Went hiking with a friend last weekend; we did a trail that goes across three different mountains (Barania Góra, Malinowska Skała and Skrzyczne). Walked from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (so, the final 15 minutes of the hike was in the dark, lol. I had the opportunity to use the headlight that I barely ever use - and if I do, it's for missions such as 'find a thing on the wardrobe floor' not walking in the woods - and learn that it's profoundly shitty and I need a better one). My legs feel like they've developed PTSD and will probably need another 3-5 business days to recover.

10/10, would go again.

Wczoraj Klimczok, a poszliśmy się tylko przejść :)

To się przeszliśmy, 10 km, BigT w dużej mierze z Frr na ramionach, wróciliśmy już gdy było ciemno…

Dzisiaj już delikatniej - wjechaliśmy na Skrzyczne i przeszliśmy do Malinowskiej Skały i z powrotem. 8 km.

Jutro planujemy już tylko rowery :)

For my activity this month, I went for a mountain trip. Together with my friends and family, we were in Szczyrk.

There are many amazing routes around the Beskids. The first trip was to Malinowska Skała and then Skrzyczne. These were two aims that we set. We did around 16.50 km and climbed 188 flights.

Reflection: It was challenging to accomplish the aims that we set up. Generally, climbing mountains is my favourite sport when you can totally rest mentally around the nature. I am proud that we did it.

9.08 - Activity - Przełęcz Salmopolska - Malinów - Malinowska Skała - Małe Skrzyczne - Skrzyczne

This was one of my favourite trips of the holiday. Our rental house was about fifteen minutes of straight ascent from Przełęcz Salmopolska, which meant that we just left the house and went hiking. Skrzyczne is the tallest mountain in Beskid Śląski, so I was very excited to climb it, and we did, more than once. The other great thing about it was after we’d climbed Skrzyczne, we came down using the ropeway, which was an incredible amount of fun, as I absolutely love them.

In the era of new technologies, it’s hard to forget about everything, because normally you have plenty of different things to do like: go to work, doctors, send your children to school and whatever.. The short reset is a good idea to forget about everything? The answer is: I don't know but why not? The problem is when you start to reset yourself too often. The effects are the same, I mean this is boring, and your creative skills are going down. Or if you switched off the power, this is not a normal reset, but ‘hard reset’, sometimes it’s an accident.

My resets are when I could meet with my friends, drink a little or not, play music together or not and next day go to the mountains or not. So this is maybe not too healthy like drinking alcohol and next day with the hangover go to the mountains. But yes, this is what I normally used to do with friends in the place where I grew up.
