCAR superstars hopping in to turn right for the first time in a few good months. Their GT cars were also a bit non-orthodox for that matter too -- whereas you had Porsches and Corvettes battling it out for top honors literally shoulder checking each other Grand Am boasted Pontiac GXPs and Mazda6s... though, admittedly they were also tube frame based machines.
Tumblr media
So when the merger news came about, obviously it was a pretty big shock to everyone's system. I mean, how the heck would these two completely different types of series fit in with one another given that Daytona Prototypes were literally pieces of metal put together to look somewhat like a race car in comparison to the prohibitively expensive prototypes that literally no one could afford to run these days... but maybe that's what sports car racing needed. After years of having to recover from the sudden decline of the sport (thanks Bernie) everyone was kinda doing whatever the hell in their own corner, with the BPR scurrying off into their own corner trying to make their own flavor of sports car racing before getting blown up by some guys from Stuttgart that would create so much baggage for Stephane Ratel that he garnered a hate boner for factory teams, the ACO still hanging onto the Le Mans 24 with its ever changing prototype category that once literally got gamed by those same German assholes from Stuttgart a few years earlier, the guys in Japan having to make a completely new regulation after their prototype series just kinda died off which even led one team fielding a 962C against some Skylines... America just kind of had to go their own way. And we all know the trope of the USA saving the world.
youtube
Tumblr media
I mean, the mere sight of seeing these brute beasts with their loud and brash V8 motors running alongside these sleek and sexy prototypes is enough to get anyone the least bit interested just for the weird factor. The racing it gave wasn't too bad either.
Tumblr media
The premise of these awkward Daytona Prototypes bumbling through the bumps of Sebring just like their European brethren is worth the price of admission itself. And we haven't even gotten to the rest of the field! You had the infamous Prototype Challenge category that would provide the race with its full course yellow quotas and almost down right dangerous levels of idiocy, but they're just honestly trying their best. Of course, there was also the ever iconic GTLM field with multiple factory GT teams duking it out going all touring car on each other battling for 2nd to last, while the GTD class derived from the Grand-AM GT category had its own oddities that would be simply wrong to look over. The 911 GT America is a car that seems to come out of someone's fever dream that I wouldn't be surprised if it came up in a /r/ThomasThePlankEngine post. There was also the R8 LMS with the teeny ass wing. I don't know why I remember that, but it's always so funny to see that specific car show up in Forza games when there's literally newer R8s to feature.
Tumblr media
youtube
Even the calendar itself was a "greatest hits" of both series, with both sides having to play on each other's grounds with the Daytona 24 and the 12 hours of Sebring being the big crown jewel events. Of course, you also had the rest of the endurance races that both series managed to carry over, the 6 Hours of the Glen from the Grand-Am side and the Petit Le Mans over on ALMS' side. Long Beach and Belle Isle were two street courses that both series brought along that would prove to be marquee events, and something of an interesting tidbit that I would be remiss to mention would be the Prototype Challenge only race at Kansas Speedway. Yeah. That layout. You know the one.
Tumblr media
The Daytona Prototype mix of cars lasted up until the end of 2016, which would bring the beginning of the new era of sports car racing. While I don't have great opinions on the DPi platform, it nevertheless influenced the current resurgence of the prototype category, whilst the growth of the global GT3 regulation made up by our good friend Stephane Ratel would occupy the GTD category and would go on to encompass the entire field, becoming one of the many influences that would make it replace the declining GTE class as the top global grand touring class in the world. Indeed, the United part of the United Sports Car Championship really did become reality -- though it probably had a far bigger outreach than they initially expected. Or maybe it was their intention from the get-go. Who knows. Anyways, take a look at this Daytona Prototype.
