For all my problems with it, I really really like that MK1 has a pretty big found family vibe to it, and I love when mk does that, and it’s giving me lots of ideas.

Found family is really funny in mk becuase you get shit where Cassie cage’s aunts and uncles are , a revenant, a man rebuilding his clan after his brother turned evil and made them robots, multiple shoalin monks, a couple Demi gods, an extended royal family from another world, a blind ninja, multiple reformed literal demons, a native American warrior, a lizard, multiple monsters and her moms squadmate from the academy, and then just Johnny’s actual normal brother.

Like Imagine having family dinner and you invite your close friend and ally, a man who is rebuilding his clan from scratch, whose brother tried to kill him and all his friends, who has stood with you against demons and monsters and tyrants, and he shows up with ice and his edgy adopted teenage daughter

Sareena has lived in the Netherealm all her life, so she is brand new to everything. That includes movies, and it's now Johnny's mission to introduce her to any movie she wants. Even the bad ones.

All three of them are interested in each other. The last ones to get together officially was probably Johnny and Bi-Han, and that's because Johnny is an aquired taste.

They're all welcome in Johnny's mansion, they're welcome in the Shoalin Temple where Sareena first lived with Ashrah, but Johnny has been banned 17 times from the Lin Kuei temple.

Bi-Han lets him back eventually. Emphasis on eventually.

If anything, their relationships were a surprise to everyone, but only when Johnny was involved. Everyone could see that Bi-Han was different when it came to Sareena, and yeah, it took him a while to get over his contempt for Johnny after their first meeting.

Bi-Han still owes for that Hichuli. No he will not pay it.

Johnny is very much the one to show the modern world to Sareena, which includes everything. Bi-Han might act like he's dragged along, but he does enjoy their outings whenever he's free, despite how rare that is.

Kids is definitely a subject for the far future. None of them feel ready at that moment, especially with Johnny's recent divorce and Bi-Han's less than ideal feelings around fatherhood.

Specific for after Bi-Han's betrayal: Both Sareena and Johnny can't get close to Bi-Han after he betrays them, so they offer their help to the Shirai Ryu. Bi-Han sees it as another betrayal, but they don't want to kill him. They want to save him.

I think who would be most affected in that Au de Raiden dies but the rest lives, Fujin is the most affected, right? His older brother, his role model, is dead but not even that can be granted to him anymore since Shinnok and Quanchi brought him as an undead, denying him rest and the worst thing is that they twist him to do their will.

Fujin definitely deserves hugs and comfort from everyone

I can imagine that for Fujin, fighting his brother would take so much willpower from him. He would have to be near death and nearly loosing someone else close to him (Nightwolf or the Shoalin brothers) before Fujin actually puts his heart into attacking Raiden for the sake of Earthrealm. Oh, and Quan Chi, at LEAST, would be getting the beatdown of his life (I don't believe he could best Shinnok). He would probably even kill Quan Chi, hoping that it would restore Raiden. Only to be disappointed that either:

A: Raiden fades away because Quan Chi is dead (thus his magical influence on Raiden was dispelled)

or B: Raiden still remains as a all-powerful revenant. And Fujin would have to kill his brother

1. The History of Kung-fu In Chinese, the term 功夫 (gōngfū) Kung-fu refers to any skill that is acquired through learning or practice. 功夫 (gōng fū) Kung-fu is an ancient Chinese martial art of hand-to-hand combat. The martial art was developed to be a defense against an opponent who used any one-to-one, hand-to-hand fighting methods.
