Gonna start off with the obvious, Bruce fell first and he fell pretty hard but Vance fell WAY harder like he was whipped when he realized he liked Bruce.

Briffin is kind of a hard one but I think Billy fell first and Griffin kinda fell harder. Griffin needs a bond to fall for someone and BOOM that person was Billy like he got attached to Billy.

Rinney is like the only ship this doesn’t work because here’s the thing Robin fell first AND hard like 500 mph hard so whipped he got whiplash he has the heart eyes in secret he is down BAD for Finney. Finney still fell pretty hard though

Some people are confused by Bruce and Griff and Finn’s affection with each other. It’s just because they’re so close, and have been for their whole lives, and literally couldn’t give less of a fuck about showing those kinds of emotion. That’s a deadly combo

At some point, when Griffin finally decides to let Billy fuck him at work, they’ve been making out for a while, B goes “I’ve had this dream,” with a drunken smile and Griff deadass goes “keep dreaming” and turns and continues working on the dead body two feet away because he’s a little shit like that

Robin and Vance laughed at him for it later

Griff is also the type of person to binge Disney movies for like six hours, suddenly get bored of them, and switch right over to Deadpool or Saw or some shit and his energy doesn’t change At All

Speaking of horror movies– Finney and Bruce are shivering under a blanket, covering their eyes every time something remotely scary happens, and Griffin laughs every time someone is stabbed or killed

The first time Griff showed up to work in a skirt, 90% of his coworkers mysteriously had to leave with nosebleeds

It’s canon but. Billy is OBSESSED with Griffin’s thighs

Like if they’re cuddling or something and his legs are in reach, Billy’s hands are on them, and if Griffin has to shift, he will deadass complain about it and beg him to switch back

Bruce would never tell anyone but Vance, but he absolutely had crushes on horror movie killers like Michael and Jason and Ghostface. He got so into true crime, he decided he wanted to devote his life to it, just… on the other end of the spectrum

Finney Blake loves sushi but can’t use chopsticks for the life of him. I said what I said

Griffin redoes his hair every couple months, when he goes back to get it cut– Billy’s personal favorite will always be red, but he’s a sucker for blue and pink and purple as well (really any color jesus this boy has it BADDD)

Sometimes Griffin will walk into work, blowing obnoxiously loud bubbles with his gum, and when he leaves, Billy is trailing behind him, mysteriously blowing his own pink bubbles with a shit-eating grin, Griffin’s nowhere to be found

Finn and Robin probably have the least toxic relationship of the three, aside from the lying about real names from right off the bat

Okay side note I genuinely Can Not Tell whether or not Griff and Finn and Bruce are going to make the other three better or Vance and Billy and Robin are going to make them worse because it could TOTALLY GO EITHER WAY

Not to spoil too bad, but Griffin is a little shit who smokes weed and will weaponize his looks to manipulate people into giving him what he wants

Finney is willing to hear out ANYONE if he thinks they’re speaking from the heart, and he will absolutely not hesitate to shoot somebody if they piss him off

Bruce has kept both dead bodies sent his way by the stalker hitman in some way– pictures of the guy, little bird preserved perfectly in its box. Also manipulates like a boss

Basically core Slytherins who do good only because it offers better pay and are THIS CLOSE to losing it and killing someone for mildly inconveniencing them

Billy, as I’ve said before and IN CANON, is absolutely fucking obsessed with Griffin. So obsessed, in fact, that he had to get closer to him in both personas just to see him more often. We know he’s not a total douchebag from the fact that he lets absolutely no sexual assault happen anywhere near his organization and only sells drugs for the money, not because he enjoys it

Robin liked Finn enough by, the first time they met, HID A BODY FOR HIM, and the second time let him patch him up after a fight and let him drive his fucking car, even when he knew something was up because Finn’s hair and eyes were totally different from the first time

Where do I even start with Vance.