Woodstock Vision
The Spirit of a Generation
Elliott Landy
Zweitausendeins, Leipzig 2019, 223 pages, Hardcover with dust jacket, German, 25.4 x  28.58, ISBN  978-3-96318-033-0
From the legendary cover of Bob Dylan's Nashville Skyline, through the Woodstock festival, right down to the pictures for The Band's new compact disc, photographer Elliot Landy has had his finger on the pulse of the Woodstock Generation. He was there before the famous festival, hanging out with Dylan and The Band; he became the photographer of record at the festival itself; and he still lives in the town of Woodstock today. To coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Woodstock Festival (which originally took place on a farm in Bethel, 90 minutes away), Landy offers a celebration, in word and image, of what he calls the Woodstock Vision, "a way of thinking and being that created the time so many look back on as the most important period of their lives - a time that not only continues to inspire them but that has been embraced by a younger generation as well." All the superstars are here in Landy's intimate backstage and onstage glimpses of rock's heyday: never-before-published images of Dylan and The Band, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Joan Baez, Van Morrison, Richie Havens, and more. There are also other photos from Landy's career (celebrity parties, peace demonstrations) which highlight the idealistic vision of the counterculture.
Skylar's room design 💙
Tumblr media
Simple, relaxed, and cozy.
Her room isn't on Rockstar Row, so she doesn't have the big window like the main four greenrooms do. It's just down an employees only hallway at the Skyline Skating Rink, first door on your left.
She spends a lot of time in here, playing her guitar while enjoying the glowing stars on her walls that she got from the Daycare. (They were unused, she wasn't stealing!)
Close ups and other details under the cut (warning- it's long)
Close ups of Skylar's room and the stuff in it 🩵
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(please excuse the awful quality on the close ups 💀)
Drawings on the wall by the door! ↓ :D
Tumblr media
Other things ↓
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thank you to everyone for the art that is now forever on her wall, it's by far my favorite part of the room 🫶 @ar1-thecat @crashfnafstuffs
The only ones I can't tag, because they're on Instagram, are @//joeygodfrey06, @//tori.themagical.gachacat, @//kurapikachu_vulpixachu, @//kareljiriwagner, @//ashleydrawssss, and @//freddyteddysfnaf, but I still want to thank them even though I don't think they're on Tumblr :) 💕
You're all amazing people and artists!!🌟💞🌟
*Hope y'all don't mind the tags, I didn't know what else to do to credit you guys😅
The other drawings and things are my own!
Now for my second favorite little detail :)
The reason Skylar has the Ursa Minor (aka the Little Dipper) constellation above her door is because in my AU when Vanessa comes along, she takes all the animatronics out of the Pizzaplex for the first time on a "just need to get outta the house" or "camping" trip... while they're out there, they see stars for the first time (because you can't see the stars anywhere near a city and I'm totally not salty about that-!). Vanessa tells them about constellations, and what they are, and Skylar becomes very fascinated with stars. When they learn what Ursa Major and Minor are about, Freddy just kind of adopts the nickname "Little Dipper" for Skylar.
Since Gregory's already sealed the deal with "Superstar", and no one else gets that nickname but him, I figured why not give her her own unique nickname that's only used for her?
And thus, a father and daughter got to bond a little more while soft glowing stars were hung in the shape of the Little Dipper.
If you just read all of that, thank you for taking the time to do so 🫶
Time: 4 hour and 37 minutes
In 2019, the skylines of many American downtowns were sparkling with new construction. Hudson Yards in New York, the Frost Tower in San Antonio, San Francisco’s Salesforce Tower, the futuristic Amazon Spheres and surrounding towers in Seattle, and thousands of other buildings were all part of the more than 100 million square feet of new office space built in the United States just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] Demand for cities seemed stronger than ever.
Flash forward four years. By now, COVID-19 has claimed the lives of over 1 million Americans and raised new questions about another potential casualty: Is the pandemic, particularly its impact on the nature of work, taking down the American city? Nowhere is this fear more pronounced than in the nation’s “superstar” cities and their shiny downtowns.
This specter of an office real estate apocalypse, “urban doom loop,” transit death spiral, or “ghost towns” is filling some urban observers with existential dread. So too are reports of rising crime and unsheltered homelessness in downtowns. However, this fear is not new, nor is it destiny.
But this dread should prompt public and private sector leaders to reassess. In fact, they have an opportunity to seize this moment to chart a new future for American cities—one that reimagines downtowns as prosperous and inclusive places that advance shared prosperity across all neighborhoods.
A group of public and private sector leaders in some of the nation’s largest cities—New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Seattle—have come together at Brookings Metro to do just this. These leaders were at the forefront of inclusive growth before the pandemic, and are now working with Brookings Metro and each other to identify policy, practice, and governance solutions that can be the seeds for the next generation of shared prosperity in downtowns, cities, and regions.
