‘To Make An Empire Fall’

Prologue

The Akreton Empire was never seen as something less than perfect, glorious, and a symbol of strength and prosperity for all to admire; they were an ideal example of all the virtues that an Empire should have, yet that's only the facade played by the Emperor.

In Truth the Empire and its capital is a rotten place where not even the wealthy can live without Caution at every step, which is why it's no surprise it's practically impossible to survive as a commoner with no protection. yet they themselves don't even realise that,

During the day the Capital is exactly how it portrays itself, Bright and Bustling with vibrant flowers decorating every corner of the streets, But when the sun falls it's not even safe to be inside, this is when the criminals begin to wander about, most people end up being killed for being unlucky enough to go down the wrong alley, or even some are sold away as slaves. The current Emperor Reimond Akreton, despite ruling over the empire for multiple decades, has only ignored the crime rates at night.

Instead he has opted to just laze about, ignoring the commoners complaints about how bad things have gotten. The Empress, Lyonnete Akreton, Was bedridden for years when her husband had become so lazy his hair had gone grey. In fact, her health has been steadily declining since she became Empress. The only hope for true safety was the crown prince, but behind his shining face. He was more filthy than his father. He had spent much of his days flirting and playing around with noble ladies and ignoring all his studies and Princely work, It's almost shocking he's still the crown prince.

The other 2 princes are practically useless dolls to their younger sister who's just as rotten as the crown prince, she's just spoiled and arrogant.

However in that same Empire lies the Alakour Dukedom specifically the daughter of the duke and the second child, Blythe Alakour shes renowned as a strong headed girl with ambition that rivalled a burning flame, she's well versed in many ways such as swordsmanship,

Yet she's not the heir because her older brother is seemingly favoured by her father, yet he has no idea how to even hold a sword let alone use one.

The duke was extremely sick from his own injuries from countless battles that left him unable to walk.

This is when Blythe decided no matter how many people were against her and how strong they were, she was going to destroy this empire and make a new empire where peace and safety is the only goal. And she was going to achieve this goal.... no matter what she had to do.

I don’t really plan on posting this story on tumblr i just wanted to see if people liked this sort of story! and also plz give writing tips.. I’m basically a newbie at writing stuff like this! :/

Just a musing that struck me while working on That Ginormous Farking Seasonal Lot:

It's a shame that EA didn't release Sims 4 in 2009 and Sims 3 in 2015. (I think? Whenever it was that 4 came out, anyway.) It seems to me that TS4 would've run well enough on 2009-era machines since it'll run on today's potatoes, while TS3 runs much, much better on machines with more current, faster processors as well as things like SSDs. An SSD, especially, makes the game run so much better, and those just didn't exist in 2009. Plus, if TS3 had come out in 2015, it would've been 64-bit, which it really, really, really needs to be.

It just seems to me that TS3 was ahead of its time. Or just too ambitious for its time, I guess. Something like that.

Anyway, yeah. There’s my “profound” thought for the night. LOL
