You had forgetting to bring a jacket no matter how many times Jotaro had kept reminding you. It was easy to reply to him with a simple ‘don’t worry I won’t’ via text since he wasn’t there to actually go ahead and grab a coat for you. You were just so eager to see him you replied to Jotaro with the intention of getting a jacket, but ended up heading out instead.

You knew Jotaro was busy and you didn’t want to be able to spend as much time as possible when given the chance to. He finally had a break from his work - you knew how he got when he was focusing on writing his research. The two of you decided to meet up at a coffee shop.

Once you reached the coffee shop, you noticed Jotaro outside waiting for you and you were quick to wave excitedly in his direction. He smiled a little upon seeing you, but soon frowned a bit when he saw you had forgotten your jacket.

“Hey stranger.” You greeted him giving him a small peck to his lips.

Jotaro returned the kiss, but was still frowning a little bit. Hey. You forgot your jacket.”

“That’s what I forgot… I know you reminded me, but I was just so excited to see you. Mentally I did grab a jacket though I just physically forgot to bring it.” You explained.

Jotaro shook his head - it seemed unacceptable to him that you’d be out here in the cold like this. At least the coffee shop would be warm, but he was still concerned that you could possibly catch a cold.

“I know. It’s a bad habit.” You said with a small chuckle.

Before you knew it, Jotaro reached around to wrap his arms around you. You’ve been in his embrace several times before, but this time it felt different. The way he was covering you with his body, you could tell how determined he was to keep you warm. It wasn’t a difficult task for him since he had a lot of body warmth to cover you with.

You couldn’t help but lean against him more, enjoying the warmth you were getting from him and the faint smell of cologne. He always put just the right amount and being near his scent made you smile.

“Maybe it’s not so bad that I forgot my jacket then.” You said teasingly in a quiet voice. “Just doing this until we get inside…but also because I missed you. Next time make sure you bring your jacket though.” Jotaro kept his arms around you as he headed towards the door of the coffee shop.

“Got it, I won’t forget next time I promise.” You reassured as you allowed Jotaro to lead you towards the door.

“Good.” Jotaro gave a quick kiss to the top of your head before opening the door to go inside.

Hey you,

I know I normally don’t take the time to write cheesy things like this... but with the holidays approaching I woke up feeling kind of... soft today. I never really looked forward to the holidays too much. My dad was always busy, and my mom and I tried to celebrate together but it always felt like something was missing. Sure, I had grandpa and grandma there too... They got me lots of presents, but I guess I never really wanted those things. I just wanted to spend some quality time with my family, but even then I was too stubborn to admit that. This year I just want to spend some quality time with my loved one... With you. I know sometimes I’m not good at showing you how I feel but, I’ve taken some time off and I would love to take you somewhere special. I want to make you as special as you make me feel.
