we all saw Gregory look at Jacob's waist/stomach at the end of that episode, okay? We all did.

One thing about Gregory and Janine as a ship that I feel like I don't usually see in the "will they won't they" couple is the way that most of their conflict/disagreement is rooted in differences in teaching philosophies or the way they look at life rather than only being about their dating life. They are allowed to be complex individuals that challenge each other and disagree with each other and even sometimes get annoyed with each other, like people do in real life. It feels like the writers don't have to water down either character for the sake of the relationship or create forced drama and that's really nice

🚢 5 Friends-to-Lovers TV Romances Just Waiting to Happen
Watching a TV friendship evolve into an epic romantic relationship is the very best experience that shipping has to offer.
Let’s be honest, though–it can also be frustrating as hell. Showrunners, those experts in psychological torture, understand our love/hate feelings toward slow burns a little too well. They know we might whine about it, but we’ll still tune in week after week hoping that maybe, just maybe, we’ll finally witness a first kiss. …
These are 5 friends-to-lovers ships whose first kisses are guaranteed to be worth the wait.

Y’ALL I had a dream last night where Janine told Gregory she loves him but it was this whole thing because he was leaving Abbott or something? It was fuzzy but I can clearly remember the devastated look on his face when she said it and he knew they weren’t going to work.
