I love how Chloe totally planned to break into the pool with Max.
She’s wearing a swimsuit bottom underneath her clothing, which implies that she got dressed with water in mind. It’s also very convenient how her bra matches her swim bottoms.
I feel very confident in saying that Chloe planned their pool break-in from the moment Max suggested they poke around Blackwell. She left her house a little too prepared for the night’s events for me to think otherwise.
I do find it hilarious though because Max is like “I love spontaneous Chloe is. She’s so intense for suddenly wanting to break into the pool,” and meanwhile Chloe is taking off her clothes to reveal the swim suit she’s been wearing all night.
Anyway to cap off my Rachel Amber thoughts for the night I have the headcanon that part of what made Rachel into Rachel Amber TM was the fact that Rachel is naturally flirty as part of her personality though not actually all that sexual as a person. But because she’s also beautiful and charismatic that led to most people sexualizing her from a young age which, because Rachel is also smart as hell with a manipulative streak, she used it to her advantage. which older men took advantage of because even a smart teenager is still a teenager.
An actually emotionally healthy Rachel to me would act much more like comic Rachel- she might flirt for fun but she’s not trying to use that in anyway. She’s not dating a bunch of people or anything because she only emotionally connects with a few people.
Do you remember how Taylor says Victoria is actually a really great, supporting friend in ep 1? Max doesn’t believe her, and we don’t either, because we’ve only seen her being a mean bitch, and the way she talks to Courtney and Taylor and boss them around don’t help us think otherwise. But the way she wants to help Max so much and is worried about her being mad at her in the alternate timeline makes me think she probably just said the truth. And we have glimpses of how Victoria and Max’s friendship could go after the Bae ending.
Victoria is a really well written, interesting character and I wish we had seen more of her, though I was really happy reading her letter in LiS 2 :)
Well I can’t find the clip and it’s driving me crazy BUT my favorite underrated pricefield moment is when Chloe and Max just learned that Rachel was hooking up with Frank, and they’re going back to Blackwell, they’re in Chloe’s car and depending on what dialogue option you picked, Chloe will say « Everybody pretends to care until they don’t. Even you. » then Max replies with « Chloe Price, you better take that back right now. » and Chloe actually takes it back within a second. This is not discussed enough because that’s the first time Max is being firm with Chloe and Chloe doesn’t even try to fight back, no matter how angry she is, and the fact that it’s because Max doesn’t want Chloe to think she doesn’t care about her and the fact that Chloe actually listens is just gold. I know they’re arguing in that scene but this little interaction is my Roman Empire.