The Game Awards rankings from Most to Least Deserved
Game of the Year
Baldur's Gate 3
Honorary Mention #1: Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
Honorary Mention #2: Remnant 2
Honorary Mention #3: Lies of P
Marvel's Spider-Man 2/The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Both are equally fantastic. Even if I prefer the above, I would be perfectly cool with either of them winning.)
Alan Wake 2
Super Mario Bros. Wonder (This game is good but be serious.)
Resident Evil 4 REmake (RE4 is an excellent game and this remake is no different. However, there's not enough distinction to warrant it hogging a spot this list. It already got its praise and attention when it came out. Let other games have their chance.)
Best Action/Adventure
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 (As much as I love me some Venom Spider-Man 2, there's no other game that embodies both Action AND Adventure than Zelda.)
Alan Wake 2
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
Best Action
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon (Though it was snubbed from GOTY, hopefully it gets its flowers here.)
Remnant 2 (ditto)
Hi-Fi Rush (While I personally wouldn't put it as my GOTY, I think it deserves it more than Mario and RE4.)
Ghostrunner 2
Dead Island 2
Best Adaptation
Castlevania: Nocturne is my favorite out of these choices right now. That said, depending on the writing in future episodes, that could soon change.
Honorary Mention: Five Nights at Freddy's movie (Makes 0 sense for the snub. We all know y'all gonna give it to TLOU anyway. It's not like our votes matter.)
The Last of Us show (Outside fnaf, probably most deserving ngl)
Super Mario Bros. Movie (very fun movie)
Gran Turismo movie (amazing visuals)
Twisted Metal show
Best Family Game
Super Mario Bros. Wonder (My gripes with it being GOTY nominee aside, it's still a great game.)
Pikmin 4 (great)
Sonic Superstars
Best Fighting
Street Fighter 6 (sweeps)
Mortal Kombat 1
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2
Best Mobile
Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Didn't play the rest, but I do like Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Best Performance
Honorary Mention: Tony Todd was robbed. He's absolutely the best Venom voice actor. He would be my favorite performer of the year.
(Incidentally, can we have Robert Englund as Carnage?)
The rest on this list are all equally great. Don't have a preference.
GOTY aside, Charles Martinet should host this particular award.
Best RPG
Baldur's Gate 3
Lies of P
Honorary Mention: Hogwarts Legacy (If you, along with the gaming media, are perfectly fine/tolerant with Zionists, racially insensitive games ((or sell their products off of racist imagery)), millions of games with white protagonists killing black/brown people ad nauseum, games that exploit heavy misogyny ((bonus points if they casually use rape or domestic violence)), etc. being nominated; you should have no issue with this game.)
Final Fantasy XVI
Sea of Stars
Starfield
Most Anticipated
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Hades 2
Star Wars Outlaws
Tekken 8
Best Sim/Strategy
Pikmin 4 (only great game)
Fire Emblem Engage
Cities: Skyline 2
Company of Heroes 3
Advance 1+2
word count: ~2.6k
warnings: tooth-rotting fluff
synopsis: Ten and Yangyang go on a world tour together <3
The city lights glowed softly outside Yangyang's window as he sat hunched over his desk, a mess of papers scattered around him. His room, dimly lit by the glow of his computer screen, was filled with the soft strumming of a guitar. Yangyang, an aspiring songwriter with dreams as vast as the city skyline, was determined to make his mark in the world of music.
In the midst of composing lyrics, a message notification popped up on Yangyang's screen. It was from Ten, the global superstar and the person who had discovered Yangyang's talent through a chance encounter on social media.
Ten: Hey Yangyang! How's the music coming along?
Yangyang: Hey Ten! It's a work in progress, you know how it is. How's the tour going?
Ten: Amazing, as always. But I wanted to talk to you about something. How about we collaborate on a song? I love your style, and I think our vibes would mesh well.
Yangyang's heart skipped a beat. Collaborating with Ten? It was a dream come true. The two exchanged ideas and melodies, each note and lyric crossing borders effortlessly. Despite the physical distance between them, music became the bridge that connected their worlds.
Days turned into weeks, and soon they had created something magical. The song, titled "Harmony Beyond Borders," embodied the essence of their collaboration. Yangyang poured his soul into the lyrics, while Ten added his electrifying vocals, turning the composition into a masterpiece.