My man killed somebody and made a biiig mess and delivered it as a gift to a poor boy he made out with in an elevator once and decided to stalk. He knows where he works and where he lives. If Bruce asked him to kill, he’d do it again, zero hesitation, and then turn to him looking for approval like a puppy. He’s almost as bad as Billy, if not worse

I know some people who don't like it, and people who find their dynamics cute (I'm this type of person, the fandom convince me they would be really cute together)

sassy couple who gossips and talk shit about everyone, billy knows because he's the town Paperboy and Griffin because he of people watching and nobody noticing the quiet kid

I personally don’t ship it but I think it’s cute. They’d have a good dynamic and I just know they’d follow each other around like lost puppies whether they mean to or not

I need to talk about Evan, I'm going insane.

I first thought that I should wait more chapters and collect more data, but I have so many hypothesis! Maybe in the next chapter where you said it will be more Showstagg we'll gain more information on this mysterious character.

I have two hypothesis, one of them has it's holes but the man was only mention 3/4 times, we'll have to work with what we have

Evan is the equivalent of Eric Knox

This theory bases himself only on the surname joke on chapter 2, which I didn't get it. First I thought it was a play word or something and I didn't understand because english is not my mother language, but then I watched the movie and everything made a lot more sense.

“How do you like your new identities?” She asks with glee, clearly finding this too amusing. “Dylan Knox?“ Griffin groans, “Really?” Donna raises her hand and looks at her manicure, delicate and gentle. “It works, doesn’t it?” “It’s obvious, is what it is.”

In the movie Eric plays the apparently good guy who after sleeping with Dylan revels that he actually was the mastermind.

So I was thinking that maybe Griffin reluctance to believe in Billy liking him was because something like this happen in the past before? Like, in a mission he got close to Evan/someone only to later be revealed that he/they were part or at least weren't so innocent as they look.

Billy leans closer, the tall asshole, “I like you.” “No, you don’t.” Griffin says in one fast breath. “Yes, I do.” “You can’t!” Billy raises a brow. “How can’t I?” “You just can’t.” “Well, too late,” He smiles, genuine, “I do.” “You,” Griffin swallows, “You’re lying.” “I am not.” Griffin scoffs, “This isn’t fucking funny. It really isn’t.” He leans against the door.

But this theory has a lot of holes in it, because it wouldn't make sense for Griffin to keep contact with someone that wasn't on their side, or that made him feel betrayed somehow.

“Did you text Evan today?” Finney asks easily, because this was the first time Griffin didn’t type out a goodmorning text on his phone after making their coffee. Griffin sinks in his seat, “I… I didn’t.” Well, that’s why Griffin is off today. “Why not?““I got…” Griffin pauses, breathing deep, and then trying again. “I’m…” “Scared?” Finney offers, because Griffin has trouble articulating what he feels and means sometimes. Griffin’s eyes widened, “Terrified.”

And also, this theory would contradict Evan bring scared of Griffin's job, because if he was used to dirty work or something like that, then he wouldn't be put off by Griffin's job. But maybe it's not the job that scares him, and yes the possibility of Griffin getting hurt/killed.

"About what? Evan would be so proud of you.” Finney tells him, “You should text him to let him know about the case.” Griffin’s hands shake. “What if… What if he’s not? Evan’s always been scared of all this.” Yes, well, Evan never went through proper training and Evan was never Griffin, but Finney can’t articulate that without sounding dick-ish. Evan is allowed to feel a type of way, but this is Griffin’s life. And Griffin gets to choose what he does with it.

2. Evan is in their line of job, but not a agent

Maybe that's why Evan can know about Griffin going o a case? Because in my head that would be like... something you don't go telling people about?

Maybe him and Griffin study together in college, or he is their co-worker. A mortician like Griffin? Or something like that.

