Camille Dress
Sorry for the silence on my end, I had a lot of issues (flooding, tons of heat, etc), but now i'm enjoying a well deserved vacation and I had the time to finish this dress and a few other items (and good lord, simblreen is coming up too...)
So here is the Camille dress! This truly deserves the term "frankenmesh", since it contains parts of a dress of Sifix, of a shirt by Simverses, and by a dress by Linzlu! A big thank you to all these creators!
It's a day dress for your sims, good enough to spend a morning in it, or even to pay some calls to the neighbors!
Tumblr media
includes parts from Sissi's Dress by @linzlu, the TSM Bard Blouse by @simverses and the Cressida Dress by @sifix (thank you to everyone 💕)

VITD Sims Lookbook: Alice
And finally, with Victor and Smiler done, we finish off with some looks for our lovely Cutter, Alice!
Tumblr media
Alice gets straight into the custom content with one of her everyday outfits, wearing the blue swatches of the 1890s Working Girl set by @vintagesimstress! And unlike the last time I showed her in this outfit, this time she has the apron overlay to go with it. XD Looks good on her AND gives her the proper working-class vibes!
Tumblr media
For bedtime, Alice gets a pretty nightgown -- and much like Smiler, while they're not era-appropriate, I had to give Alice the cute bunny slippers too. XD What, we know she likes white rabbits! If I remember correctly, that nightgown is a dress that comes with the Cottage Garden Fan Stuff Pack made by @plumbobteasociety -- I thought it looked nice as nightwear for her.
Tumblr media
For that semi-formal party everyone's going to, Alice gets a Realm of Magic top and skirt that make her look at least somewhat respectable. While I think the outfit as a whole is a little pale, I really wanted to use that top on her -- I think she looks good in it. And the skirt ended up working with it pretty well (which is good, because it took me ages to find one that actually went with the top. Some of this shit is HARD to match, let me tell you!).
Tumblr media
And for a formal occasion -- well, unlike the boy and the non-binary person, Alice doesn't need to rely on CC here. Get Famous provides a beautiful Victorian dress for her to swan around in! (Though I should probably download a few for her anyway, for variety's sake -- or at least a couple of hats that might go well with this outfit. Head looks a little naked here!) She looks ready for a day in Brightstone, doesn't she?
Tumblr media
Okay, admittedly I didn't intend this outfit as an athletic outfit, just another everyday one (though I suppose Alice COULD wear it for working out). And this Cats & Dogs dress is probably a little too modern to fit the proper BITD vibes. But I really like it for the simple reason the patchwork skirt looks like something Alice made herself -- finding and saving up scraps of fabric so she could have something else to wear besides her iconic striped blouse and black skirt. And you can't deny, it DOES look good on her!
Tumblr media
And finally, for those chilly days, Alice gets in on the cozy vibes with a cherries-and-flowers theme -- the sweater (and I believe the skirt) is from Cottage Living, while the hat is a recolor created by Plumbella (from "illegally downloading clothes for my sims," in this SimFileShare folder (as you might imagine, it's the one called "beret")). She looks pretty comfy -- and those boots were definitely made for stomping around the streets in the snow and rain.
And that's that! Hope you enjoyed this look at what my VITD characters would probably wear in their universe. Next time (after Valicertine's Day), we're back to the Chill Valicer save for store shenanigans and magic shenanigans! See you then!

Some townies I downloaded + the children I gave them. They have names and birth years, but I need to pick dates! I was hoping I could get some feedback on what astrological sign they look like to people who haven’t been staring at them for months 😵‍💫
I’m also looking for middle names if you have ideas!

Inna Cents - townie makeover
Inna Cent appears in trailers and promos for  The Sims 4: Vampires and could be load from Maxis gallery. I was pretty upset she was not an official townie of  Forgotten Hollow, cause there is smth interesting in her backstory and relationship with a sassy vampire Caleb. Anyway I can imagine my own LORe for her.
Occult sims are most fun to makeover because you can play with fashion and choose for them the most unusual and non-realistic fits. For Inna I choose some looks inspired by Biedermeier\Victorian period, because she probably was turn in to vampire at second half of 19th century. And her prototype surely was Lucy Westenra (from 'Dracula' 1992). But I add to her kinn list two fictional ladies who's also like yellow and historical dresses - Edith Cushing (Crimson Peak) and Belle (Beauty and the Beast) which suits more to her shinny and gentle personality and fashion choices. Roses and butterflies as symbols of her innocent soul
I'm trying not to change face features and keep the original EA genetics. But I changed Inna's skin and make her more pale. Because for me she is not alive anymore and can't be that peachy pink, because her blood system doesn't work. And I hope this doesn't look like 'white washing'

Known Problems:
The sleeves on the shirtwaist (lace one) may clip with the arms that are underneath, as they're semi-transparent. I did the best I could and I only encountered minor clipping, but I wanted to let you know!
The skirt will work with all tops encountered on this set! I'm not responsible for clipping or bugs encountered with other tops you might use!
If you find any more problems, please let me know!
LIGHTING GLITCHES ONLY APPEAR ON CAS!
Note that teens and elders have neck gaps. This is sadly the price for having them available! For teens, try using this slider by gruesim!