As the release date approached, anticipation built on social media. Fans speculated about the collaboration, unaware of the magic that was about to unfold. The day finally arrived, and "Harmony Beyond Borders" dropped, instantly capturing hearts worldwide.
The music video showcased Yangyang's creative genius and Ten's mesmerizing presence. The song climbed the charts, breaking records and earning praise from fans and critics alike. Yangyang's dream had become a reality, and Ten's support had played a pivotal role in making it happen.
In the midst of the success, Ten and Yangyang found time to meet in person. The once-aspiring songwriter and the global superstar sat together, reminiscing about the journey that had brought them together.
As he approached, Ten said, "Yangyang, you've got a gift. I'm grateful we could create something beautiful together."
"Bro, you believed in me when no one else did. This journey has been freaking incredible."
Their friendship continued to blossom, and the world eagerly awaited their next collaboration. For Yangyang, the aspiring songwriter, and Ten, the global superstar, the harmony they created went beyond borders, proving that dreams could come true, no matter where you started.
Over the next few months, Yangyang and Ten found themselves entangled in the whirlwind of fame and creativity. Collaborating on "Harmony Beyond Borders" had opened doors they could have only dreamed of. Yangyang's small studio transformed into a creative hub, bustling with musicians, producers, and endless possibilities.
Their next project was ambitious—an entire album that would showcase not only their individual talents but also the unique chemistry they had discovered. The process was a rollercoaster of emotions, late-night sessions, and countless revisions. Through it all, Yangyang and Ten discovered a profound understanding of each other's artistry.
As the album neared completion, Ten suggested they take a break and celebrate in person. Yangyang eagerly agreed, and arrangements were made for him to join Ten on his tour. The prospect of meeting in person added an extra layer of excitement to their collaboration.
The day of the reunion finally arrived. Yangyang, with his suitcase filled with notebooks, pens, and his trusty guitar, boarded a plane to join Ten at one of the tour stops. The energy backstage was electrifying, a combination of the anticipation of the concert and the reunion of two creative minds.
When Yangyang entered Ten's dressing room, there was a moment of silent recognition. The virtual connection they had shared was now manifesting itself in the tangible world. Ten, with a warm smile, enveloped Yangyang in a hug. ”Welcome, Yangyang! It's so good to finally meet you in person.”
"Same, Ten! This is surreal. I can't believe we're doing this..."
The tour offered Yangyang a glimpse into Ten's world—crowded arenas, screaming fans, and the adrenaline rush of being on stage. It was a stark contrast to the solitude of his studio, but he found inspiration in the energy of the performances.
During one of the tour stops, Ten surprised Yangyang by inviting him on stage for a special performance of "Harmony Beyond Borders." The audience erupted in cheers as the duo delivered a mesmerizing live rendition. It was a defining moment for Yangyang, who felt the collective energy of the crowd fueling his passion for music.
As the tour progressed, so did their bond. Late-night conversations about life, dreams, and the intricacies of their craft became a routine. Ten shared stories of his journey to stardom, the challenges he faced, and the importance of staying true to oneself. Yangyang, in turn, opened up about his humble beginnings, the struggles of pursuing a career in music, and the joy he found in creating.
On a quiet night, after a particularly exhilarating concert, Ten and Yangyang found themselves on the rooftop of the venue, surrounded by the city lights below.
"You know, Yangyang, this journey reminds me of why I fell in love with music in the first place. Collaborating with you has brought back that spark," Ten said, gazing at the stars.
"It's the same for me. Your belief in my music has been a game-changer. I never thought I'd be standing here, sharing the stage with you," Yangyang replied shyly, fiddling with his fingers.
Ten gazed softly at the younger. "Sometimes, the most unexpected collaborations create the most beautiful art. Our differences, our backgrounds, they all add layers to our music."
Their conversation lingered in the crisp night air as they discussed the power of music to transcend boundaries and connect people from different walks of life.
The tour wrapped up, but the creative journey was far from over. Yangyang returned to his studio with a heart full of inspiration and a notebook filled with new ideas. The collaborative spirit between him and Ten continued to evolve, pushing the boundaries of their creativity.
