The sims 4: Lepacy Challenge

Rules:

* To move on from a generation your sim must complete their lifetime goal or get to level 10 of career (unless specified otherwise)

* Only play in houses you’ve never played in before (can be cc)

* Can use money cheats but you must pay all money back (either using a mod that allows sims to take out loans or by using money cheat to remove the amount of money owed from family funds)

* Any debts you owe must be payed before ending the generation

* Mods are allowed

Generation 1: Base Game (Willow Creek)

- Start your new challenge by making a sim and moving them into Willow Creek!

- Join a base-game career

- Date around! Get to know the townies more

- Become at least level 4-5 in your career before settling down

- Have a scandalous love-affair with Bob Pancakes

- Have Bob Pancakes divorce Eliza and get with your sim in order to live the life he’s always dreamed of having

- Complete your lifetime goal OR level 10 of your career

- Have at least one kid

Generation 2: Get to Work (Oasis Springs)

- Join your sim on their daily work adventures! (Doctor, Detective, or Scientist)

- Have an affair with a coworker (or a couple ;))

- Accidentally get pregnant and have your baby daddy be not supportive

- go through messy breakup

- Level up your photography and baking skill

- Meet the love of your life and settle down

- Get to level 10 of your career

- Have at least one kid

Generation 3: Get Together (Windenburg)

- Play with things for Outdoor retreat and spa day which also came out this time

- New traits like insider and dance machine and Leader of the Pack aspiration

- Join or create a club!

- Meet with your club at least twice a week

- Take on other Sims in foosball, darts, and Don't Wake The Llama

- Have a bonfire

- Level up the DJ and Dancing skill

- Have fun partying with your sim until they’re ready to have a child (either on purpose or accidentally)

Generation 4: City Living (San Myshuno)

- Dine out! The dine out expansion also came the year of this pack

- Move into an apartment and work your way up to a penthouse

- Become a politician or a critic (food or art)

- Go to all of the festivals

- Level up the new singing skill and become a city native

- Make friends and go on a lot of dates!

- Have at least one kid

Generation 5: Cats & Dogs (Brindleton Bay)

- Move to Brindleton Bay and Adopt a pet

- Become a vet and eventually run your own clinic!

- Train your pets as best as possible

- Take in a stray animal

- Complete Friend of the Animals aspiration or level 10 of vet career (if you have the mod)

- Reach level 10 of vet skill

- Mate your pets at least once!

- Settle down and have at least one kid

Generation 6: Seasons (Any World)

- Go on a Jungle Adventure! This feature was added the same year as seasons

- Experience all the seasons!

- Get an umbrella

- Go swimming, tan in the sun, rake leaves, build snowpals, etc

- Celebrate the holidays and decorate your house!

- Have one of the new aspiration reward traits

- Join the gardening career and become an expert gardener and bee keeper

- Learn Flower Arranging and/or Woodworking skill

- Have a cow plant

- Have Vertical Planters

- Please a gnome each time they appear on your lot

- Have at least one kid and have them join an after school activity (scouts!)

- Have your partner tragically die (preferably by cow plant) and become a single parent-never remarry

Generation 7: Get Famous (Del Sol Valley)

- Become an actor/actress and start rising to fame

- Have the self absorbed trait

- Level up in the acting and media production skill

- Become a five star celebrity

- Practice mixology

- Hook up with a director

- Never settle down (or go through a messy divorce if you try ;))

- Meet Baby Ariel

- Hook up with other celebrities

- Have lifetime aspiration of World-Famous Celebrity or Master Actor

- Have multiple baby daddies

- Move into a mansion

Generation 8: Island Living (Sulani)

- Become a conservationist, clean up the beaches and watch your sim’s impact bloom all over the island

- Learn the fishing and snorkeling skills

- Attend a pit barbecue event and befriend the island natives

- Fall in love with an island native

- Become a mermaid

- Have at least one lot trait/challenge that came with the expansion

- Throw a Kava party

- Have child of the islands trait and beach life aspiration

- Find buried treasures

- Reach level 10 of your career

- Have at least one kid

Optional Mini-Series: StrangerVille

- Spend the Season trying to get to the bottom of the StrangerVille Mystery

- Have the paranoid trait

- Have your sims join the military career to get more inside information

- Have an “accidental” child with either a possessed sim or a military personnel

- Solve the mystery to end season

Generation 9: Discover University (Britechester)

- Dive deeper into the Realm of Magic! Spell casters also became available to simmers this year

- Have a spell caster roommate in order to do this

- Pick the college that best suits your sim

- Live on campus

- Cheer on the student body at a school spirit event

- Wear school colors to show your sim’s pride

- Meet other students, party, hookup, etc

- Have one sim be a really good student and another student be an average one who’s not afraid to stay up late, skip class, not do homework, etc

- Have your good student have the Academic aspiration

- Have one of your sims have the research and debate skill and the other one have the robotics skill

- Join a student organization or start a club centered around school

- Wohoo in the shower!