That can explain the lack of proper training, I guess, because he's doesn't work on missions. But he does work on a lab or a office in the FBI

Or maybe he just a common civilian, idk

His relationship with Griffin

I'm guessin they're in a situationship, or like, are in love with eachother but to afraid to talk about it and officially become boyfriends.

If they are dating, then I feel bad about Evan because his man is getting a little too invested in Billy's flirting. And it wouldn't be cool of Griffin to be cheating, as he often describe as a loyal type. But... maybe BECAUSE he's in a relationship he's so conflicted and guilty about this relationship with Billy/Paperboy.

This train of thoughts looks like someone guilty about considering cheating, or like, feeling their conscience heavy because they are desiring someone that's not their partner.

Griffin has the strangest urge to just— And he won’t. He won’t do it. He can’t do it, it’s already weird enough he’s letting it go this far and he’s just… He can’t do it.

There's also the possibility that it's a one-sided crush of Griffin, because we got feelings confirmation from his side, we don't know how Evan feel about him.

(It’s nothing like how he felt with Evan. Nothing close to that thump-thump-thump of his heart, and his burning cheeks, and he giggles. That’s how he knows it’s not love.)

If they text good morning everyday, then at least they're good friends. Whether they are lovers, boyfriends, friends, exes, we will only find out later.

(Pls give me something, a hints, a little spoiler, I'm almost beggin /hj)

What's your hc on Robin's relationship with his sexuality? How he discovered it, how he feels about it, how he deals with the heteronormative society around him, etc etc whatever you're thinking about. And feel free to include any of the other characters that you also hc as non straight!

Oh this question. I can go ON and ON about this.

Since this question mentioned mainly Robin, I’ll start with him and go more into detail with only Robin for this post.

I feel like Robin’s thoughts and mentality with his sexuality was mostly always negative and his self esteem about it was awful.

I can imagine just since day one of being friends with Finney, he had a crush on him. He saw Finney as someone who was so much better than him. Finney treated him with kindness and Robin treated him with just as much kindness, if not more.

I think around 4th-5th grade for him is when he realized the way he felt around and about Finney wouldn’t be considered normal by society. Robin read the newspapers, he watched the TV, he heard what people have said. He knows he isn’t considered “normal”.

The day he realized, he just went home and cried and yelled into his pillow because he thought he was a horrible person. He felt like he disappointed his parents, he felt like they were looking down on him in shame. He thought that if they were alive, they wouldn’t love him anymore if they knew. I feel like if Robin was religious, he would have prayed to god or whatever was up there to fix and cure him, to rid him of his “sins”.

Robin doesn’t discuss this with his uncle or Finney at pretty much any point early on. He wants to like girls so he can be considered normal, but he knows he can’t force himself to like girls. He can’t help but feel his heart flutter when Finney does so much as look at him. Seeing Finney have a crush on Donna completely destroyed him, but what could he do? He didn’t think Finney would ever like him; a boy.

Robin defends Finney from bullies that call him slurs and make fun of him because if Robin was the one in Finney’s place, Robin would want to be defended as well.

What Robin doesn’t know is that other kids do call Robin those things. They talk about him, just not to his face. He’s called those things because they think he looks gay in those jeans, gay in those tank tops, gay with his long hair. But the most damning piece of evidence is that he defends Finney, someone who is constantly bullied on the suspicion that he is gay. When Robin did find out about all these rumors, he felt more self hate than he ever did before.

He does learn to be accepting of who he is as a person, though it takes a long long time.

I feel like Finney would be characteristically pessimistic when it comes to him realizing he’s bisexual. He knows all the backlash he’d get from people if he ever mentioned it. He knows Gwen would still support and accept him though. :)

I feel like he would discover/realize he was bisexual when he realized he started looking at Robin differently, like the same way he would look at Donna. He noticed how his heart started beating faster when he was around him.

He doesn’t talk to his dad about it for the fear that their relationship will get worse, and he doesn’t want to be hurt anymore than he already has been.

He mostly accepts himself, but he just wonders what would happen if his bullies did find out about this.