In the following months, as the album took its final shape, Ten and Yangyang faced the challenges of balancing artistic vision with commercial expectations. Tensions arose, but their shared passion for music and mutual respect for each other's talents helped them navigate through the storm.
The album, titled "Eclipsed Harmonies," was a testament to their artistic growth. Each track told a unique story, weaving together their individual experiences and perspectives. It was a sonic journey that resonated with listeners around the world.
The release day was a celebration of their hard work and dedication. "Eclipsed Harmonies" soared to the top of the charts, earning critical acclaim and solidifying their status as a dynamic musical duo. Fans, old and new, embraced the album for its authenticity and the genuine connection between the artists.
As they embarked on a promotional tour for "Eclipsed Harmonies," Yangyang and Ten found themselves at the center of attention. Interviews, photo shoots, and live performances became a routine, but amidst the chaos, they remained grounded, grateful for the journey that had brought them together.
One evening, as the promotional tour took them to a vibrant city, Yangyang and Ten found a moment of respite in a cozy café. Surrounded by the soothing aroma of freshly brewed coffee, they reflected on the whirlwind of the past year.
Yangyang took a sip from his straw, slowly stirring the cup with his hand. "Who would've thought we'd come this far? From a chance encounter online to creating an entire album together," he said, hardly believing it was true.
Ten chuckled, setting his cup down. "It's been an incredible journey, Yangyang. I feel like our music has a life of its own now at this point."
Yangyang smiled. "Yeah, it's like our songs have become a soundtrack to our journey, connecting people in ways we never imagined."
Their conversation drifted to the challenges they faced, the creative breakthroughs, and the impact their collaboration had on their lives.
"You know, I've been thinking," Ten paused, gathering his thoughts. "Why stop here? Our collaboration has only scratched the surface. What if we push the boundaries even further?"
Yangyang leaned forward, intrigued by this strange proposal. "What do you have in mind?"
"How about a joint world tour? Take our music to every corner of the globe, experience different cultures, the works!"
The idea sparked excitement in Yangyang's eyes. The prospect of sharing their music on a global scale was both thrilling and daunting.
"That sounds incredible, Ten. But can we pull it off?" Yangyang asked nervously, swirling his cup more aggressively.
Ten reached out and grabbed the brunette's wrist, grinning with barely-tamed madness. "With our passion and the power of our music, there's nothing we can't achieve, little sheep. It's about creating experiences, leaving a mark, and, most importantly, enjoying the journey."
And so, plans for the "Eclipsed Harmonies World Tour" began to take shape. Yangyang and Ten immersed themselves in the intricate details of the tour—choosing venues, designing stage setups, and curating a setlist that would resonate with fans worldwide.
The first leg of the tour kicked off in Asia, where they performed in bustling cities and intimate venues. The energy of the crowd, the diverse fanbase, and the shared love for music transcended language barriers. Each concert became a celebration of unity through music.
As they crossed continents, Yangyang and Ten encountered different landscapes, cultures, and musical influences. The tour wasn't just a performance; it was a cultural exchange, a meeting of hearts through the universal language of music.
In Europe, they played in historic theaters and outdoor festivals, absorbing the rich musical history and forging connections with local artists. In South America, the rhythmic beats of the music and the passionate fans added a fiery intensity to their performances.
The tour reached its peak in North America, with sold-out arenas and fans camping outside venues for days. The journey became a whirlwind of emotions, from the highs of standing ovations to the quiet moments backstage where they reflected on the impact of their collaboration.
During a break in Los Angeles, Yangyang and Ten found themselves on a rooftop overlooking the city lights. The tour had become a shared adventure, a testament to the power of collaboration and the ability of music to transcend borders.
Yangyang, looking at the city below, grinning, said, "Who would've thought we'd be standing here, Ten? From our small studios to conquering the world together."
"It's a wild ride, but I wouldn't have it any other way. We've created something special," he responded, smiling in turn.
As the tour concluded, Yangyang and Ten returned to their respective corners of the world. The memories of the "Eclipsed Harmonies World Tour" lingered, and the impact of their music continued to resonate globally.
Back in his studio, Yangyang reflected on the journey. The collaboration with Ten had not only shaped his career but had also transformed him as an artist. He found new depths in his songwriting, a broader perspective in his music, and a lifelong friend in Ten.