- Earn your degree

- Move off campus (but still in the world) and never stop trying to live that college lifestyle

- Have at least one kid

Generation 10: Eco Lifestyle (Evergreen Harbor)

- Dress up and visit the Batuu! The Star Wars pack became available to simmers this year

- Have the freegan, green fiend, maker, and/or recycle disciple trait(s)

- Have the Eco Innovator or Master Maker aspiration

- Help your towns eco footprint

- Upcycle someone else’s junk and get an insect farm

- Offset your bills with wind turbines, solar panels, and dew collectors

- Level up the fabrication and juice fizzing skill

- Join the civil designer career

- WooHoo in a dumpster!

- Have at least one kid

Generation 11: Snowy Escape (Mt. Komorebi)

- Go to each of the new festivals

- Have the adventurous and/or the proper trait(s)

- Have the rock climbing, snowboarding, and skiing skill

- Have the Extreme Sports Enthusiast or the Mt. Komorebi Sightseer aspiration

- Go to the hot springs and on nature walks

- Fall in love with a Mt. Komorebi native

- Have hot pot dinners

- Spend a few nights in a vacation lot

- WoHoo in the hot springs and the ice cave

- Climb Mt. Komorebi

- Have at least one kid

Generation 12: Cottage Living (Henford-on-Bagley)

- Start your garden of big and regular plants

- Get chickens, cows, and/or lamas

- Have the animal enthusiast and/or lactose intolerant trait

- Have the Country Caretaker aspiration

- Learn to cross-stitch

- Have the Simple Living and/or wild foxes lot challenge

- Meet the Creature Keeper

- Become good at cooking and baking

- Order groceries and have them delivered

- Help out NPCs with tasks

- Own a cat

- Don’t join a career, live off the land and painting or writing

- Settle down

- Have at least one kid

Generation 13: High School Years (Copperdale)

- Become a teenage-single-parent (optional-possible w/mods) and move to Copperdale

- Have the overachiever, party animal, and/or socially awkward trait

- join your teenage sim at the highschool

- Have your teenage sim sneak out of the house using the window

- Have the single-parent be join any career and have them write in their spare time

- Be popular on social bunny

- Go to the thrift/bubble tea shop

- Join an after school team

- Go to prom with a date

- Complete a teen aspiration

- Have the entrepreneur skill

- Have a wedding for the single parent! My wedding stories came out this year

- Have at least one kid or continue the generation with the newly aged teen if possible

Optional Mini-Series: Werewolves (MoonWood Mill)

- Move to MoodWood Mills and get cursed bite

- Turn for the first time with your sim having no idea what is happening

- Have your sim start to discover more about MoonWood mill and werewolves

- Have sim spend their life trying to find a cure

- Join a pack for support and end up becoming an active member; eventually becoming an alpha

- Explore the new werewolf abilities

- Have the fishing and gardening skill

- Complete the Werewolf Initiate aspiration

- Fall in love with a werewolf and have a child together

- Have that child hate being a werewolf

- Have sim make the cure only to give it to child, as your original sim has accepted that they’re a werewolf and are happy with it now

- End Generation by curing child

Generation 14: Growing Together (San Sequoia)

- Settle down and start your family early in life

- Have a family aspiration and play with Parenthood

- Have one parent join the education career and another be stay-at-home

- Play family board games

- Teach your children to ride bikes

- Complete the infant milestone

- Get rocking chairs, keepsake boxes, and build a treehouse

- Complete a child aspiration

- Make sure your children have high childhood confidence

- Have Baby Showers, Family Reunions, and Slumber Parties

- Have good relationships with your neighbors and throw many community parties

- Have a spare room for people to come and stay over

- Have at least three kids

- Grow old with your spouse

Sims 4 Lepacy Challenge

This is a multigenerational challenge inspired by The Sims 3 Lepacy Challenge with a slight twist of a story line for those non creatives out there. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of room for your own spins and storytelling if you enjoy that like me.

You do not have to follow rule by rule, make the game fun for yourself. That’s the point- to explore stuff you haven’t and have fun with the game again. If you want a bigger twist you can play vanilla, well CAS anyway. I don’t think anyone can live without certain mods.

Since packs are a little complicated to disable, you can play with them all installed, just don’t play with their aspects until it's unlocked through the generations. Objects and CAS items are free grabs though. Unless you want that extra challenge.

As far as Seasons and My Wedding Stories, I’m allowing those as a free for all to have throughout all generations as My Wedding Story doesn’t have much game play you can make an entire generation out of. As far as seasons, I just can’t live without but I wanted to combine its gameplay aspects with Cottage Living.