Bruce discovered he was bisexual when he saw Vance for the first time and went home, and couldn’t get him out of his head. Vance literally had him entranced.

Bruce is one of those people that despite all of society’s opinions on the lgbtq, he is open about his bisexuality. He’s a bit sad when his friends start looking at him weird and his baseball team avoid him completely after they learn this info.

Bruce’s family is 100% accepting of him and I don’t see it any other way. They would still love Bruce to the fullest and would just want him to be happy and to most importantly stay safe.

Bruce is probably the one who had the least amount of a crisis over his sexuality.

Vance is probably the one who hates himself the most when it comes to his sexuality. After his parents divorced and he became a child of split custody, his life kinda went downhill a bit. While Bonnie is a very supporting and kind mother, Scott (Vance’s dad) is pretty religious, and drills thoughts into Vance’s head, threatening him, and just making Vance afraid.

Vance had religious trauma, and he was very cautious when it came to his dad. He felt like he was walking on eggshells around him all the time.

Vance didn’t realize he was gay for a while. Sure, he read metal band magazines and would stare at the guys on his band posters for a bit too long, but he didn’t really consider it. He kind of only realized when he became friends with Bruce, and got unknowingly jealous when girls got close with Bruce.

When Vance finally realized he was gay, he kind of just lost it. He went home to his mom’s house, locked himself in his room, and kind of just had self-destructive behavior for a bit. He thought he was disgusting and thought that he didn’t deserve anything good since he had a crush on a boy.

Most kids in North Denver already suspected Vance of being gay. They would make fun of his choker, his clothing style, and his long curly hair; plus how angelic he looked physically was a reason for this.

Even after he starts dating Bruce, he’s still very very closeted and is afraid to even stand right next to Bruce in public. He gets very paranoid when people find out about them dating.

Billy is a bit like of an odd ball.

Billy would get notes from girls slipped into his backpack or folders when he was younger asking him if he wanted to be their boyfriend, but every time Billy said no and brushed it off.

Billy’s parents had zero clue or suspicions about Billy being bi but they didn’t berate him when they did find out; they loved him all the same.

Billy kinda didn’t really realize himself. All he knew was that he found the lonely boy on the playground that was a year younger than him interesting. Billy found Griffin to be interesting.

He was always thrown off by romantic and suggestive scenes in movies though. He’d exaggerate a gag, and would turn away or leave the room. He didn’t know why it irked him so much. He didn’t know of the term asexual.

When he finally did realize, all he knew was that he only wanted to grow old with one person, which was Griffin.

Griffin was always a bit wacky from the start.

Bonnie knew ever since Griffin was in daycare that he wasn’t like any of the other boys there. Griffin always wanted to play dress up, was a mama’s boy, was a very shy kid, and was kind of frightened by the rowdiness of other boys.

When Griffin grew older, he never had any crushes. He never found any kid in his grade interesting, he never had a thing for anyone. He found boys cute, sure, but never got any crushes on them. Heck, it even took a while for him to feel any kind of feelings for Billy.

Griffin also was irked by romantic and suggestive scene. He never saw the appeal. He could feel the sweat on his hands and the turning of his stomach whenever he saw stuff like that.

Griffin knew what the term gay was. His mom had taught him that some people were just different than others and that it was okay. When he finally kinda realized, he didn’t care in the slightest. But it was odd. He was interested in boys, but at the same time, he never had been. He had grown to only be interested in Billy.

He just had to get to him a little bit, that’s all.

I just started school again this week from fall break and omg 😭 HORRIBLE I TELL U HORRIBLE. but, it got me thinking, what do u think the tbp boys opinions r on school?

AAAA i’m sorry about school! school literally sucks so bad 😭

but omg i love this question .