As they took a well-deserved break, plans for the future loomed on the horizon. Collaborations with other artists, solo projects, and the promise of more music together kept the creative flame burning.
The "Harmony Beyond Borders" that began as a single song had evolved into a life-changing collaboration, a testament to the magic that happens when two creative souls come together. For Yangyang and Ten, the journey was far from over, and the harmony they created continued to echo beyond borders, resonating in the hearts of fans worldwide.
As the echoes of the "Eclipsed Harmonies World Tour" settled, Ten and Yangyang found themselves facing a new chapter in their lives. The music industry continued to beckon with opportunities, collaborations, and solo projects, but amidst the whirlwind, a realization dawned upon them.
One evening, under the city lights of Seoul, where it all began, Ten and Yangyang found solace in a quiet café. The air was thick with unspoken sentiments, and as they sipped their coffee, Ten broke the gentle silence.
"Yangyang, these past months have been nothing short of magical. Our journey together has been everything beyond my wildest dreams."
"It really has, man. I can't believe how far we've come," Yangyang said, sipping on his frappe contentedly.
Ten cleared his throat, then placed his cup down on the table. He looked down, avoiding Yangyang's gaze, saying, "There's something I've been meaning to say. Throughout this journey, I've discovered not just a remarkable collaborator in you, but a kindred spirit, someone who understands me in ways I never imagined."
Yangyang choked on the coffee in his mouth and met eyes with Ten, and in that shared gaze, the unspoken emotions hung in the air. Yangyang blushed, breaking eye contact after long seconds of a staring contest (in his opinion).
Ten spoke softly now, careful not to scare Yangyang away. "Yangyang, I truly care about you deeply. The connection we have goes beyond music, and I can't help but wonder if there's something more..."
A quiet realization settled between them. The bond that had blossomed from collaboration had transformed into a deeper connection—one that transcended the harmonies of their music.
Yangyang broke the silence, saying, "Ten, I've felt it too. This journey has been more than just two bros making music together. Can I be honest?"
"Of course, what is it?"
"I'vehadacrushonyouforthelongesttimesowhenImetyouIcouldn'tbelievethatmyluckwasthatgoodandIconvincedmyselfthatwe'dbenothingmorethanfriendsbut-" Yangyang took a breath, laughing at himself. "What I meant to say is, I'd like to take this a step farther as well."
Ten reached across the table, gently placing his hand on top of Yangyang's. The warmth of the touch conveyed a silent understanding that words couldn't capture.
Ten: (softly) Yangyang, would you consider taking this journey with me, not just as collaborators but as something more?
Yangyang felt a surge of emotions. The answer was written in the unspoken language that had woven their stories together—an undeniable connection that went beyond the confines of their professional lives.
"Ten, I... I feel the same way. I'd love to explore what this connection means for both of us."
And in that moment, amidst the quiet hum of the café and the city lights flickering outside, Ten and Yangyang embarked on a new chapter of their lives. The romantic symphony that had silently played in the background now took center stage.
Their relationship unfolded like a love song, filled with harmonies that resonated through every shared glance, every tender touch, and every quiet moment spent together. The world continued to witness the magic of their music, but now, there was an added layer—a love story that transcended borders, cultures, and the constraints of ordinary lives.
As they navigated the complexities of fame and personal connections, Ten and Yangyang found solace in each other's company. Late-night studio sessions became shared moments of creativity and intimacy, and the stage transformed into a platform where they not only showcased their musical prowess but also celebrated their love.
News of their relationship eventually reached their fans, who embraced the romantic chapter of their story with open hearts. The public responded with overwhelming support, celebrating the union of two souls who had connected through the universal language of music.
The years that followed saw Ten and Yangyang continuing to make music that touched the hearts of millions. Their love story became an inspiration, a testament to the idea that sometimes, the most beautiful melodies are written when hearts beat in harmony.
And so, under the city lights where their journey began, Ten and Yangyang stood together—collaborators, partners, and lovers—harmonizing not only through their music but also through the symphony of their shared lives. The "Harmony Beyond Borders" that started as a song had evolved into a love story for the ages, proving that in the vast universe of possibilities, sometimes, the most extraordinary connections are found in the most unexpected places.