The LEPacy Challenge: Sims 4 Edition

This challenge is the sims 4 version of the sims 3 lepacy challenge. Modified into the liking of the sims 4 and its packs. This is also a legacy challenge, sort of. I will not say I made this challenge because it’s inspired from two other challenges (LEPacy challenge sims 3 edition and legacy challenge). I don’t think I’m the first person to come with the lepacy challenge, sims 4 edition. Have fun and follow the rules and complete all of your goals.

Rules:

1. Start off with ZERO simoleons to your sims name, on an empty lot.

2. Start with ONE sim.

3. Begin with a YA, but if you want to be difficult, start off with an Adult.

4. On a normal lifestyle.

5. If your heir dies before completing all goals, YOU LOSE. But if your sim dies (completed goals) before having an heir, then someone of the same bloodline carries on the lepacy.

6. No CC (a default skin replacement and default eyes are allowed, but THAT IS IT) in generation one, the only mods allowed in generation one are: Mc command Center, first impression (Mood pack for it to work) and Ui Cheats Extension

7. NO SHADERS for generation one.

8. No save file unless you can found an all-base game save file to your liking. All of this applies to generation one, but since you can’t go back and forth between having a save file generation and not the next, you’ll be stuck with whatever save file until the end.

9. Once you move generations, you keep the packs from the last generation in your game.

10. * Means optional, but anything without * is required UNLESS you absolutely despise the pack in the generation.

Goals to move generations:

- Complete aspiration

- IF your sim has a job, reach level TEN of the career.

- Have at least ONE biology kid to carry on the lepacy.

- Randomize two of three traits when aged up, you choose ONE trait. You don’t have to randomize the aspiration.

- Max out at least TWO skills.

The Sims 4 Luschia-Sims Lepacy Challenge (WIP)

I am currently working through the rest of the generations and testing the already finished gens so feel free to play or give any suggestions! Also let me see all of your creations for this challenge @luschia-sims ! Play in normal length lifespan.

Generation One: Work Life vs. Home Life (Get to Work)

The big dilemma; To be successful in your career or the best parent and partner you can be. Growing up, you always strived for success. Your parents would set up lemonade stands and bake sales for you to run on the weekends for extra cash. You enjoyed these events, always getting involved with the exchanges and making some money for yourself. It was rewarding. Throughout high school, you wished to be employed in a highly-accredited career- to be recognized for your hard work. Your family was so proud of you. They’re who you have to thank for who you are now. But is it who you really want to be? You love the wealth you have acquired though your dream is to be loved for who you are and not just for your worth. Will you continue to lounge in your wealth on your lonesome or be in search of the one who loves you for you?

Aspiration: Soulmate

Traits: Genius, Materialistic, Foodie.

Career: Doctor OR Scientist OR Detective.

Rules:

Live in either Willow Creek, Oasis Springs or Newcrest.

Join and reach level 10 of your chosen career.

Attend work with your sim at least 2 times a week.

Reach level 10 of the baking and charisma skills.

Fall in love with and marry your best friend.

As an adult, open your own small business in Magnolia Promenade.

Complete aspiration.

In your business, make §5,000 worth of earnings.

Have two children.

Generation Two: Rock On! (Get Together)

Your household was the typical nuclear family: two loving parents and their well-behaved children. Except you were the one to break that chain. A child expected to respect and care for their family turned out to be the total opposite. Throughout your childhood and teenage years, you resented your parents. The thought of them made you sick. During school, you decided to make a pact with your closest friends. And from then on, you were hanging out every weekend, jumping from place to place, party to party. Staying up until the early hours of the next day. Your raving days felt infinite until one morning, you got the news that you were to be a parent. All of a sudden, your whole world came crashing down. How were you supposed to take care of a child in your state? You’re employed in a minimum-wage job with little-to-no nurturing capabilities. What will the future hold for you and your new bundle of joy?

Aspiration: Leader of the Pack.

Traits: Insider OR Dance machine, Hates children, Music Lover.

Career: Fast Food Employee, Self-Employed Musician.

Rules:

Create a club as a child with your closest friends.

Have a bad relationship with your parents.

Join the fast food employee job as a teenager and achieve level three in the part-time career.

Be in a romantic situationship with one of your friends from your club as a teenager but break it off before you age into a young adult.

Move to Windenburg with a friend as a young adult.

Have a club gathering at least once a week.

Reach level 10 of the DJ mixing OR dancing and guitar skills.

Complete aspiration.

Rekindle your teenage romance as an adult, have a child with them, and move in together.

After your child is born, quit the fast food business and become a self-employed musician.

Never get married.