Roughly a week of pain, sweat, and tears later, I have concocted my first ever Sims 4t2 conversion. She ain't perfect by any means, and one day I will probably redo this mesh completely, but I thought I would put her out into the ether in case anyone else wanted to share in her imperfect glory.
If you've known me for any short period of time, you've heard me bemoan about the lack of mid-19th century bodice and skirt silhouettes. Too empire this, too bustle that. I've spent hours upon hours wishing that I loved the sims 4 more than I do simply so that I could have a historically-accurate silhouette. And then I saw @theroyalthornoliachronicles releasing dresses daily for Advent, and I knew it was time to learn blender and milkshape and the 12 other applications it requires to make 4t2 possible (I wish I were exaggerating--holy cats). I've come away with so much awe and appreciation for all of you CC creators.
The mesh functions just fine in game. There are some imperfections at the collar/neck, and you can see a bit of white poking out from one of the sleeves (I had to remove the inner white sleeves because I truly thought I was going to die, and I am not being dramatic). The texture could be cleaner, too. Like I said, not perfect, but good enough for my Victorian townies even if they aren't leading ladies.
Thanks, as always, to @simbury. She, among other marvelous folk over at the Historical Sims Discord and even a bit at the PBK Discord, walked me step by step through the majority of this process despite our wild time differences. She even took my raw file and fixed my stupidity at one point. Go tell her she's a regency rockstar.
Comes in seven dark-academia, rich and plain colors loosely based off the Historian Palette. Behold, Robe de Raymonde.

On the seventh day of Christmas, simstomaggie gave to me…
12 Days of Christmas - Jo Anna Dress
Welcome to my annual 12 Days of Christmas, this time with (probably mostly) Victorian galore! I hope you’re having a lovely festive season and that you find some peace in these trying times…
This dress for little girls is for any occasion really: going on a walk with Nanny, playing in the garden with your siblings, or when you spend that hour with Mama and Papa after Tea, you'll always be dressed appropriately. And even if Nancy Landgraab comes by without notice, she'll have nothing to complain about.

VITD Sims Lookbook: Smiler
Hello all! As promised at the end of my last Chill Valicer Save update, this week I'm showing off some "Valicer In The Dark"-inspired looks for my OT3 that I made at the end of last year (on Christmas, in fact -- I was in the mood to play with CAS that day). Let's dive right into it with our favorite Slide/Leech (Sleech, if you will) Smiler, shall we?
Tumblr media
Starting with another variant on what I consider to be their "standard" VITD outfit (as seen in previous posts like this one), this one without the hat and with belted pants instead of just button-up ones. I think I prefer Smiler having the belt to not having the belt, but *shrug* Well see what happens going forward. That yellow waistcoat and the yellow shoes are always a must, though -- thank you High School Years!
Tumblr media
For bedtime, we have some very Smiler pajamas -- and while bunny slippers probably DON'T fit the "vaguely Victorian" aesthetic of Blades In The Dark, I had to give them to them anyway, because come on. XD Though maybe I should give them a different color of bunny -- do they come in black? I'll have to check at some point in the future.
Tumblr media
For those parties that require at least a semi-formal look, we have this outfit! Looking at it now, I'm thinking that it may be a little too dark -- the shoes and pants together in particular look a bit too plain -- but I like that purple waistcoat on them. Nice alternative look to the yellow one!
Tumblr media
And if you need to go full "visiting Brightstone" formal, here's Smiler in a full Victorian day suit! Specifically, they're showing off one of the outfits from the Men's Day Suit Collection by @simmerofthedawn! (Plus one of the recolored top hats they did with their first collection of men's suits.) I really appreciate that SimmerOfTheDawn made sure to include a healthy number of swatches with all these outfits -- including a few good yellow options, as you can see here. Yeah, the shade's a little darker than I'd normally like for Smiler, and I kinda wish the jacket was black instead of dark gray, but hey -- it still really works for a Smiler-about-town!
Tumblr media
By contrast, here's Smiler's extremely casual athletic outfit, for those times when they're planning on doing something that they know is going to make them pretty sweaty. It's just something to throw on, then throw in the washtub afterward! Again, wish I could have found a proper yellow swatch for the shirt, but you can't have everything. And if this is meant as a "don't care about my appearance" outfit, it doesn't really matter anyway. :p
Tumblr media
And finally, a Smiler for those chilly days in Duskwall (which -- is most of them, because NO SUN), wrapped up in a nice thick sweater. :) Really like the bit of yellow striping -- Smiler doesn't get enough stripes to play with in their outfits! Mostly because they're almost always the wrong colors. *sigh* We need more good yellows and good yellow stripes in this game! My roller coaster Sim demands it!

Victoriana!
Today after a small request from @victoriansimmer, which I ran away with in my usual manner, I present 7 dresses for your mid Victorian sims (ish, I make no claims to historical accuracy).
3 come for TF-AF and 4 for TF-EF, on fixed Sussi meshes by me.
Textures by Andavri, Heget, AAS, @jacquiesims, HistoricalSimsLife, silverbelle, and Aelia. These come in all 28 colours of the Historian Palette.
First up is Banded - based on an AAS design and sort of military-esque.
Second is Working Girl - basic and with an apron. Not that kind of working girl.
Next is Ballgown - insanely proud of this. A refit of an AAS texture with some ruffles and ribbons.
Then we have Floral - a recolour of an AAS texture with added fripperies.
After that is Tabitha - the dress that launched 1000 cupcakeyys (ie; where I started spiralling). Based on Silverbelle’s travelling wardrobe originally, but ended up retexturing essentially all of it.
Prairie is next - so named as it was originally an AAS prairie dress which i loved the lace collar on.
and lastly we have Her Way - the original dress Kristen asked me to recolour (sort of). Fixed up some of the textures that haven’t held up in the last... 15 years.
HUGE thank you to Kristen for taking the previews as well! You did an amazing job I had a hard time picking only 10.
Download as one big file because I am lazy. If someone really wants an individual dress, let me know.
