muslim kids are so cool i had a class today that were mostly refugee kids but they were sooo chill and whenever theres a class with christian kids i get nervous because 9/10 they will try to proselytise (they r children i dont hold it against them it’s just awkward) meanwhile muslim kids are always just like mhhm anyway I’m going to teach you arabic now okay :) christian kids will give you a haunting speech about sin and punishment and eating people that makes you really worried for their mental health and muslim kids will just be like sooo I’m just going to tell you the life story of my entire extended family now, okay?

i am soooo upset. trying to write a poem rn about how my best friend since 2nd grade and i have always been interested in the same things but she’s always been better than me at every single one of them except i always had singing for myself until like covid i think where she joined choir and started songwriting and is now signing a record deal which is like my dream but i was never good enough at singing/songwriting to get there bc she’s neurotic in the artistic manic pixie dream girl way and im just neurotic but the words just will not come out how i want which is really just a punch in the gut bc she’s an incredible poet UGH im so.