Generation Three: Learning to Love (City Living)

Living in the quiet town of Windenburg all your childhood wasn't your thing. So you decided to pack your belongings and move to the big city. San Myshuno was the perfect place to begin a new chapter in your life. New places, new experiences, new people, new everything! You wanted to leave your old life behind, find new friends and maybe even love. The only problem was you are horrible at flirting. But for now it didn't matter and the possibilities were endless! Throughout your young adult life, you focused solely on your friends and career, creating new memories and seeking new experiences. Your life seemed perfect. As you matured, your friends began settling down and starting families. You were in a crisis. Will you follow your friends and feel the need for a perfect life or will you travel at your own pace and learn that imperfection is the true perfection?

Aspiration: City Native.

Traits: Unflirty, Perfectionist, Cheerful.

Career: Political OR Critic OR Social Media.

Rules:

Move to San Myshuno as a young adult.

Join and reach level 10 of your chosen career.

Become friends with your landlords and neighbors.

Explore and succeed in every San Myshuno festival (complete all objectives).

Reach level 10 of the singing and painting skills.

Give an apartment key to your best friend.

Have at least one child.

As an adult, move into a different apartment in another district.

Collect all snow globes OR city posters.

Attend karaoke night every week.

Complete aspiration.

As an elder, move in with your best friend.

Generation Four: A Man’s Best Friend (Cats & Dogs)

Jumping from apartment to apartment, you didn’t experience the joy of a pet. As a teenager, you hung flyers around the city and picked up babysitting gigs to make some extra cash. Once you earned enough money, you went against your parent’s rule and bought yourself a furry friend. Providing them with a loving home, food, and water every day and giving them all the toys in the world. You and your parents were close, but nothing can compare between a sim and their pet. As you strolled through the streets of San Myshuno, you encountered hundreds of stray animals. The pain it brought to you was unbearable- so from then on, you made it your mission to help any animal in need. As you get older and into young adulthood, you move to the beachside town of Brindleton Bay and decide to open your own vet clinic. And who knows, you may even find someone who loves animals just as much as you do.

Aspiration: Friend of the Animals.

Traits: Cat lover OR Dog lover, Bookworm, Active.

Career: Babysitter, Veterinarian.

Rules:

Join the babysitter part-time job as a teenager.

Get your first pet as a teenager and become best friends forever with them.

Move to Brindleton Bay as a young adult with your furry friend.

Have at least 200 followers on your pet's Instagram.

Adopt a stray animal.

Have six pets as a part of your household in your entire lifetime.

Quit your babysitter gig and open a vet clinic.

Make §15,000 worth of earnings from your clinic.

Reach level 10 of the pet training and veterinarian skills.

Marry a sim with the opposite animal lover trait as you.

Have at least one child.

Complete aspiration.

Generation Five: Time Waits for No One (Seasons)

Playing with cats and dogs in your childhood was fun but you believe the peaceful life of a gardener is right for you. As a child you joined the scouts group which grew your love of the outdoors. You’re a clumsy, hopeless romantic who wears their heart on their sleeve and during high school you fell head over heels for someone who felt the exact same way as you. Every holiday brought you overwhelming excitement; Love day, Winterfest, Spooky day, New Years day. The happiness of your loved ones brought you joy. As soon as you graduated you married the love of your life. You were comfortable in your relationship and knowing that your children will grow up in a good home. Everything was just right.

Aspiration: Freelance Botanist OR The Curator OR Angling Ace.

Traits: Loves outdoors, Romantic, Clumsy.

Career: Gardener

Rules:

Become a scout as a child and collect every badge.

Be in a romantic relationship with someone throughout high school.

Enjoy every holiday to its fullest (complete all objectives).

Marry your high school sweetheart as soon as you graduate high school.

Join and reach level 10 of the Gardener career.

Reach level 10 of the flower arrangement and gardening skills.

Complete chosen aspiration.

Maintain a small garden for your entire lifetime.

Have two biological children and one adopted child.

Build a greenhouse in your backyard.

Generation Six: Living in the Lap of Luxury (Get Famous)

Your parents believed the quiet life was the life for you all- four walls full of memories and a home-cooked meal to come home to at the end of the day. Yet, that never seemed to be enough for you, always longing for more- a life outside of your comfortable four walls. Your dream was to make it big in the world... to be a star! As a child you begged to your parents to enrol you in acting classes which of course they agreed to because all they wanted for their babies was to achieve their dreams. As you got older you knew that your acting capabilities would be adored outside of these acting classes and ventured to Del Sol Valley! You'd known all of your life that you'd be a shining star and made it your mission to show the world your talent.

Aspiration: World-Famous Celebrity OR Master Actor.

Traits: Self-Absorbed, Outgoing, Jealous.

Career: Actor

Rules:

Join the drama club as a child and achieve level four in the activity before aging up into a young adult.

Be close with your siblings.

Move to Del Sol Valley once you become a young adult.

Master the acting, media production and one of your chosen skills.

Become a global superstar (level 5 celebrity).

Acquire at least two quirks.

Join and master the actor career.

Join your sim to every acting gig they get.
