Somebody ended up getting Charmed during the fight with Nere and I'd overlooked it, meaning that an attack of opportunity got triggered when I ran Zumara past him, oops, and I imagine she was none too pleased about that.

Ghost accidentally elbowing you in the face during sexy time
The mood obviously broken, but goddamn the profuse apologies and general tenderness that ensue might just be worth it
When he gingerly presses the ice pack to your nose, double, triple, quadruple checking you’re okay 🥺
That’s it, send tweet.
Definitely Not based on real life experiences tonight

yaknow i wish people didnt act like having areas of skin that are different shades was a feature exclusive to black peoples hands like, thats a really noticable area so when people get it wrong its pretty obvious but even in white people the palms of your hands are a noticably different color then the back
skin color is not even on literally anybody you are always going to have variations in shades and undertones in different sections of your body and when trying to draw skin more accurately that really shouldnt stop at just using a lighter shade on the hands of ur poc chrs
im white so i cant speak abt darker skin tones that much, but i think that people rlly need to stop acting like stuff like having variations in skin shade is a feature exclusive to them everybody has melinin and its gonna be distributed acrosss your skin differently always and you trying to be more accurate in how u draw skin shouldnt end at instagram info graphics abt how to draw black people better you should be looking at photos and at yourself (even if youre white, black people are not a different species and traits can & do apply to both groups) and trying to notice various features because thats always gonna give you a more accurate picture of things

the fact that you can still get skin cancer even if you're diligent about sun protection (10% of skin cancers are not sun-related) is so frustrating
like yeah I'm going to keep doing it to SIGNIFICANTLY reduce my risk but! damnit I'm out here weeping over ruined printed cotton collars from my sunscreen and you're saying I'm still not 100% safe?! bullshit!

In response to the Nettles-obsessed fans who somehow found their way in my inbox with a very colorful language:
“A skinny brown girl on a skinny brown dragon.”
“[…] her teeth were crooked, her nose scarred where it had once been slit for thieving. Hardly a likely paramour for a prince, one would think.”
- Fire & Blood
I definitely agree with that last sentence.
As if the Valyrian beauty-obsessed Daemon Targaryen would ever consider this girl someone fit to share his bed. Those who actually believe that need to take some personal time to read the book and understand the Rogue Prince and his preferences.
The only fit woman for this Dragon Prince is a Dragon Queen named Rhaenyra Targaryen.
I am super done with this constant obsession over a common girl named Nettles for the sole reason that she is the only canon black character of the story. These people are acting as if her being black somehow entitles her to the charming, handsome, roguish white prince who should totally leave his wife for her (even though it goes against his character). The filth called “White women are evil and their white husbands should cheat on them with black women because they are clearly better” is one of the things very wrong with society these days.
Take a spoonful of common sense and leave the political agendas out of my inbox!

There's something so insane to me about being able to create and recreate vintage or even ancient music, clothes, fabrics, building architecture, anything, really.
I watched this video about a lady who knit a WWII-era vest, and it was really unique, because the cable work would eat up yarn, when there were shortages of fibers. This pattern would have likely been used by people to send overseas to soldiers, and now it's being created in a time where this war has been over for generations. What were the people making this pattern thinking of? What about the people making the vest? Could they fathom a world where world wars didn't happen back to back? Could they imagine what peace felt like, or did it fade like a distant memory, a faint friend? All we have now are the remnants of their efforts, a "simple" vest that would warm the bodies of countless people the knitter would never have imagined were here on earth with them.
We're reaching across time to learn about other people - we're reaching our hands out just to grasp anything tangible. And when we've take hold of something, all we can do is say I love you I love you I love you
