While I'm well aware the Gil Ryder romance is not perfect, (I don't need to be reminded fandom) as a gay guy, there were parts of it I did enjoy but what I appreciated the most was Gil just being an average guy. He was good looking but he wasn't a flawless stud. As an average guy I appreciated that. There is no way I could post this on my own blog because I would get a lecture even from those on the fandom who live on my side of the fence. As I said, I know its not perfect and I'm well aware guy men are treated like an afterthought. But I still appreciate Gil and my Ryder just being average guys who found each other. And I don't think I should be shamed for appreciating that.

He tries to find certainty with a certain smuggler from Kadara, but after he learns about Reyes’ identity finds he can’t be with him. He tries to bury his feelings in an affair with Peebee, but soon discovers his feelings for Gil.

The story follows mostly Scott’s journey throughout the game but also gives insight into Gil’s journey and how he deals with the dangers Scott faces on his missions.

Main plot points aren’t described in detail, but the story missions are teased or the outcome is discussed in conversations.

On the path of learning bookbinding, finishing with gold is the hard part for me. In Vietnam, we dont have the traditional in bookbinding, of couse, we dont have the technique for gilding on leather. From manual book, I had learn too way to making the "size" for gilding on leather, the egg glaire and the shellac base. Last time I am success with shellac but failed many time with egg glaire. So happy, to day I totally success with it, the gold completly stick on leather with sharping edges. CONFESSION:

So I know when MEA first came out there were visual issues like with faces and such. They fixed it pretty well with the patch but I know people still complain about the faces being weird when they smile and stuff. And I can agree on some of it, but also in a weird way they look more human than I’ve ever seen.

Like one of the most human moments that I love (not sure if you see it if you’re not romancing Liam), is when you’re getting ready for one of the big missions, Liam and Ryder are goofing off with dorky smiles and making cheesy jokes about falling from heaven and Gil gives a sly smile in the background. The pair joking has faces that I know me and my friends have had cracking up over the dumbest jokes. And yeah this scene would’ve been fine with “normal” smiles, but it just feels more real with these dorky smiles.

I’m not saying the games animations are perfect and some times the face someone makes doesn’t match what’s going on at all (Ryder why are you grimacing right now??) but after playing it again and watching others play it, I’ve really come to appreciate the dorky, awkward smiles everyone has.
