My mom passed away recently. She is the Wonder Woman in my life. I am at peace with her death. I saw her several hours before she passed and she was living life without a care in the world. She always been that way. She had no regrets, no worries, and she told her before we died she was very proud of all of her kids. I can remember that smile like it was yesterday. Her funeral was yesterday afternoon and the number of people who came from all over simply amazed me. My mom truly impacted the lives' of so many people.
The post my best friend made a beautiful post on how is felt yesterday. It will be something I will always treasure.
'Today was the funeral of Mrs. Barbara Collins. The service was absolutely beautiful. The reverend knew her personally, and that allowed for anecdotes rather than a generic script. One of her grandchildren spoke and shared fond memories, which were so heartfelt.
Mrs. Barbara always said what was on her mind and didn’t mince words. I really respect that quality in people. Despite this, she was always kind to me. I remember her sewing buttons onto my shirt when Dri and I cosplayed Skies of Arcadia. Facebook shared with me this morning a group photo she took at her house many years ago before Zombie Prom. It was an absolute pleasure serving as a pallbearer for such a strong and genuine woman.
It was a very emotional day, as my grandmother also battled breast cancer. I know the pain the family is dealing with. They are handling it extremely well. Please pray for their continued strength.
Finally, I’d like to share a piece of the reverend’s message: Be good to one another. Tell them you love them while you can.
May you rest in peace, Mrs. Barbara. Don’t make fun of us too bad up there.'

Thanks to her Let’s play video and cosplay, now every time I think about this two I remind Alandria. xD

For some reason I recently started thinking about how I associate each season with certain games because of when I first played them. Except for spring though, it doesn’t have a very distinct feel as it just feels like that awkward time between winter and summer when I’m not sure if it’s warm enough to wear shorts lol
Summer makes me nostalgic for games like Harvest Moon a Wonderful Life and Animal Crossing. There was a time in middle School that I was obsessed with these sort of life simulation games. I guess it was easy to lose a lot of hours to those games, and as a kid on summer vacation I had plenty of free time for that lol
There’s also Persona 3 that I played a lot one summer. It was around the time I started cosplaying Junpei. I was going to like every convention as him and I made a bunch of con friends who were also really into Persona. So that summer I’ll always remember as “the summer of Persona.”
Also summer is peak baseball season, so naturally around this time of year I become more interested in playing MLB The Show.
Fall I associate mostly with Sonic Adventure and World of Warcraft. Two birthday presents I was most excited for growing up. I was obsessed with Sonic when I was a kid so I was super excited to play a 3D Sonic game. And WoW was my first online gaming experience.
Also for some reason I associate the fall with Skies of Arcadia. It wasn’t a birthday present, but I clearly remember the first time I played it. A friend showed me, and I guess it sticks out in my head as one of the first JRPGs I played. So that game may have sparked my obsession with the genre.
Winter I associate with Tales of Legendia and Tales of the Abyss. I got both of these games in my later highschool years and I still can’t remember if it was junior or senior year. But at the time I was going through some really tough personal stuff, and these games really helped me cope. And honestly I think they’re part of why I didn’t hate highschool.
Sonic Unleashed I also associate with the winter just because it came out around that time of year and it was the first Sonic game of its kind. Pretty memorable experience.

I got to play this game for the first time this year on my twitch channel (with Cee, our Vyse, helping me through discord) and wow how charming and wholesome it was! I didn't grow up with a GameCube, so I'm so glad that streaming has been able to open my opportunities to play games I never got a chance to as a kid.

God I need to get Skies of Arcadia again (Legends- the Gamecube port- I never had the Dreamcast original) It’s one of my all-time favourite RPGs and one of the most influential games on me as a teenager.
It was a really kind surprise present from my Mum, I hadn’t even asked for it or anything and ended up loving it so much. The exact same happened to me with OCARINA OF TIME, my all-time favourite game.
Vyse was my first ever cosplay, and probably my most successful one.
God, I just... really wish I still had that game. It’s so special to me. I lent it to a friend and never got it back. I’d really love to 100% complete that game, there was still tons of optional bosses and extra stuff to do outside of finishing the story.

A maior feira de jogos eletrônicos da América Latina, cuja 12ª edição acontece entre 9 e 13 de outubro, no Expo Center Norte, em São Paulo, fará diversas ações ao longo do ano e durante a primeira etapa, focada nas mudanças da marca, utilizará prioritariamente as mídias digitais, com peças animadas e um filme de um minuto que mostra o sentimento de novo start. Todos os conceitos e detalhes da campanha de marketing da BGS 2019 foram criados em parceria com a agência Dia Comunicação.
Uma das vozes mais famosas e adoradas da indústria do games está confirmada na 12ª edição da Brasil Game Show, que será realizada entre 9 e 13 de outubro, no Expo Center Norte, em São Paulo. Charles Martinet, dublador de personagens icônicos dos videogames, como os encanadores bigodudos Mario e Luigi, retorna à maior feira de games da América Latina após ser escolhido pelo público da edição de 2018 como a personalidade que mais gostariam de ver novamente no evento. Martinet estará na BGS em 10 e 11 de outubro e terá uma agenda repleta de atividades, como sessões de meet & greet gratuitas, painel sobre sua carreira no BGS Talks e concursos de cosplay, onde será jurado.

Norte-americano, Charles Martinet se dedica à carreira de ator há mais de quatro décadas e ganhou projeção mundial com a dublagem de Mario. A relação do ator com o personagem vem desde o início da década de 90, quando, por indicação de um amigo, participou de um teste para interpretar o protagonista bigodudo da Nintendo em um sistema de animação ao vivo em que interagia com o público em tempo real. A voz de Martinet pode ser ouvida em mais de 100 jogos do Mario e também em outros títulos, como Skies of Arcadia, Shadow of Destiny, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bit Trip Runner, Tiger Woods, PGA Golf e Senhor dos Anéis.