I’m just gonna talk about how their opinions on school are after the basement and how their opinions changed (my tumblr is basically a page for my AU now isnt it 😞)

Finney pretty much dislikes school before and after; he likes keeping his grades good but he just hates going because of bullies and the stares he gets after the basement. It makes him feel worse. He likes science the most. He gets annoyed when people call him names but most of the time he doesn’t mind because he just wants to get through school. He goes to the counselor only sometimes.

Robin hates school, and he probably always will. I like to think he has good or at least nice grades in all of his classes except math, and he’s barely passing science. He has dyscalculia, so he feels stupid when it comes to numbers but is afraid to ask for help from anyone besides Finney. He’s in the counselor’s office a lot talking about his thoughts, emotions and personal issues. Robin deals with bullying a bit but of course he isn’t sitting by and taking it. Sometimes stuff is written on his locker also.

Bruce used to love school but now he’s like, indifferent leaning towards disliking it. He still has amazing grades and is probably on high honor roll, but he feels out of place now. He feels like he’s popular but not the way he wants to be. He thinks he missed a lot since he wasn’t there for the beginning of the year, plus he just feels out of place in his usual friend group now. Sometimes he just gets irritated and stays alone. He spaces out in school a lot, which leads to a lot of counselor appointments that he himself didn’t schedule.

Vance hates school more than anything. He barely has friends besides yknow, the others that were in the basement but now he just feels completely outcasted. He was given a chance to move up a grade so he took it, so he’s a freshman when he goes back to school. He had a lot of testing to do though, which luckily he passed. Vance is pretty much on a hair’s trigger now. If someone says ANYTHING about his experiences or the other’s experiences, there’s a high chance he’s gonna come out of that with a suspension or a detention. He manages to keep okay grades though.

Billy liked school kind of. He’s kinda introverted but when he was younger he would hang out with Robin and Finney at school, so it kind of got different when he went missing. He had nice grades and he was kind of social.

Griffin disliked school. He was never talked to and he sat alone every class, every year. If he was in a group assignment, he usually asked the teacher if he could work by himself. But he’s a good kid and had good grades.

Griffin and Billy come as a package deal with a lot of things but especially school after the basement events. They’re pretty much glued together. They both dislike school a lot because of bullies. They have a lot of classes together because of their separation anxiety, which the school knows about. Billy is really sad when he graduates 8th grade and is alone without Griffin for a year. They’re in the counselor’s office a lot or have a teaching assistant take them out of their classes for a bit. It’s not because they want to talk to them and their problems, but to just let them calm down and work in an environment where they aren’t pressured and can just work with each other.

okey dokey so I was supposed to be asleep like two hours or something ago but here I am making paper rings while a headcanon popped into my empty brain

I have a feeling billy would’ve done origami as a distraction after the basement stuff and he’d bring griffin into it cause y’know and they’d make little paper rings for each other (I only ship briffin platonically but I know u see them romantically so I thought it was a cute idea :] )

so then he’d teach everyone else and they all just make origami with each other and stuff :3333

They are literal sweethearts. They would love making each other paper rings. I’m making it canon that they make paper rings while watching Charlie Brown because i cant be stopped. They make so many different colors and just have like 28 by the time they take a break

Billy is one THOUSAND percent the type to believe if you made 1000 origami cranes, then you get a wish. Once he finally made that many, he wished for him and the others to never grow apart

Billy would so drag the others into origami

Finney is so up for origami I think he would like that, he learns how to make little paper stars so he shows the others how to make them

Robin would like origami but I feel like he’d get frustrated if he couldn’t fold the paper correctly or if the paper crinkled on accident so most of the time he just watches the others do it

Bruce would like it, but since the loss of vision in his right eye, he has a lot of trouble with hand-eye coordination. He still manages to make some cool things with origami, just takes him a bit

Okay, I just want to say this fic by ECLIPSEWXTCH is literally one of the most amazing tbp fics I have ever read. It literally only has 2 chapters and I already am hooked. Definitely make sure to read through the tags, but if you can I highly recommend it.
